Flowering Week 26: Storm Battles & Resilience Update: 10.09.2025 | Day 187 Hey Growmies, Week 26 decided to throw some serious weather at us – rain almost every day mixed with strong winds. It was enough to blow my African lady right off her socks! Durban Poison took a full tumble under the weight of those wet, dense buds. Lesson learned: never underestimate a sativa in a storm. I reinforced the whole support setup – added more stakes and wired everything firmly to the fence in the back. Blueberry, on the other hand, stood strong like the queen she is – not even a lean. Strain Check · Durban Poison: Took that fall like an absolute champion. Didn’t skip a beat – just kept bulking up like nothing happened. The smell is now coming in strong, and the colors are getting wilder every day. Respect. · Blueberry: Her buds are swelling nicely and the colors keep intensifying. She handled the monsoon rains and wind like it was a gentle breeze. Starting to give off a faint smell – still subtle, but it’s there. Considering we've only just started the second week, she's already showing a lot of color. I think she's going to be something really beautiful. I've noticed that I sometimes forget to post here. 7/6 Plants looked great thos morning. I WATERED A GALLON to the 50 and split one between the two tens. Top of the bags are still moist amd they still have some heft. I'm hoping this will at least carry me 48hrs. These are BIG plants and the wind goes right through those bags and dries them out. I'd rather have that though than worry about overwatering. I noticed some minor deficiencies on a couple plants so it's time to start the nutes. Calcium I'd guess. Just a beginning stage but it's time. Next feeding they'll get some food too. I'll still monitor during the day to make sure they ront dry out. It's amazing how fast they come back after they dry out but it stresses them. EDIT: I WENT OVER AROUND 2OM AND IT WAS OVERCAST AND 83°. ALL THE PLANTS LOOKED GREAT AND ALL OF THEM WERE STILL SLIGHTLY NOIST EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET. THEY ALL HAD SOME HEFT TO THEM TOO. THE SUN IS OUT BRIGHTER NOW BUT IT MAY RAIN TONIGHT AND CONSIDERING HOW GOOD THE PLANTS LOOKED I THINK IVE FOUND MY CORRECT WATERING RATIO. IM NOT GOIMG TO 9VET WATER IN THESE GROW BAGS WITH ALL THIS WIND. I NOTICED SOME FOUR LINED PLANT BUG MARKS ON ONE OF THE LITTLE PLANTS AND REMOVED A FEW LEAVES FROM THAT THIRSTY 10TH PLANET THAT COULD BE SEPTORIA. For at least 45 mins it rained harder than I've EVER seen it. Pure sheet rain. It turned over to heavy rain before moving out. The plan was to water everything this morning and start feeding. As I said in the video the soul was still moist amd the bags still had some heft. Not like I just watered them though. I stopped by a local dispo on my way home and talked with the best grower I personally know (thanks Junior) and his advice was the same as what I was planning. I planned on going around noon to check them. He said I could probably wait until like six and then when I do water give them like a 1 1/2 gallons to make up for that monsoon we had earlier. I showed him the video and explained how I have been watering. My intuition feels good about this. I may go check on them earlier but I don't think it's necessary. As usual I'll update as I go. EDIT: AS SUGGESTED (WELL I SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE) I WENT OVER TO FIND ALL NY PLANTS LOOKING GORGEOUS EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET REVEG THAT WAS A "LITTLE" SAGGY. I LIFTED THEM AND FELT THE SOIL IN THE BAGS. I DECIDED ON WATERING AS PLANNED EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT HAVE MADE IT UNTIL NORNING. THIS WAS MY WATERING DAY ANYWAY. HOWEVER I ONLY WATERED 1 GAL PER 20 1.5 FOR 30 AND .5 FOR 10. I THINK THAT WILL WORK OUT GREAT WITH THE UPCOMING COOLER TEMPS. IT WAS SO HOT. DIDNT HAVE TIME BUT SHIT IS LOOKING GOOD. 7/8 Finally that hot streak has broken. It's in the 70s and it rained a little last night. Had to use an iPhone and send it to me because my phone was dead. My plan worked out great and everything is looking fantastic. We may get some rain tonight but I'll be watching the forecast. I DO need to feed and may do that. I might wait until next week. I also need to figure out what to do about that four lined plant bug. The birds that perch on my cage do a good job getting pests. Knock on wood I haven't seen many. I killed one pillar and there's just that four lined plant bug. That's really the only damage. I'd Hate to spray my girls with a bunch of shit over ONE bug. We shall see and I'll keep this updated. 