Hey Growers. It’s going great around here. These girls are happy, healthy and growing like mad. They’ve chunked up so much that they’re starting to lay down. It’s just a couple at the moment so I’ll keep an eye on them and see if intervention is needed. The trichomes are so gritty it feels like table salt between your fingers and the Cali has a orange/lemon citrus and woody scent. The Jack is sour skunk and the cookies Kush is a sweet sugary scent. I’m not 100% sure if they’re fox tailing from light stress or just natural Kush characteristics. I’ll be keeping an eye out for hermie’s and stress. I’ve added some Green Planet Rezin, as I think it’s awesome and helps with aroma and makes oily terps. I’m thinking this will be my last top dress and I’ll probably just do half dose and top up with monster bloom for the next couple waters then drop everything except cal and Rezin. Happy Growing 🌱

There are some things that remain memorable in my journey as a grower, and one of them is my encounter with Nectar Drip. This strain stole my heart and will never give it back like all the strains in my top five, but every time it's magical, like falling in love, except I don't feel butterflies, but Wu Tang's Killa Beez. This strain is a unique marvel, one of those one-night stands, because it's a Limited Edition, already sold out after a few days of release, and given its limited nature, it will never be released again. I begged my friends at Zamnesia on my knees, but they're adamant about this: once a Limited Edition is gone, it's gone forever. Think carefully before letting it slip away. Add to this the fact that I've been a hop-hop guy for about 30 years and have also followed the entire Meth journey, and it's incredible to grow a strain named after the albums that drove me crazy when I was 20. It's pure fire for my graying ass. And the best part is that it's not just conceptual fire, but the strain is a marvel like very few on the market, producing wonderful flowers in every way: hardness, density, and weight are unbeatable. Last week I thought that the 50cm distance between the light and the top of the canopy was ok. But this week, I get some signs of light burns on every plants and I decided to put it back to 60cm. This distance seems to work best for this grow. I think the Cashew Kush shows some slight signs of nitrogen deficiency so I added a bit of BioGrow (1ml/l) and hope it will help. For more info about the "Soil people", see week 9. As part of the "Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge" contest, I received a free Tent-X controller, a MBS-TH Humidity/temperature/light sensor and a LMA-14 light control adapter. I requested them on sunday and get them on thursday so it was super fast, thank you @TrolMaster_Europe ! 👌 ------------------------------- Controller + MBS-TH review ------------------------------- The Tent-X controller combined with the MBS-TH sensor provides information about temperature and humidity. The light detector of this sensor is used to trigger the day/night mode of the Tent-X controller but doesn't measure light intensity (you need another sensor for that). I've tried to connect the controller to the phone app and it seemed to work. I will not use this function because it requires to connect the controller to the internet with an Ethernet cable and I don't have an Ethernet plug in my grow room. I set-up a rudimentary fixation system to hang the controller and the sensor since I'm not growing in a tent, but it works haha. Now, I can make my measurement in the center of the canopy instead of making them just above the ground. ---------------------------------------- LMA-14 light control adapter review ---------------------------------------- This adapter allows you to control your light via a RJ45 cable. I'm not using it because my light and my fan are synchronized and my fan cannot be controled by a RJ45 cable. I don't want to have a timer for the fan and a controller for the light. I just use the timer for both. However, Trolmaster sells some plug sockets that can be controled by RJ45 cable so you can control everything with your Tent-X controller.

Seems I told a lie last week, I'm late one day and I've done videos again cos again 🤥 Its been a good week for bud production regardless of a hiccup this week which shows as cal/mag and nitrogen deficiencies throughout each plant🤒 My ph pen malfunctioned and I ended up feeding them all 4.5 and didn't notice till the leaves told me 🍂 The ph pen has been replaced, amendments made to buffer the root zone and fingers are crossed 💉🤞 Super stinky grow this, going to replace my carbon filter before starting a new one because I caught wiffs of them when I entered my home today. If the flavours match the smells in this tent I'm in for a treat come smoke time.👃⛽🍋🍇 Its that magic time in the tent now where each girls really showing their own characteristics, both the purple punches and the zkittlez are different phenos to their siblings so I'm excited to see what they finish up like🏁 So far mostly good 👍 Thanks for reading 📖 One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 12 - Friday 6th Nov: Nutes in today, haven’t really had to do much else, as the girls just seem to be concentrating on fattening up the buds at a nice steady pace. Oh and this week I’ve finally got a hint of a fruity tropical sweet smell from the buds.. It’s truly lush.. My thoughts are now at when to flush the ladies and how many weeks are left? I’d like to time it all perfectly but as this is my first grow now sure exactly how long they have left! Trichomes are still looking clear and pistils are still mostly white but don’t wanna get caught out and miss the best time to harvest and flush.. Keeping a close 👁️.. UPDATE: Day 4 of week 12 - Sunday 8th Nov: Nutes in again and all looking good, except for the girl that got really wilted last week, she’s doing ok but no way near as nicely developed as the other 3 girls. She has one main cola that’s taken off more than all the other colas which I think may be partly due to topping not working as well as is did on the other 3 girls, she still has one really thick stem compared to the other 3. However the wilting did really slow her down on top of that 😞.. Apart from that I’m pretty happy, Christmas 🎄 is coming and it looks like I will have my first ever home grown smoke just in time.. 🙏🏼❤️🌱 UPDATE: Day 7 of week 12 - Wednesday 11th Nov: Nutes in and a small amount of defoliation. Girls weren’t quite ready for a feed yesterday but this morning they were super thirsty and leaves 🍃 were slightly droopy, nothing major but they were all really ready for a drink. Put an extra 18w 2700k LED strip (from an impulse buy at the beginning of my grow journey) in last night to try and boost bud growth. I think my Viparspectra 300w LED alone wasn’t cutting it. I know it’s only a small increase in watts but the extra 2700k flower lighting for the last week weeks of flower can’t be a bad thing right? .. My DLI was 32 before adding the light so I hope this works positively. Looking at the girls at around 10 hrs after adding the additional LED and they look great so let’s see what happens.. ✌️🏼 & ❤️🍃🌱

