Welcome to the Week 9 update for the Sweet Seeds Cream Mandarine XL Auto’s. This was an eventful week of the grow as I finally gave up on the first two plants suffering with the majority of the powdery mildew. Instead of wiping a single spot off of a leaf it had progressed to wiping multiple spots off of the majority of leaves. It was becoming super time consuming just trying to keep up with not further contaminating the tent. So after fighting the good fight but realizing it was now a losing battle- I decided to harvest the two smallest plants. They were pulled from the tent right at the end of Week 9 and placed in my garage for 3-5 days before they were actually chopped and trimmed in Week 10. My garage is not heated and the temperatures have been around 0-5 degrees celsius so both plants had some time to “chill out" before harvest. Not only did they reek stronger than ever but also seemed to produce additional resin after being exposed to the cold for a few days. I chose not to weigh the wet trimmed bud as it hasn’t amounted to much but after drying for 7-10 days it’s working out to be approximately 1 mason jar of nuggets per plant. I will provide final weights and better pictures of the bud in my final harvest update. Nothing much has changed for the remaining two plants except for drinking a little less water and the humidity has slowly been decreasing as Canada moves into winter. Day 82 Getting to the end ,maybe 2 weeks 3 max to chop, fattening up nicely, drinking as normal now smells really nice (not sure if it's strong as I'm a bit to nose blind ) to her usual sent 🤣 , will swap nuits again for last week or 2 to a 1 part simple no N finisher , I don't think I'll bother to flush ,will see 😅

This plant is great! There is tons of trichome development and she smells super sweet. There is some yellowing going on but she’s a big plant for a 20 gallon pot so it’s hard to find the right balance of top dressing to keep her happy. But all in all she is looking good and stacking up nicely. 😎🍿🍻🌱

Adding more nutes worked, all plants look happy now 👌 The smell is fruity and crispy already. I will do some yellow leaf defoliation tomorrow.

Just flipped to bloom 😊

The girl grow pst the circumference of the 5 gallon pot. She is steadily growing on the top, fan leaves look thick and bright green. The stem is growing in girth. I fed her some stump tea along with a gallon of feed water at the end of this week. Let's see how she reacts to it. I have been super cautious in increasing her feed. Since she is growing in soil, I waited until she is a month old before loading her with nutrients. Concerns for this week: This plant is getting real bushy, the fan leaves are pretty big. Its gonna b casting plenty shade in a week ot two. Little bit concerned about light distribution to all parts of the plant. The fan leaves are so big, I am not sure how to begin LST on her. Need to read up more on it. Onward and upward!!

Day 70. Looking gorgeous. Day 74. Starting flush

Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

02 October 2018 - Day 99 3rd day of flush and we see her begin to grow nicely. Day 100 - Happy lady as she gets densier and begins to really smell. Day 101 - She is maturing lovely. Day 102 - Orange pistols curl. She is on her way. Day 103 - Mature and ready. has thickened up significantly. Day 104 - Water topped up and pH balanced 5.4 Day 105 - Trimmed after the video.

Day 113. Girls are ok, lanky, i haven't lolitoped them, buts its one of my targets. I dont want big bus, how stupid it wouldnt sound, but if HERMIE part is ok , i dont want to give bud rot easy chance ... Its unavoidable in UK, but i bet a lot on my strategy ;)) They need water a lot, fed them a bit with bat guano, epsom salt and Great White. In an hour rain started, so everything happened on right time ! Still no signs of flowering yet ... Have visited my friends garden and all 3 RQS Royal Cookies + RQS Royal Cookies looks so much better , because of stronger wind and better light, just my friend made few mistakes. Still all alive and going strong ! Happy Growing !!!