7/9 Phone was dead this morning. Went back over later and defoliated a little bit. On reveg ive found a few spots that look like it could be septoria. Could be splash up or a million other things too. The birds have been taking care of pillars. I've found two this season which were promptly killed. Everything looked good. We are in much cooler weather now. Still high 70s with at least 90%rh. Could have showers but I need to keep up with my watering. I kept with the increase and watered everything with 2 gallons. With the exception of the 50 and the two 10's the 50 I skipped and each 10 got 1 gallon. Now it's time for a shout out. I get my seeds from North atlantic seed company. They have a sister company @dirtybirdgenetics which produces amazing strains that flourish in Maine. N.A.S.C has always used me good but this will be my first dirty bird grow next year. None of this was necessary but it's greatly appreciated. The hand written note put a huge smile on my face. 7/10 Rained last night. Phone won't charge so I used an iPhone and uploaded some pictures and a video. Plants are looking good but I've noticed "a" leaf with pillar markings. It's time to start feeding. I'm not sure if I'll start tonight or next watering. I'm not really sure. Any deficiencies are minor. I need to check my supply and see what I'm going to use. I'm suprised I haven't seen any wpm (knock on wood) with rh so high and "rolling mists". Happy 7/10 to those that indulge in oil. 7/11 Hurried morning. Watered this morning. I watered the ones that drink more with two gallons and a couple that were heavier got 1.5 gallons and the 10's got about a gallon apiece. I also fed for the first time this year. Plants are still in that transition stage and are starting to stretch. I still have nutes left on hand. I used I tsp grow big, .5 tsp cal mag and 2 tsp big bloom (per gallon) just to see how they react. I mixed two gallons and gave everything a little less than a powerade bottle I think is 1.75 pints. I can tell that some of the leaves aren't as lush green as they were. It's time to start feeding. Probably past time. Next year I'll probably go organic all the way bit this year I'm just going to be doing the same thing I have in years past. If it's not broke don't fix it. I have liquid kool bloom and some other nutes for later on in flowering. I'll be looking at nutes today but I'll probably stick with what I've been using. I also am considering plant doctor for the 10th planet that LOOKS like it may have a small case of septoria and I'm not even sure. It looks like splash back to me but we'll see. No wpm so far though. The birds are really doing great with pest control. I'll still be using BT a little bit later on. 7/12 Plants looked great this morning. I decided that if I treat its going to be with plant doctor. Most plants have hairs so I'm reluctant to use copper. I'm reluctant in general. But the plant that seems to expose a leave or two is a reveg and will be the first one thatci treat. I also went to get nutes and found my grow store turned into a "feed" store. I bought some fresh big bloom as that's all that was available. Then after purchase the cashier explained they still HAD the NUMERIOUS shelves of nutes (pretty much everything) but it took up to much room and was "spilling" the legit are wasting store space on packaged seeds opposed to the high end nutes they are known for. Whatever. I'm doing what my buddy said and to do what I do every year. If its not broke don't fix it. I'm think9ng of treating with plant doctor tomm. Or next watering. EDIT: ONE MORE VIDEO. IF I WAS ABLE TO ID ISOLATE THE PLANT. I GO MYLTIPLE TIMES A DAY AND MAKE SURE THETE IS NO INFECTED GROWTH. LUCKILY (OR POSSIBLY UNLUCKILY AS IT MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO ITS INFECTION) ITS A REVEG SO IT HAS LITERALLY TONS OF FOLIAGE. INSTEAD OF PRUNING IVE JUST REMOVED THE LEAVES THAT A SORE LANDED ON. I CANT WAIT TO WATCH THESE GIRLS FLOWER.

