Today is day 23 of flower. So I've been chasing a minor P-K deficiency. The plants are happy and healthy and are just feeding heavy at the moment. Well over and above any recommended servings with respect to the dry amendments and water soluble P-K inputs. As with any grow regardless of what you're using for inputs (organic amendments/salt based bottle feeding/crop salts/etc....) the recommended feed rates are never anything more than a baseline. So to remedy the deficiency I added the Flower 2 at 1.5 times the reccomended dosage (3 grams per liter of water) and a little over twice the dosage of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom dry amendments (250ml per 7 gallon pot). I also fed a mung bean/barley seed sprout tea as well as a compost tea (2/3 of a cup of each seed). The feed rates will stay well above recommended servings for the Flower 2 but the 250ml addition of the 2-8-4 would be considered a large addition for a single serving so I will give the plants 5-7 days to see how they react to dry amendments before top amending again at any rate (you cant burn your plants with organic inputs but you can still suffer nutrient lockout so you need to be mindful and patient when feeding heavy.) On day 19 of flower I did a large pruning/defoliation/lollipopping of the plants. Both from the top of the pot to the bottom of the first layer of trellis removing everything. I also cleaned the plants out from above the first layer of trellis netting to the top of the plant. As I waited to clean up the bottom third of the plants until my typical strip day in flower (day 18-21 depending on strain and flowering times, these are 9 week strains which is why the strip falls in the day 18-21 range, if they were 8 week finishers the leaf strip would take place somewhere between days 14-16). When running multiple layers of trellis netting it's best to prune/lollipop everything below the first layer of netting about 7-10 days before the flip. Odds are your lights wont penetrate that far down the plant so these areas of the plant typically only produce what's commonly known as larf. I'm running new lights so I decided I'd wait until the big strip I always do in flower. This was grower error. I know better and wont make this mistake again. Its unnecessary stress added during flower that could've been prevented. As I decided to wait to clean out the bottoms I didnt prune the plants as aggressively as I normally would (I adopted Grand Master Levels leaf strip practices years ago, check him out on IG or YouTube if you want to see what that looks like). The week went smoothly with no major issues to report. The seasons are changing here so were getting rain, damp wet snow, and have very humid conditions outside. As a result this affects the atmosphere in my grow room but not enough to cause concern. A little less than 6 weeks until the chop!

Well Gsc is very close now the colours are so nice 😍 lots of pink, purple and green 😍 aiming for chop very soon 🤞🏻 skywalker seems to be nearing to the end but I'm sure still putting some weight on so will give 1-2 weeks flush now. Purple kush is packing on some weight now leaves look pretty but also stressed 😬 she's growing and the buds are looking stunning (JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION) so that's a good thing. I would definitely be thinking of adding the bakery seedco Gsc into the seed bank for future grows

Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! Week 12 all of the girls are doing beautiful. They have officially started their transition into this in all reality is their first true transitional week and good stretch after shooting white hairs so looking forward to an explosive week and a half of growth and some delicious puffy first stage of nugget building happening very soon. Very happy with the overall growth of veg this season excited and anxious to find out if bud holds the same

The plants are still alive but due to temperatures below 5 °C there is almost no growth. Hope weather next week will be more sunny and warmer.

Casey's Rollex OG is making good progress. I topped her today, and pruned the root tips. I also removed the first node branches. I left the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th nodes for main branches. She has some big leaves for such a small plant still. Everything is going good. 12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

Added a humidifier and removed the dome lid. They've been underwatered these last days and their size isn't what I would expect at this point. Update: 01/12 --> As you can tell by the look of those roots, they are ready to be transplanted into a 2 gal pot. They are starting to take off, especially the one on the left. I'll be adding Biobizz Root Juice at low doses in next waterings. Looks promising.

My wicking system managed to make it through the week. I was gone, but was showing signs of underwater Ing as soon as I returned from vacation. After inspection, it appears the roots suffocated the medium from the wicking chords which stopped the uptake of water at a substantial enough speed for the plant. I have been top watering since keeping the medium moist And the plants have responded well. Light intensity and nutrients have been ramped so far the plants have responded very well. I will continue to push them on the upper end of safe limits for nutrients and light through to the end of the grow to try to maximize yield. Forbidden Runtz has a garlic type smell, possibly mixed with some BO/armpit. Papaya Cookies is very mild in smell even though it appears more mature so far. Hopefully both continue to thrive under the current conditions.

So Day 60 of 12/12 and the girls are ripening perfectly. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but I think they need a few more days for sunset sherbet and another week or 2 for the Plat. GSC. Obviously the amnesia haze will go for another 3-4 weeks. Hope you guys enjoy the update ✌️🏼

Today is Karen Kush day. Zamnesia has created this crazy strain with truly exceptional aromas and we have tried it. The outside part of this plant is the only thing I can't show you: the smell, guys it's an absolute wonder and it is combined with that fantastic oily effect that resinous plants have, pulensola was all a cream. The plant requires some skills in controlling fertilizers, it is very voracious even of nitrogen at the beginning it discolors, but we know how to look at what the plant tells us and we have always kept it under control with a slightly higher dose of fertilizer than the others. In flowering it also seemed to tend to go into deficiency but Plagron does not allow this, if you use Plagron and you know how to recognize the deficiencies in the initial stage you can forget about seeing yellow leaves before time. Especially in flowering Alga Bloom is perfect for reconstituting a plant with deficiencies then the enzymes, amino acids and many other bio elements present in the additives do the rest. Guys I recommend not to underestimate the additives it is true we can grow even with only the basic fertilizers but the additives give a pimp that you do not expect, I have used a significant series now and I have had immortal results I must say.
