Grow is coming along well, though the Black Devil is still lagging behind IMO. I think the strain maybe isn't too impressed with being Main-Lined? Either way she's hungry so I gave her some bokashi, clover leaf trim and worm castings. Next week is main dry amendment feeding so the girls will get everything they need. Couple more weeks and the Northern light should make it's way around the entire pot, then if it's tall enough, I'm putting them into flower. Some weird shit on the microscope today; videos above.

Welcome to week 3! The last few plants that weren't topped should be ready fairly soon. Only 2 of the plants have bugs as far as I could tell but all of them will be treated just in case. Insecticide applications will be recorded as ~X. I will apply it as a spray on the foliage and over the top of the soil, the issue is relatively small now so I don't see the need to fully water with it - 07/09/23 7:58pm. The leaves are getting noticeably bigger after topping and supplementing! Haven't seen any more bugs either so far - 07/10/23 7:01pm. I saw a bug or two in some of the pots so I used a little bit more mammoth - 07/11/23 9:20pm. Some of the leaves on the bottom were yellowing and some spots are appearing on some of the more developed leaves as well. I clipped the lower leaves that were yellow, I believe it's most likely calcium deficiency. I added some Pesticide to the water for tonight as the bugs won't go away and I was only doing some spraying on the top soil until now. On the positive side they seem to be overcoming the stress of the topping extremely well and the double stems are growing strong - 07/15/23 8:00pm. ~W - Water ~SW - Supplemented Water ~X - Pesticide

The seed popped after ~48h and was planted directly into her forever home. A 20 litre airpot filled with new 6:1 compost:perlite mix.

So, with my crooked hands, I broke a branch on it, and I only noticed it a few days later :( I hope it recovers soon, the truth is that the girl grows really tall despite the fact that she gets more light than she needs :) but the spaces between the branches speak for themselves. Die wahrscheinlich letzte Woche der 1. Lady beginnt. Die beiden anderen Ladys hängen deutlich zurück aber ich schenke ihnen gerne die zusätzliche Zeit und Pflege. Gedüngt wurde ganz normal nach schema, zusätzlich bekommt meine calmag Lady nun das 2. Mal calmag vielleicht fängt sie sich auch noch. Samstag 15.06.24 Die erste Lady wurde heute geerntet und zum trocknen in den dafür vorbereiten Schrank gehangen, ich entscheide mich hier für die Dry Trim Methode weshalb ich sie noch nicht weiter verarbeitet habe.

Day 52: Light schedule 12/12, 200 ml water per plant per day, one-day bat guano the other day Epson salt as fertilization. Pre flowers out, except Blue Sherbet S1 but she is Sativa so slower than the others. I retrained them tried to separate the side branches. I also removed bigger fan leaves and at the bottom part to have better air flowing and the light can go through more efficiently, plus I changed their current positions so I placed to different corners. All good so far. Day 54: I uploaded video as well. They are so BEAUTIFUUUUUUL❤️ Day 55: Nice... So 24K Gold very bushy and nice lot flowers. Blue Sherbet S1 is slower due to Sativa dominance but it is coming. Fruit Tree the same very nice bushy a lot of flowers. Zkittlez remains small she is the smallest but pre-flowers are nice coming along. The smell is getting stronger. Day 56: They are developing nicely. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Using advanced nutrients 3/4 strength Switched to general hydroponics full strength on day 40. So this strain is also known as Cookie Monster Auto, and although the flowering times is listed as 55-63 days, the only full grow i can find the guy says it took 90 days and he got a huge yield from one plant. These three girls are prolly going to outgrow this tent, but that's not a bad thing :)
