Day 42 β FLO | Mixed SCROG (120Γ80) Box smells unreal β sticky as hell. Buds are packing weight and the trichs are starting to turn milky in spots, but most are still crystal-clear so Iβm letting them cook a bit longer. Canopy is fat, structure solid; loads of resin on every cola β fingers already gluey from checking. Night temps and RH still a pain (cold garage), so Iβm watching for any mold hotspots and keeping airflow moving. Overall super happy with how this mixed run turned out so far.
Quick state:
Lights: 400W HPS + 300W LED (4000K) β plenty of punch.
Media: 20 L smart pots, BioBizz soil + myco, organic feeds (BioBloom, TopMax, Green Sensation).
Training: SCROG, LST/HST done, minimal tweaks now β mostly letting the flowers fatten.
Trichomes: pockets of milky, majority still clear β not chop-ready yet, keep peeping with scope every 2β3 days.
Plant-by-plant notes (position β short ID + what I see)
Back-left β Wedding Cake (Portland)
Very frosty, main colas are dense and sugary. Pistils starting to darken a bit, buds showing early signs of swelling. Trichome coverage is heavy β this one will likely be a resin monster. Watch for the classic sweet/creamy aroma to deepen.
Back-center β Kush Crasher
Properly turning purple and looking gorgeous. Leaves are showing that cool kush coloration and the colas are chunky and stout. Very sticky, strong nose developing (earthy / diesel kush). Keep temps stable so the purple stays and you donβt stress it too hard.
Back-right β AK-47
Shorter, compact nodes but stacking nice little cola clusters. Classic AK structure β not the frostiest but reliable bud density and a punchy terp profile expected. Nice even development under the HPS.
Front-left β Double Krush
Buds forming tight clusters β a little leaner than the gassier strains but foxtailing less and stacking nicely. Shows vigour and is filling in under the canopy. Good candidate for chunky colas if you let it finish a touch longer.
Front-center β Wappa
Main cola is a beast β this oneβs the show-stealer for bulk. Fat, chunky top cola, already showing awesome density and slight color shift. Expect a heavy, compact cola at chop. Loving how the Wappa is responding to your SCROG.
Front-right β Detroit Runtz
Longer, slightly looser colas compared to the others but super resinous. Shows those fruity/runts vibes β buds are coating in trichomes and the structure looks promising for aroma/density trade-off. Might finish a touch sooner or later depending on phenotype, keep an eye on the trichs.
What Iβd do next (short checklist):
Keep scope-checking trichs β pockets of milk = start of the final swell. Most still clear β not ready yet.
Hold off major defol or HST now; only small tidy-up if airflow spot is tight.
Watch RH closely at night β lower if I can (dehumidifier or heater + intake trick). Mold is the enemy at this point.
Last heavy feed flush plan: stay conservative β these look on the edge of finishing, so taper nutrients as trichs go 30β50% milky and pistils darken.

Finally it's time π
The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room.
You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity.
After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62.
After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-).
After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures.
Let's get to the plant π.
First of all I would like to compliment Green House for this genetics.
Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste.
The growth was great from start to finish.
She had no problems at all and also had no problems with animals π.
I'm amazed at the great smell the beautiful buds give offπ.
Of course I cut cuttings and if the taste is as good as the smell it will be grown again βΊοΈ.
A final report comes with the Smoke Report.

Day 29
Growth is very rapid, the plant has become a nice ball shrub from the leaf tucking and training
DWC will get changed tomorrow, she is drinking alot, maybe 2L a day
PH nailed at 6.0, ppms start at 700 and go as low as 500 when about to change the pool
I will be careful with water temperature. It is very cold here already up in the mountains
Day 30
Growth is very nice. The DWC change went very well, and the plant is still loving the above nutrient mix. Remember to mix properly! Micro first, and really stir it in, then your others, stir them in very well, followed by your powder solution, stir it in very well, usually for 2-3 minutes in the bucket or 10L bottle.
I like the shape of the plant Ive trained with basic leaf tucking and defoliation
PH is solid steady at 6.0, yellow colour on the test
Day 31
Growth is extreme in every direction. all limbs are growing upward and outward

this is a very hungry plant!

defoliated the under side of the plant, removed all 1st and 2nd limb node leafs and branches, they will only runt out and grow larf in the long run.
Day 33
Extreme growth after defoliation, added 2.5 Litres to the DWC, the plant is drinking 2-2.5 litres a day

Growing well, performed some light LST on the lower limbs to expand a bit

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 9 Saturday 17th October:
Nutes in today and more LST. Defo running out of space, so LST is proving more tricky and stems are less bendy now and much easier to crease! Iβm tempted to not try too much more teasing of the plant and purely work on light height from here on in.. I donβt wanna mess up all my hard work by trying to force the plants too hard, damage them and stress them out.
Other than that all looking great and pistils coming through lovely π
UPDATE- Day 4 of week 9: Monday 19th October
Nutes in again. Increased the BioBizz Top Max this week to 3ml/l so letβs see how they respond. One girl looks like sheβs a little slower than the others but other than that happy days. Oh and the crease I made in the main stem on one of my ladies last watering, doesnβt seems to have suffered any for it thankfully..
UPDATE: Day 6 of week 9 Wednesday 21st October;
Nutes in and a little defoliation. Have a mild case of thrips, so Iβm concerned about what products to use as Iβm now in the 3rd week of flower and donβt want to spoil the buds or taste.. Argh! Since putting in the dehumidifier temps have soared which is whatβs causing the thrips.. Gonna use the cardboard box method for the dehumidifier to get it out the tent, just need to pickup an aluminium hose and ducting tape. Pretty pissed as Iβve had such a smooth ride up till now. Really donβt wanna spoil my first grow. Thinking some Neem oil may help but worried about spoiling the buds βΉοΈ

