THURSDAY 11/29: I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session. Beatrice has given me no trouble at all. I am now a true believer in silica supplementation. I've never had plants with such excellent stalk turgidity. She is strong enough to support truly massive buds. FRIDAY: Beatrice is gonna be a buxom gal! She's stopped growing and is spending all her energy popping pistils now. Love it. I foliar fed her and rotated her. SATURDAY: FIMing is so unpredictable..but I like surprises.😁 Her third cola isn't catching up with the other two....looks like they will possibly all merge into one massive bud. I'll spray her with ph'd spring water for another day or two to rinse off any residue and discontinue foliar feeding on her now. I watered today with ph'd water, bud candy, terpinator, calimagic, and a little boomerang. She's directly under a 660nm spot and the 3000k quantum board..no sign of light burn, so I'm lowering it another couple inches and monitoring. SUNDAY: She's been very vigorously growing, she was fast to flower, she's got a really nice fragrance, and her structure allows all of her buds to get good light, but I'm a little disappointed that she hasn't shown me any of those special colors I see on other FB Blackberry diaries at week 6...😟 MONDAY: She was still plenty moist so I'll hold off for another day on nutes. I rinsed her with ph'd spring water again today a couple times. No worries...humidity has been below 30% for a couple days now and airflow in the tent is awesome. TUESDAY: I fed her a tiny dose (8oz) of ph'd water with some Fox Farms bat guano, calimagic, and boomerang, and misted her with ph'd spring water.

3-25-22 Things are going great as I can tell , differences in VEG vs Flower lower humidity ,higher light intensity , less feeding volume but more frequent , and drier medium overall , and lower room temps . True sativa plant, thin leaves, big internodals spacing and she won't stop stretching.. 😪 I'm sure that if she keeps that up, she'll be towering over the other ladies. i'll have to raise the lights and raise my other ladies so that they're not too far from the lights. I've already moved her to the back where the tallest girls are, that way i want incline the lights a bit for better light distribution. Pictures taken on day 20, I did a light defoliation on the bottom, taking out all that growth that won't receive enough light penetration. Watering every other day like always.. Day 84-91 (Day 3F-10F) (Day 6F) I’m giving a final foliar spray of Velokelp tonight before I start to see buds develop. Forgot to water today as I didn’t have any RO and bbb#1 was slumped and droopy. I decided to just water everything with tap water. I’ve been doing quite a bit of research on using city tap water with organics and it shouldn’t disturb the microbiology very much at all. And it will actually help smokability and ash color because of the extra CaCO3 in it. The higher 7.8 pH will also lockout heavy metals like aluminum as well. (Day 7F) Plants look just fine and the pH fluctuation didn’t make any difference at all. I’m going to discontinue the use of RO water for the rest of my run and all subsequent runs. (Day 8F) I’m defoliating small amounts of leaves and sucker branches but this thing is out of control. Every 12-18 hours I see noticeable growth. I want to do a heavy strip around day 21. Starting to see budlets and pistil clumps form! These plants don’t seem like huge stretchers but I’m still anticipating quite a jump in the next few weeks. (Day 10F) Everything is looking just perfect. I’m surprised how fast these 10 gallon pots are drying out now. They go from soaked to light and airy within a few days. Hopefully I can make it the next 2 weeks without seeing any N or Mg deficiencies.

Dosido is dancing her way to new heights. She is 14 inches which means she grew 6 inches this week. @RoyalQueenSeeds says, "In the garden, Do-Si-Dos Auto seeds grow into slightly taller plants of around 140cm"--which is 55 inches. Time will tell but we are well on our way to reaching new heights. Miss Dosido is also dancing her way to a lot of undergrowth. Lots of growth is taking place. Flowering time is said to be between 7-8 weeks. So we are right on target. Because it has been so hot in this area, Miss Dosido is getting 1 gallon of nutrients per day. I have a pool umbrella up to protect her from the direct sunlight, but the heat is real here. Dancing is described as good for the soul so dance on Miss Dodido! It's Day O2 For my 2 Kombucha Cream and Day 1 for my Snow White and SpliffStrawberry

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

Notably, some leaves in the lower canopy are beginning to wilt, a process I view as normal age-related defoliation. It's a natural part of the lifecycle, as the plant focuses her energy on the swelling buds. In our efforts to optimize her environment, the GCX 9 lighting is now set to 100% flower spectrum and 75% veg spectrum. I'm carefully pushing the limits to provide maximum light without imposing stress or damage to our plant. This stage requires a delicate balance, pushing for maximum growth while maintaining the health and well-being of the plant. I As we watch the buds swell and smell the sweet lemon fragrance developing, it's a moment to reflect on the journey thus far and the growth we've fostered together. WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started.
