02/24/25 - Short Facts: - Plant is looking horrible, quite many leaves have necrosis -- had to cut many off - VPD increased to 1.2, but I can only get it up to 1.1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, what is there to say? I haven't had as much time lately, so I haven’t been keeping a close eye on the plants in general—especially on the 1:Walt. But a few weeks ago, I noticed that something was wrong and concluded that it had to be a sulfur deficiency. So I bought Epsom salt, which contains both sulfur and a lot of magnesium. And here was my first mistake: I misdiagnosed the deficiency. My next mistake was using way too much Epsom salt—far more than I should have. That was a big mistake, which only made things worse. This is how the plant started to look like, but unfortunately, I caught it too late—like I said, I was quite busy. It was so obvious that something was going wrong. The leaves at the top of the plant looked worse and worse by the day. So I did some research and came to the following conclusions: - I misdiagnosed the problem. It was never a sulfur deficiency but actually a manganese deficiency. The small spots all over the leaves later became necrotic, eventually killing some of them. - By adding too much Epsom salt, I disrupted the balance between calcium and magnesium. This inhibited calcium uptake, leading to the symptoms of a calcium deficiency as well. I bought some "micronutrients" that do contain manganese and I watered it in and also sprayed the foliage. Right now, the plant looks so bad that I don’t know if she’ll be able to finish flowering or if I’ll have to do an emergency harvest. The next big problem is that I won’t be here for about ten days, starting on Wednesday next week. So yeah... not good.

📆 Week 3, 20-26 May 2024 20 May - Increased light power to 60%. 21 May - Cut first 2 true branches off. 22-26 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’ll always cut the the first true branches off any plant I grow. In my experience they just don’t keep up with the plants growth rate in general and only take away from it's overall potential. Week 5 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. All four ladies look happy and healthy with minor deficiency signs. All four are bulking up and frosty as my windows (it's -21 °c)! Day 57: Forgot to get pics when watering. So some pics the next day. Water/Feed day. Each plant got 1 gallon with: 5mL per gallon Alaska 5-1-1 15mL per gallon Alaska 0-10-10 7.5mL GrowMore Seaweed Extract 15mL Blackstrap Molasses Plant 2 also got 1.25mL per gallon of AGT-50 Plant 3 also got 15mL per gallon of Liquid Culture Microbes Plant 4 got both and at the same amounts. I scratched into the soil of each pot 1/2 cup of Happy Frog Fruit and Flower Day 58: Took pictures. Plants are looking good. You can really see the difference in plant 1 compared to the other 3. Very few tops really pushed their way up on plant 1. Day 59: Water/Feed day. Again I didn't get pictures on this day. Cut screen down now as all stems hardened and in place. Had a good shuffle around and as the Dos Si Dos 33 height was taking over the rest ive raised my lights and put the other 3 on top of boxes to raise up more level. Really pleased with everything, had to do a little late trimming as plants are all so bushy but now everything set for them to just grow freely untouched. Starting to fatten up and got plenty of top bud sights fingers crossed in for a good yeild and so far the quality is there. This Purple Punch has come on really well and is showing no issues and looks to be really healthy and strong

These girls although still continuing upwards stretch are very short plants. Hoping they really continue to reach hard. Ran out of potassium silicate. Will be continuing with out it for the rest of the grow.

28/09 Hey folks, Just changed the light schedule to 12/12 yesterday, no signs of response yet. But i think they are looking fine, im gonna flush them in 1/2 days, depending on the soil moisture. I kept doing the LST this week.

It's been a very simple grow cycle for this Mimosa Cake auto. I started with a super soil and eventually started using bottled nutrients to get me to the finish line. It's been almost 100 days since germination and the finish product is a really stout & bushy plant with a dense flower composition. I will dry for 8-10 days at 65-70 degrees F and 55- 60 % relative humidity. After that she gets put in mason jars indefinitely. Advise for growing this strain: - Utilize LST techniques frequently - Stay on top of defoliation, she gets really bushy - She seemed to really like CalMag at full strength in compost extracts Thank you growdiaries.com Thank you growmies for all your advise Thank you Fastbuds
