Week 6

10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.

🗓️ Week 11 – Flower Week 7 (MAC n Cheese only) This week brought a noticeable shift: After raising the input EC to 2.0, runoff EC spiked to 2.2–2.6 – a clear sign of salt saturation in the medium. Despite that, pH remained stable between 6.2–6.3, and no visible signs of overfeeding or nutrient lockout appeared. 🔧 Adjustment planned: Starting next watering, EC will be reduced to 1.6–1.7 to rebalance the substrate and maintain nutrient uptake efficiency. 🌿 Current plant status: MAC n Cheese is looking incredibly strong – healthy, vigorous, and showing no stress despite the high EC in the runoff. Frost production is in full swing now, and the buds are packing on serious weight. 🧀 Visuals & Flower Development: The buds are massive, dense, and coated in a thick frost layer – already resembling little icicles. She’s maturing into something special. ❄️🔥

Day 111. First is ready, second week behind, third maybe even 3 weeks behind .... Plus they are LEAFY ,!!!! Trim jail ... Wet trim for all of them - no doubts !!! Day 115. Still hanging, slowly drying and result should be decent at the end ... A week more I guess, very humid in UK ... Day 118. First trimmed - 175 g. Other is chopped ! One still grows ... Day 136. Chop day for the last one !!! Long run .... Happy Growing !!!

Pulled her at day 55 of flower which is earlier than I expected. I was planning on pushing 70 days but the trichomes on the tops and mids had a good amount of amber on them. Final smell is the most common phenotype - maple syrup and butter smell. Quite strong smelling too. This plant started off very stunted due to the hull of the seed remaining stuck to the cotyledon leaves for around ten days after germination. It deprived the cotyledon leaves of light to photosynthesize and also caused them to warp. Many people would have restarted possibly. The genetic expression on this one ended up being quite wonderful. I’m really excited for when she’s dried up and cured enough to vape some of it in around 2 weeks. I’m super happy with the combo of my soil and blumat. The worms in the soil seem healthy and abundant which seems indicative of really healthy soil.

This one has been the second easiest harvest we ever did (back to the Purple Punch), the plant lost many leaves by herself, still pretty easy. she has a strong flavour and we literally cant wait to smoke her.

🌱 Day 43 - Beginning of the Third Flowering Week 🌱 Hello grow friends! 🌿 Today marks the start of the third week of the flowering phase. This week, I’m trying to adjust my nutrients a bit. I plan to slightly increase BioBizz Grow, as well as BioBizz Bloom, according to the feeding schedule. 🌱💧 I’m continuing to prune and thin out the plants a little each day, aiming to keep them stress-free. ✂️😊 The terpenes and buds are developing wonderfully so far, but I’m still struggling with very high humidity levels. 🌡️💦 Since my grow setup is on the second floor and we’re currently experiencing humid temperatures here in Germany, it’s been a challenge. I’m trying to reduce the humidity from 62% down to 50% during the day, but it’s proving difficult. 🌬️📉 I’ll keep you updated on how things progress! 🌿✨ 🌱 Day 47 - Everything is Going Well 🌱 Watering and Nutrients Today, I watered and fed the plant again. 🌿💧 Each plant received 1 liter, which is about 10% of the pot's volume. The plant is responding well to the nutrients, and growth is steady. Defoliation and Light Exposure I’ve done some light defoliation to ensure that every part of the plant gets proper light exposure. ✂️💡 My goal is to avoid any shadowed areas, allowing the buds to develop fully. Temperature Management The temperature is still quite high, reaching 27-28°C during the day. 🌡️🔥 I’m finding it difficult to bring it down, but the plant seems to be handling it well. To maintain a healthy environment, I keep both the fan and the exhaust system running on the highest setting, ensuring good air circulation. 🌬️🔄 Humidity Control Currently, the humidity is sitting at around 45-50%. 💧 It’s not perfect, but I’m monitoring the plant closely and making adjustments as needed. Careful Defoliation I continue to remove one or two leaves each day to minimize stress on the plant. 🍃🌿 This slow, careful defoliation ensures that the plant stays healthy while making sure all buds have access to light. Guard Dogs on Duty My dogs took a peek into the grow tent today and are now keeping a watchful eye over the plant. 🐕🌱 They’re doing a great job of “guarding” it! 🐾 I hope you enjoyed this update! This week was extremely hot. No heat stress on the girl. I love the progress so far.

🌱 Grow Journal – Week 5 Week 5 of veg, and things are looking better. The plant has clearly shown signs of recovery since last week’s transplant and repot. It’s gained back some strength, which is really good to see. I took off the dome because it felt way too hot underneath. Without it, the environment is much easier for the plant. I also switched on bottom feeding by opening the Autopot valve. Now the nutrient solution wicks up from below, and that seems to have helped a lot. Not an instant boost, more like the steady support it was missing. I think it was slightly under-irrigated before. The plant is now back on track and should return to normal growth over the next weeks. The start was rough, but I’m glad to see it hanging on and gaining vigor again. I also turned on the air pump to run the AirDome at the bottom of the Autopot, giving the roots more oxygen. We’ll keep an eye on how it responds this week. As for conditions, it’s still pretty hot: temps around 25–27 °C, sometimes hitting 30 °C. Humidity stays low, about 50%, not ideal but manageable. That’s it for this week.
