This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. 420 Fastbuds Week 6 Gorilla Zkittlez Auto What up grow fam. These two girls are growing absolutely amazing. Very easy to grow up to this point. I did add 1tsp of each of General Hydroponics 3 part flora series to give them an added boost if needed. The colors they're starting to show on the leafs and flowers are mesmerizing. Starting to give off a smell so one could only hope it gets better from here on out. All in all Happy Growing.

Well am happy with the outcome and the way I grew it. I might do things slightly different next time. Be more proactive instead of reactive. 4.65 oz was the total weight (dried + trimmed) Smoked a little already before curing and was such a smooth and clean hit. No harshness in my throat and it was a clean high but more of a head high. That should change after a few weeks of curing in jars but nonetheless a comfortable high!

Topped them again this week (except for the OG Kush which is still growing very slowly) and did some more defoliation. Also, I installed a scrog net; it's not fixed very well but I think it will do for now.. I'm gonna be away for almost two weeks now, I hope nothing goes wrong, the AutoPot system should take care of everything. Dear friends, cultivating this strain has been quite an adventure, and also an incredibly enjoyable growing experience! Having desired to grow this strain for some time, I finally had the opportunity to explore its potential and see what I could achieve with it. Deluxe sugar cane was amazing to grow from beginning to end. It’s an easy plant that recovers well. The smell gets strong after 2 weeks of cure. One of the best grows I’ve ever done.

The ladies are starting to stretch and flower. We also did a defoliation and lollipop session at the end of week 2 flower. Canopy and bud sites look good and are a plenty. Looking forward to next couple of weeks.

The plants have continued to grow very fast this week, easily doubling in size again. I moved them closer to the light to 80 cm from 90cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I fed some Biobizz Biogrow and some organic teas this week. Low stress training was very effective and the plant responded well except one which stated quite short. I will see if it bounces back or it may be stunted.

So another relatively quiet week for Cotton Candy Kush this week. Some minor LST adjustments as she grew, but she has recovered extremely well from her topping and is growing nicely. I love watching the time lapse seeing her leaves constantly changing position depending on the light cycle. I am not 100% sure why the one root grew sideways. I wonder if during one of my photo shoots if something got caught when I was putting her back in the pot. Its been this way for a while, and causing no issue so not overly worries. Once she gets into the Bloom tent, it will be even less of a concern. Not much change in height as I have been LSTing her, but I am good with that. Upcoming Plans - I expect with her growth to be topping her very soon again.

I'm loving this strain so far she is very short in stature and takes to training very well the structure I'm liking ...she was bent around some more this week and recovered very well. The girl will be continued with the trading for at least another 4 weeks before the flip over to flower . I'm getting excited to see how she will look in another week just such good genetics ...cheers fam

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony.
