Week 7 (Day 49) – Week 4 of Flower: This little beast may only be 10 inches tall, but she's dripping in trichomes. Every bud site is frosting up heavy, and even the sugar leaves are coated like she got hit with a snowstorm. You can see the resin starting to glisten under the lights — sticky and strong already. No signs of slowing down either. She's staying compact but dense, stacking nicely with solid development. Still feeding bone meal and Morbloom, and she’s taking it like a champ. Smell is starting to punch through the tent walls now — sweet, funky, and loud. She's got that "touch me and your fingers are stuck" vibe going.

This week about day 46 or so I did a heavy defoliation and some branch bending/LST to get more light to the newly forming bud sites as well as to even out the canopy a little more. She is requesting a little more frequent watering about every 2-3 days and I go until I see run off and I let the run off sit for about 8-12 hrs to allow the medium to absorb as much as it wants then dump off the remaining. I am starting to notice a slight smell now that the flowing has started it’s very earthy and kind of like fresh grass. After adding the Dr earth last week I have not seen any more yellowing of my leaves which is a huge relief. At this point I’m going to be as hands off as I can some simple fan leaf tucking and maybe some branch bending to keep the smaller bud sites open to light as they seem to be swallowed up after a day or two and the fan leaves raise back up. I would like to find Dr earth bloom to add as a top dress either this week or next if I can find it just to give it a little more of a boost. I’m trying to keep this grow as organic as possible and probably will continue to be my niche for every grow going forward until I have it perfectly dialed in. I’m not seeing much more of a stretch and assume this plant will be a little stalky girl I’m hoping the main colas fill out decently and I’m hoping by the next grow I have a better light set up that may help my production of bud sites when she flips to flower. I also plan to start a more detailed journal at home that specifies what days into the grow I do what for better accuracy and to improve future grows. More defoiliation. lower half of both plants almost striped. Banana blaze almost finished alot of amber appearing :) 3ish weeks maybe. Así que por lo seguro y porque las temperaturas en Mayo ya se encuentran tirando a lo veraniego, es llegada la hora de empezar a plantear el cambio de ciclo lumínico y tirar de la floración. Si es verdad que pudiéramos arrastrar el ciclo de 18/6 más unas tres semanas y esperar al casi medio medio de crecimiento vegetativo para con eso tener un cultivar con estructura a un grow más foliado, pero la estructura de la planta es quien al final dita las reglas y en una semana, iremos a cambio de luces de 12/12 a la octava semana de vegetativo, para después tener ocho más en mínimo de floración y las 16/17 semanas finales, con la estructura que hemos trabajado con los toppings y con la defolación de lo no necesario y seguramente tendremos una planta épica. Me planteo desde la tercera semana con un olor muy particular y eso es algo que me tiene en atención máxima cuanto a una posible explosión de aromas en la área de grow. Esta temporada ya en una parte de mi apartamento tengo conectado un ozonizador que resulta muy efectivo con los olores y será importante cara a la floración de la amiguita "serpiente enplumada". Después y como podéis ver en las fotos y el vídeo que hice, es muy visible que la estructura para el crecimiento de flores se ha echo con maestría y todo lo sobrante en las partes bajas, no sigue ahí. Así que a lo cierto y con dios Jah en el comando, la próxima semana - o sea- el miércoles 17, y justamente con 8 semanas de vegetativo, cambiaremos el reloj a 12/12 y con eso empieza, oficialmente, la floración. Las espectativas las mejores, la forma de nutrirla y regarla, inmejorable y condiciones óptimas para que a mediados del mes de julio, ya la tengamos con flush y lista a secado y con el secado de verano, tendremos un "fumito de la madre hostia que la parió"...como me encantan las fotodependientes y sobretodo lo que me pone loco de alegria, las ecuaciones donde todo lo que haces en el momento x te sale en previsión en el momento y y al final, la z es sobretodo la calidad de otro nivel que se obtiene...las automáticas son bromas si las comparamos a lo maravilloso que la expresión de las fotodependientes te termina dando. Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This week is going along great... I left Friday the 14th for my brother's cottage... So I matter sure to give her a whole cup of water... Came home to lots of growth!

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Roots are growing in rock wool cube. Only 1 tank have water ( cuttings have already colonize the rock wool on this one ) i'm waiting for better root to add water on the second ( 2-4 days maximum ) Edit 24/01/2019 : - Add First timelapse - End of the Week, everything is going well, both tank have water, i top them to get 4 branch by plant, i'll remove small branch i don't need to keep only the biggest 💪👍

B2 is stacking on some serious weight and continues to grow.. it wild. B1 is forming buds similar to my last run which turned out nice. Excited to try these buds out already. About another month or so until harvest.
