Day 35 and everything looks freaking great. I'm still struggling with the aphids though. They keep being tricky. They started hiding under leaves now. Before they were hiding on the stems and the stems have been clear. Anyways these plants are great. I want them to finish building seeds so that I can harvest and clean the tent and get rid of them already

She started germination Monday 14/10/2019 straight into the soil, after 3 days she turned into a little sprout. 23/10/2019 - Struggling a bit to maintain good veg RH (55-65), currently between 45-50, humidifier on the way. PH was also to high about 7.5-8.0, already fix it to 6.5, with a drop of lemon juice. 24/10/2019 - Noticed little flies on the tent, going to add sticky trap.

Greetings This week I switched to 12/12, switched to the base for flowering

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Thank Christ for some new stash diversity: 1:! Many, many thanks to all those who cared to comment, suggest or converse on this one. It’s been a pleasure hearing from everyone and I did what I could to keep ‘er interesting : 1:. Next up will be a couple autos on RDWC before the summer outdoor season (and a significant indoor upgrade) is upon us. Explosive week of growth! These ladies more than doubled in size in just one week!! The Blue dream matic is starting to show pre-flower right on schedule. These photos were taken on day 27. Coco loco by Bush doctor is absolurelltely, positively, THE TRUTH! no nutrients added, and these girls are absolutely beautiful lush green. Already building heavy stalks! Just LOVING the T5 VEG lights!! Absolutely CANNOT wait to see how these beautiful birches rip under the HID lights! Still no training. Which is completely out of the normal for me. I train ALL of my autos. I believe I have decided to try them straight ul this run, under intense light. I will use only very light LST and defoliation toward flower. Both of these strains can be finicky about stress, so were gonna go very low stress but high attention on this grow. (Leaf tucking and defoliation) Also, check out my Gorilla Glue #4 grow that I have running simultaneously. Employing the same tactics on those. One strain will go under 1000 watt hps.. The other strain will go under a brand new HLG 650R.

she's seems happy going into flower.

This baby started stretching, getting ready to start stacking up nugs. It has a very skunks smell already. Looking very healthy, going to cut back on nutes and make sure my tent is dry with no humidity.

Germinated 2 seeds had 50% success [still hoping the other pops up] chocolope #1 doing very well. They are in a 2'×2'×4' grow tent which they will spend rest of their lives as I'm trying my hands at cannabonsai. [Pretty calming] Lights are lowered close to dome to reduce stretch. Let me know what u think

Plant seems to like the support i was off for a week ot two but dozed them with 1 ml nutes and 1 ml greens of (city greens) concentrated in 1 lt water plant seems ready to flower now as the growth is tending towards the stems and they have started to turn more purple 🔥 please comment

10/12 begin week 6 start of flowering do some lst and defoliation hoping doing right 11/12 dont know if my Light is enough so i buy i mars hydro 1000 to be sur they have what they need

Final weeks..

Pics taken on day 36. Some, if not most of these are lightly seeded, I've checked for herms but cant find no nuts. Sucks but from what I've read and people I've talked to seems like it wont be too big of a deal in the end, some old school growers even prefer lightly seeded nugget, I've never tried it intentionally. The green buzz nutes are working well. I'm almost out of the more PK so I had to add herculean harvest liquid bonemeal to get the ppm where i want it while trying to conserve the Gbl to last the rest of the run. Didnt have the lady to take my pics today so I was limited and had to take them lefty one handed and was shakey af. #1 is killin it, havnt found seeds in her, stinks like citrus skunk #2 is fattening up I defoliated a little for space. Also smells citrus #3 was the runt but now shes lookin pretty good very solid structure heavy resin

Day 2 - begin flushing

Major issues with calcium def for no reason and a weird re veg, and the utter lack of mould resistance. Plant was tall and buds are huge and dense, let's hope the taste is phenomenal.