As we navigate through week 9, the crescendo of the Watermelon Candy F1 Hybridsβ flowering odyssey is near. Nestled within the verdant grove alongside the Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains, our Watermelon Candy troupe is displaying the telltale signs of impending harvest.
The plants exude a melody of sweetness, with trichomes glistening like morning dew under the subdued glow of the IR lights, revealing a spectacular array of colors not typically seen in the standard lighting spectrum. Despite the compact nature of the buds, which is a result of the 12/12 light cycle they've been flourishing under, the density of these floral clusters cannot be overstatedβlike tiny, aromatic asteroids.
Plant #1 continues its reign with a prolific bud structure that's nothing short of mesmeric. Plants #2 and #3 exhibit a bounty of floral nodes, each one a testament to the bounteous yields that are just a fortnight away. On day 1 the plants are looking good. I confirmed that my one cola was seeded, so I removed all visible seed pods. After this run I will do a deep cleaning to make sure there is no pollen in my grow box. The rest of my plant colas seem fine... I changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. I also dimmed my light to 75% to mimic spring conditions. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir down to 6.1. The plants are looking great besides a few fox tails from too much light. On day 3 the PH in the reservoir is 6.2. On day 4 I diluted my reservoir with plain water to lower the ppm down to 400 ppm, and I adjusted PH to 6.2 . The buds are ripening for sure and smell great! I haven't gotten any autumn colors yet even though I have dimmed my grow light and lowered my night time temps. I hope by 8 weeks the plants will have some more purple tones but if not I'm good with the flower quality thus far :). The breeder says 7-8 weeks so I'm hoping I am close to the finish line. I will continue to monitor the trichomes for ripeness. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.0. I harvested my seeded cola on Pheno #1 as it had stopped growing/ripening and would be a good tester ;) On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. On day 7 the PH is 6.0 50 % pistils have turned amber so I believe I have entered my harvest window and expect to flush and harvest soon:) very excited!

The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured.
1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH,
2) Do a final tight trim
3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks
I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing.
I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

Alright guys, now we're up to date

This gorilla girl XL is slow but developing good, taking her time to grow while it's fully LST, she's redirecting her energy to the other stems and leaves plus main trunk and slowly continues to grow its main stem
We're already on 1900PPM
We've been giving nutes from the very beginning plus bloom to make sure she gets loaded, but certainly lil bit not to mess up too much with her so we already on 1300ppm bloom stuff π
Want to get big yield let's see if we as much as we want

12/09/2022 - 36 days since my little girl sprouted from seedsπ±
The first week of flowering my BCN Power Plant π΄π΄π»
Nutrients:
Jungle Indabox - This week I adjust the dose of nutrients to support flowering and added nutrients - flowering stimulators:
Jungle Urban A: 0.5 ml
Jungle Urban B: 1.5 ml
Jungle Urban M: 1 ml
Flower stimulators:
Jungle Environ X: 1ml
Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy 2 ml
Advanced Nutrients - Bud Ignitor 1 ml
Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud 2ml
Hesi Root Complex - 5ml - last week of adding this nutrient
Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand, I give the same as in vegetation: 0.5ml.
Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering π‘π‘
Training:
LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed πΈπΈ
Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers ππ
The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. The pistils at the ends of the twigs already form white tufts ππ
I can smell a subtle scent of herbs and flowers, but very subtle indeed. I'm already looking forward to the girl smelling the whole room and I can smell all the notes of her aromaπΌ

SUNDAY 5/19:
I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the most advanced Candy Cane x C4 and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" π
MONDAY:
The big one still looks fine after the mega-UVB incident , so she's still sitting in the dark. I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody. She smells more like a C4 than a Candy Cane...a delightful aroma!
The others have just about dried out..I'll probably start flushing a couple of them tomorrow and just water the others.
TUESDAY:
I harvested and wet trimmed CC4 #2 today. She wasn't very big, but her buds are ultra-dense and stinky. I also harvested the big one today(CC4#3) and hung her to dry in the dark tent. I decided to go ahead and flush everybody else today for the first time. I lowered the lights in the big tent several inches and set the light cycle back to 20/4, plus they are still getting hammered by the UVB for 6 hours of the day in 2 x 3-hour intervals.
WEDNESDAY:
I semi-wet-trimmed CC4 #3 and forgot to take photos..will do it when they are dry, prior to weighing and jarring it up.
CC4 #1 was dry today, so I took some photos of the dried buds prior to weighing it and jarring it up. She weighed in at 66 grams after removing the excess lumber. She's very frosty, but her buds are a little bit fluffier than I like.
THURSDAY:
The last several CC4's will be flushed for the second time tomorrow. 2 more of the harvested plants will get weighed and jarred up tomorrow, but the other two will still need another day or two to dry.
FRIDAY:
I decided to wait to flush til tomorrow. I didn't have time today, so I'll weigh and jar up a few plants tomorrow. I just stuck the dry ones into some 2-gallon jars with boost 62's for now. I'm seeing about 20-25% amber trichomes on a few of them. They should be capable of putting me on my ass for a while. I killed the first few with just a couple ambers here and there, and the next two with about 5-10%, so I should have a pretty good sampling from them to know what it has and hasn't to offer. Glad I chose to grow these accidental F1 hybrids...muah hah hah hahhhh...π
SATURDAY:
I flushed the last 4 x CC4's with 3 gallons of ph-adjusted spring water today(and the remaining 4 other plants of different strains...my back is killing me..) and took some photos. Their foliage got pretty burnt from the mega-UVB overexposure incident, so I'll my work cut out for me with the trim..but damnit..they are getting super frosty and stinky!π
I ran out of time, so didn't get around to weighing and jarring the dried plants. So, I just continued the cure in their big jars for the day.