The Gorilla Cookies FF is now outside. Unfortunately, I overwatered it while it was indoors, which slowed its growth, but it has recovered. We'll see how big it gets. I'll probably repot it again.

Aug.24 and another round of thunderstorms overnight produced more rain and heavy winds but luckily no damage this time around. 👍 Most girls have past the pre-flowering stage and are showing little buds coming in. Still stretching and growing like crazy tho. Gonna have some big momma's to deal with. 😲😥 Last week plants were given a good flush with r/o water @ 6.3 pH to get them ready for the flowering stage.👌 This week started Bloom nutrients by Future Harvest cycle/schedule week #1 August 27 wind storm came through snapping another lower branch from Blue Fire #1. 😢 I hope the stress doesn’t cause her to herm. Aug.29 winds are supposed to reach over 60 km/h today and into Sunday. Let’s hope mother nature isn’t too pissed off 💨 Trainwreck #1 with her 10 big colas👆 are getting very heavy and smells of sweet citrus and pine oh ya💪 Trainwreck #2 is a sativa dominant girl that looks nothing like her sister #1 even tho they came in a 5 pack from Canuk Seeds. Gotta love variety 😋 Aug.30th Super Skunk auto #2 got chopped today after noticing a teeny area of bud rot. 🤔 Main cola is as thick as my fist and weighs just over a pound. 🤘😝🤘

This is the week. I am watching the Tri's and looks like I should see some amber very soon. This will be a low yield but the bud quality will be very HIGH! The Jack's did well on just water and are very sticky. Harvest is near - Then it's off to Vegas Baby! Mid Week Check and due to my time frame I am going to harvest tomorrow evening -- I did harvest both tents. I must say the Green Crack is amazing. The buds are brilliant green, super dense & smell intense! The Jack Skellington's came out very well. The buds are fully developed, super sticky & very strong smell. The trichome's looked ready, mostly cloudy with sprinkles of orange - I can't wait to get these buds jarred up next week & get a final weigh in. I mostly look forward to some killer home grown bud! Super happy with the density of the buds from both tents. Grow Bud Yourself - Grow Bud Yourself ! ...

Well she is making some really cool alien looking buds. Smell is now getting stronger. The buds are swelling the pictures dont really do it justice. I think this will be a good yield in the 2x2 tent. Probably about 2-3 weeks left. No issues so far, had to give an extra feed of the bio amendments. Cant weight to weight this in!

Day 36, 15.05.2024 - The week starts with no real action but to double check the position of the branches within the trellis net. No surprise here, that the manual "rerouting" is getting lesser and lesser. The branches found their spots! - We start the week at 38cm height. I think we look at another week of stretch, but it already feels like slowing down. Day 37, 16.05.2024 - a round of drinks to the ladies: 600ml each inkl. Nutrition according to plan. Next watering might be on the weekend. Day 38, 17.05.2024 No action today besides taking a couple of close-up pictures for documenting things. Both are looking fine. Soil is dry, next watering tomorrow morning. Day 39, 18.05.2024 A round of drinks with nutrition: 600ml each inkl. BioBizz Grow, Bloom and TopMax Day 40, 19.05.2024 No real action today. I pre-rendered the timelapse for the running week (5 days in 1133 Pictures :D ) and noticed: The stretch ended more or less in the end of day 37. You can see it clearly that there is no significant grow since then. So from now on all the nutrients will be used to build up the buds which is I guess a nice milestone! Soil is getting dry again - watering will happen in the morning I guess. Jeez, they are thirsty these days! Day 41, 20.05.2024 Gave the ladies a drink right after sunrise (at least to them) at about 1800. Both look good, nothing much to do I guess. Day 42, 21.05.2024 No action today but to close the week with uploading a timelapse video. Enjoy!
