📅 Week 13 | Days 92–98 📅 🌼🌸🌺 Flowering Phase 🌼🌸🌺 Day 98 🌞 – Apple & Bananas 🔸 Apple & Bananas continues to progress nicely, although the buds are still relatively small compared to the other plants. They’ve become noticeably denser since last week and are now showing an impressive amount of resin production. Trichomes are mostly milky at this stage, with a few still clear . Everything seems to be on track timing-wise. 🔸 The smell is starting to evolve in a very interesting way – somewhat sweet and sour, hard to describe, but definitely more complex and pronounced than before. Very promising. 🔸 Humidity is still on the high side (currently 63%), but it has improved compared to last week. Today, I finally turned on the dehumidifier and cranked all clip fans to full power. RH is now maintained at a more stable 50–60%, which I'm happy with. The dehumidifier does increase temps by about 2–3°C, but that’s manageable. 🔸 She’s also drinking significantly less, which lines up with her moving deeper into the late flowering stage. Plants rebounded completely, no deficiencies to be seen. Leaves were twisting from excess blowing air. Positioned fan higher, instantly solved the problem.

Smell is coming on. Showing decent bud growth over first 3 weeks. Final defoliation done recently. Still only using PH balanced water with no additional nutes.

week intel: every thing is amazing girls are ripening , we can now cause more e.c stress than before because: 1-plants are very mature now and can handle stress 2- at this week its the only stress that is helpful for increasing plant resins stresses : E.C stress around 1.6 and 1.7 3 times a week feeding: i replaced B-52 with Bloom Base Nutrient i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them high dose of Top-Max + Bloom Base Nutrient around 877 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause stress . day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : last weeks are time of ripening , and the only helpful stress is e.c stress at this moment

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

Buds are forming nicely , all hairs are still white and all the flowers are showing trichomes.

First week of my first grow! The weeks leading to this were filled with hours of research from every source I could find. I still wake up and start reading or looking at diaries. I’m growing in a 4x4 tent in an insulated but not heated garage. I have a small heater in the tent connected to an Inkbird temp controller set to kick on at 70 degrees and turn off at 80. This sucks a lot of humidity from the tent. I have 2 humidifiers running to combat this and it stays around 45% RH on average; getting higher than that has proved quite the challenge. I’ve admired quite a few diaries on here and I hope everyone enjoys my rookie season.

One of the plants turned out to be male. Another one turned out to be herma. I don't think it was my fault, there was probably something wrong with the seeds. I took them both out of the cabin. We continue on our way with the remaining two plants. It was a stressful week.

Hey there growers!! Sorry for skipping flower so bad.. here are some videos of the ninth and tenth week. No excuses, but someone stole from me back then and I didn't feel like making videos for a couple of weeks. But the experience went on, the female plant reversed and it's pollinating itself with my help like you see in the videos. Sorry again for the Spanish audio 😅

Moved to tent and topped with some low stress training as well nothing crazy so far just waiting for the bottom nods to stretch out for more training. Feeding is just Ro water ph'd between 6.5 to 7.0. Will feed nutrients if I see a deficiency so maybe in 2 weeks.

Getting big

Weekly update on these wonderful girls. They've progressed beautifully, especially considering the day time temps have been in the mid 90's. Not seeing any signs of deficiencies and spraying once a week of either Athena's IPM and stack or PureCrop1 for pest management. So far since being transplanted they've only been fed well water. I'll probably start some Grow A & B nutes and calmag this week. All in all Happy Growing
