🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. What you get instead is: • speed • control over height • uniform canopy • faster turnover But also: • smaller overall plant size • less room for recovery from stress • everything happens quicker, so mistakes show faster It’s a different rhythm — not better, not worse — just a different way to grow. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Looking ahead: You should expect: • pistils continuing to multiply • buds starting to stack and swell more aggressively • resin production increasing noticeably • aromas becoming stronger and more defined What not to expect (yet): • no major calyx swelling peak yet • no heavy pistil browning yet • no final density — we’re still building We’re still in that “construction phase”, not the finishing stage. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude As always — thank you. A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. This week i need to change the reservoir again, the plants drink solution just as I add fresh water the EC stays at 2.7 and i need to add PK and Calmag so that's why. The weather outside is very cold this whole week around -18 degree Celsius at night...this made my reservoir water go under 15 degree Celsius. Since i ran the Spider Farmer UV lights i noticed some purples on my cannabis plants i think it's their doing....i run it now for two weeks the UVs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE 7000 is hanged at 28 cm. over the canopy and runs at 520W. 420Fastbuds FBT2309/Week 4 What up everyone. Hope all are well. Weekly update on these two gorgeous girls. This past week has been fun doing a major defoliation taking off most the bigger fan leafs. Hard to tell a few days later I took anything off. Which is amazing they never skipped a beat. No big issue's and since sprouted have grown phenomenal being relatively easy. All in all Happy Growing.

6/7 - Day 78/Day 38 Flower Lower leaves continue to show signs of a deficiency but haven't been able to pinpoint what is causing it. I watered with a gallon of distilled water today in order to induce runoff. I got the following readings: - pH: 6.3 - PPM: 1530 - EC: 3.1 My PPM reading is about 120 less than last week which tells me that my girl is still feeding but not nearly at the rate that I would have anticipated this late in flower. I'm going to hold off on supplementing with any additional nutrients until I get down to 1200. Given how much time is left in flower (3 weeks), I doubt I'll hit that threshold before my flush. Going to continue just watering and watching pH. I've noticed that the smell has started to dissipate a bit over the last few weeks. I've had a stint of a few hot days where the tent was registering temps in the 90s. I'm hoping that I didn't compromise my terpene production. Only time will tell. 6/12 - Day 83/Day 43 Flower Starting to see signs that my leaves are entering the fade so decided to take a peak at my trichomes to see how close I am to harvest. I'd estimate the ratio of clear to cloudy trichomes to be at about 60% to 40%. Seeing a few amber heads but they are few and far between. Forgive the potato quality of the trichome pics - need to work on my photo technique. Based on the guidance from ILGM, the flowering period is expected to last 9 weeks and I'm right at the tail end of week 6. Given my current progress and how my trichs are looking, I'd expect that I'll be in a position to do a final flush next weekend. I'm going to hold off on feeding any further nutrients from here on out so that I can reduce my PPM count and have my girl ride out the remaining nutes in the soil. Based on my readings from early in the week, seems like there is still plenty of food in the medium. On a positive note, I noticed that the smell returned last night! Assuming I corrected the problem that cause the smell to dissipate over the last couple weeks - I am looking forward to a pungent yield in a couple weeks!

Good week for this tent, everything looks good, seeing decent growth on these two girls. Look at those beautiful pistils! also notice they are almost as big as GB1 Im pushing this tent into Bloom in 9 days, nervous but excited. I fed them today, and I used tap water so let's see how this goes. my tap water tested at 8.0 PH after adding nutes it went down to 6.9/7 Which for me is high but i'm just going to trust my gut. I have been buying RO and distilled and i'm tired of having to pick up some jugs every few days. I'm pretty happy about this tent and excited to see how they transition. 👽 FEB6- switched timer on lights to 16/8 to ease the transition of 12/12. FEB10 UPDATE- girls look good, happy, switching to flower once I know if GB1 is female or not, hopefully everyone will enjoy the next life stage!!! check video for update!

Few days into flowering and the lower internal nodes are already stretching up through the trellis. Hope they keep stretching for another week before they start bulking up.

So This week was the same as the last really, It seems all I have to do is sit back and watch these ladies do their thing! Ive not gone full on with the bloom supplements or PK yet as only 2/5 of the GG are seriously flowering. The other 3/5 GG are now Finally showing some signs of flower and some tops are starting to build and lowers producing more pistils each day! The Stardawgs continue to explode, even some friends who were sceptical about the performance of the Quantum board LED's have been flow away by the results. All of the buds seem to be building dramatically top to bottom which no shortage of frost! Macro shots on the way!!

Great week, weather is a lot better compared to last month so i hope it stays like this, currently we have around 28 C°, i also placed her into a 7 liter pot.

Plant is absolutely pumping. A total monster! I did some light defoliation of inside leaves. Split the main stalk about 4 cm at the top manifold while doing this. Tied it back together.