Hello Well, I've finally reached the flowering stage. Today, I'm no longer using Power Zym. This week: 3.5 ml/l Algua Bloom 1 ml/l Green Sensation 1 ml/l Sugar Royal I'm supplementing with one watering this week using 1 ml/L of Power Buds. One watering this week using 2 ml/L of cane molasses. When I use it, I don't add Sugar Royal. Now, I'm letting nature take its course. I wish you all happy growing! She has grown large compared to the other plant in the Athena. They do have a very common bud structure, and smell. I think it was just 2 different phenom types. I switched her to ph water yesterday. I will be harvesting her in roughly a week for the next update. She has a good cloudy trichrome percent with just a few Amber's here, and there. So it's time to finish her up. This week was good, stopped feeding nutes, ro water only, the buds are so solid, nice and thick. Didn’t think this was going to be so big, the 16”x16” fits the growbed perfect, it the plant is a little cramped, a 24”x24” would be perfect, as the branches would be able to droop more and allow more light to some lower growth. However after this I’m using these tents to do smaller scrog plants, which are photos. And I’ll do the auto-flowers in a more open environment.

Zkittlez #1 has been building some nice bud structure and is starting to smell really nice up close. Zkittlez #2 has seemed to stop stretching as much measuring at 3 ft 5 for now can't raise the light an more so hopefully that will be the end of the stretch and time for her to focus on bud structure. There are lots of bud sites building on her too many to count now which is a brilliant thing to say XD. The 2 pineapple chunk photoperiods are still developing nicely in their negative state and have been undergoing L.S.T to keep the canopy low and even. planning to do a 100 day veg on them (hopefully just enough time for both Zkittlez to mature and then harvest) and then FLIP! starting to give all plants a weekly spray of Canna-cure to help prevent any infestations.

Something tried to nibble on Plant B, however there are no signs of pests and no further damage anywhere else (I have 6 other plants in the garden too). Plant A has already begun to develop stipules on its first set of true leaves too! Had their first feed on day 14 (2ml Fish Mix + 0.1ml Mono-silicic Acid), and were fed again on day 16 (2ml Fish Mix, 2ml Bio-Grow, 2ml Bio-Bloom, 0.1ml Mono-Silicic Acid).

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

09/19/2018 All going well buds filling out resin sparkle all over flowers and leaves this plant is destined for my top shelf of slow cured buds can't wait to taste each one and compare to each other,to see if my breeder was as good as I have hoped for. Day 35 Today the plant shows healthy, vigorous vegetative growth. The canopy has filled out noticeably, with several new shoots emerging from the top and sides. The leaves appear a rich green, and the serrated edges are well-defined. The plant is developing tighter node spacing compared to earlier growth stages, giving it a fuller, bushier appearance. The top growth (“new growth tips”) is a lighter green, which is typical for fresh developing foliage. Multiple tops are pushing upward, suggesting the plant has responded to previous growth changes—possibly training or natural branching. The lower leaves appear slightly more mature and darker, while the new growth is soft and fresh. Compared to an earlier stage, the plant clearly looks more structured and defined, with emerging symmetry in its branching. It seems to be entering a phase where vertical and lateral shoots are increasing in number, giving it a more complex canopy.

Day 86, 5th of December 2020: Craziest group I have ever had... Honestly I just want to see the end. I will be away for 2 weeks almost. Original Sensible Seeds ladies are dope. Gelato is very nice proper shape one of my favourite she is just nice and not problematic.... :) Runtz Gum is amazing nice big buds are on the way really nice! The same no problem with her at all!!!! Do-Si-Dos OG is just crazy.... She is not an easy lady... problematic... never met a plant like this one. ... Too much strech and now I need to tie and stand her up somehow i broke one branch.... I put a tape arounf so hopefully saves that bud tho....🤣 Her flowers kill her lol Black Ghost OG is sweet and good girl she is the easiest player from them she is good for begginners similar to Wedding Gelato even is shape haha.... Wedding Gelato from RQS is just perfect no problem with her at all... good for begginners as well... :) So This is how it is 5th week has started I just wanna get it done really long journey :) The lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week.

Hi! Just harvest both plants, left them with all their leaves and whole main branch intact. Just removed the light panels and hanged them on the same tent. I’m using some cardboard to cover the recently watered soil, blumats are still running to support the life on the soil through the next amendment and new plants that will come shortly (after the drying period finishes, about 2 weeks for a slow drying process). That’s it :)
