Hey there growmies! Gothic Remake just released, so there hasn’t really been time to keep a proper diary, folks 😂 Anyway, a lot has changed around my little gal. I had to kick her out of the tent, so she now dwells by the window. I bought her a cheap 50W blue/red spectrum light — around 20 euros — and she seems to like it. Observing the previous weeks, the recovery is something unbelievable. how she got green again.. nice job little lady As you can see, the buds are a bit on the leafy side. I’m not sure if I messed something up along the way, or if it’s just genetics. From what I’ve researched, Mephisto’s Grape, which is in her genes, is often quite leafy. She smells sour, grapey, and sometimes has hints of Hubba Bubba bubble gum. The main bud is huge though — at least for 50W and my “skills” 🤓 I wish you all a super-trooper summer grow 🤞🏻🙏🌱🌱

Its was great to finally grow my own weed , i felt really good and im so happy with the result , my best choice was to get a experienced guy to help me trought the way , it definitely saved me a lot of time and mistakes , thanks to @bengrowerbr instagram . Now i have two headbangers already flowering on my grow , those are not from any seedbank but they are looking great , i will give her a diarie as well , thanks for being here and lets get medicated!

The mixture of "Superguano" and "Microvita" by Top Crop Nutrients in the exact measurements, makes the plants grow incredibly well, strong and healthy, I am in love without a doubt. Now we start with the third week, I am taking photos daily so you can see the growth of them, yesterday Sunday November 17, I made the first irrigation with 1.5 liters of water with 50% of Top Veg, this means 2 ml of nutrient, per 1 liter of water. I did not take pictures today in the morning, but in the afternoon I will upload a video of how they come. Day 134 - We enter the 12th week of flower. I forgot to mention that I gave 2 gallons of water again yesterday, though the runoff seemed to be about half as much as the previous time that I watered. I did topdress with a touch of new Mother Earth Coco Peat, but I wouldn't have imagined it would have soaked up as much additional water as it did. I imagine doing so will give the plants just a touch more nutrients while just watering, and should hopefully allow me to at least get through this week, possibly a touch longer. The trichs all appear cloudy, but the pistils still stand up a bit much, so I want to take this as long as possible, without extending it too much further. Day 135 - Seems that last little top dress of medium has slowed/stopped what seemed to be the start of autumning off. I'm actually kind of happy with that, as it may allow me to get another couple days of finishing out of the plant. While I don't want to wait much longer, I would like to see some more pistils receding/turning color. Day 136 - Watered today, just under 2 gallons. After a couple days of getting lots of runoff, I feel safe that most of the medium will be cleaned of any salt residues that may have been left. At this point, I will basically just water until runoff for the last feed or two. Day 137 - As I wait for these last few days to count down to harvest, I can only think that it is hard to 'plan' a grow before you start. These beans were listed as 8-10 weeks, I started flowering at the beginning of March, and figured by the end of April I should be close to a harvest. Well, as we sit here, close to the end of May, it is finally getting close to that harvest, though at times I feel like I should be waiting multiple more weeks on the plant. Day 138 - I don't have much to say about today. I started a new job tonight, working the overnight shift, so I will end up only getting a couple hours of 'day' time with the plant now in her final days. She will be watered tomorrow when I get home from work. Day 139 - This new job is less than ideal for the flowering times I currently have, but there is minimal (probably 7-10 days) time left before I chop her. Lights are on from 10p-10a, and I work from 10p-6a, not getting home until close to 7. She was watered when I got home today, and so as long as she doesn't fade out too quickly, I will be chopping around the 1st of June. She will approach 90 days of flower time from a listed 56-63 day strain. I have said it many times, but still a waiting game at this point. Day 140 - The 20th week of growing, 12th week of flower is now complete. It appears that the leaves are slowly starting to yellow a bit more. Getting close! She is either going to get harvested this weekend, or next weekend (figure it will just be easier to do when I'm not working).

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! The plants are getting more trichomes every day and the smell is getting stronger—I'm getting more and more excited! Next time I might just do three plants with this setup though, it's getting a bit cramped in here 😄

Week 1 of flower is finally here. Tons of growth! One more foliar application of Chitosal this Saturday. These plants need a thorough cleaning underneath at the two week point to allow flower initiation without stress. I will be watching closely for deficiencies in laughing Buddha and blueberry. With the size of the plants a heavy feed schedule might not satisfy requirements. I see a noticeable increase in the quality of plant growing directly under the Hortilux in comparison to the mars hydro supplemental lighting. I am debating adding flora nectar to my nutrient regiment to help in the flavour profiles. I have recently added terpinator from Rhizoflora to increase resin glands on bud structure. I can’t wait to see flowers develop, am hoping for a heavy yield from laughing Buddha and blueberry

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Started low stress training on June 29th in the first video. Second video is July 1st she grew quite a bit since adjusting the stakes. Really looking forward to her training seeing how big she can get.
