🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 6 From Seed 12/12 From Seed · Transition Into Flower ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — From Seed to Now Skywalker OG has been grown 12/12 from seed from day one. No veg phase, no forced speed — just letting the plant express itself naturally while guiding structure gently. From early life, our approach has been: • Leaf bending instead of topping • Minimal stress, frequent observation • No rush — letting the plant tell us when it’s ready Up until now, all work has focused on: • Building a strong, open frame • Keeping internodes exposed to light • Preparing the plant for flower without shocking it Week 6 from seed marks an important moment: 👉 The transition into flower structure, even if pistils are only just starting to show. This week is less about growth speed — and more about setting the stage. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work & Plant Training (This Week) This week we went a little harder than usual, on purpose. What We Did • Continued leaf bending, but with more intention • Light lollipopping of the lower, shaded growth • Selective defoliation (not a strip-down, not a clean shave) • Introduced plastic clamps to guide branches outward Why We Did It Leaf removal • Improves airflow inside the plant • Reduces humidity pockets • Helps light reach meaningful flower sites • Removes leaves that were blocking, not contributing Lollipopping (light) • Cleans up growth that would never reach the canopy • Helps the plant redirect energy upward • Makes future watering and airflow cleaner Clamps & bending • Opens the plant instead of stacking it • Creates multiple dominant tops • Avoids cutting or topping stress • Allows gradual correction instead of forcing angles We don’t see this as “defoliation” in the aggressive sense. We see it as guidance and clarification. Nothing here is done in one session or out of frustration. Everything is done slowly, plant by plant, read by feel. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (based on plant height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm As outside temperatures remain cooler, the room itself has naturally become its own heat source: • More plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added This allowed us to stabilize the environment without forcing heaters or extremes, which is exactly how we like to work. Airflow • Vortex extraction • Cross-winds with multiple fans • Constant, gentle movement across the canopy No leaf flutter chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning to 6.0+ from now on) From this point forward: 👉 All feedings will be pH 6.0 and above Why Higher pH Now? As plants enter flowering, their nutrient priorities shift. A slightly higher pH improves availability of key elements needed for: • Flower initiation • Structural development • Energy transfer Nutrient Changes • ✅ Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml/L • ❌ Removed: Terra Grow Simple, clean transition — no stacking, no panic feeding. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Expect: • Stretch continuation • Tops adjusting to new light exposure • Faster response at exposed nodes • More visible flower initiation Do NOT expect: • Immediate bud stacking • Explosive flower size • Perfect symmetry overnight This week is about positioning, not payoff. Началась новая неделя растение стоит на ripen и чувствует себя хорошо активно пьет , а цветки становятся все более липкими я решил не срезать его в субботу подержу еще пол недели на Ripen и пол недели на воде куст вырос больше среднего размера , такой из палатки вытащить не просто но Harvest уже близок Всем удачи!

Will feed the plants one week after the first watering. ~Week 4~ * Drying period before waterings. * temps : 20 - 29c°.🔅 *HR : 55% - 70%. 💦 * Lights 20/24h/day. off --> (12:00-14:00) & (00:00-02:00) *No defficients or problems this week, even the stunted Stomper starting to develop.

Week 6 of flower! Coming into the final stretch and thankfully this catches me up to the present with this journal. All the girl's are really getting thirsty faster and I've upped their daily to 1gl each with half doses of CalMag+ and PH'd to 6.3. I'll be changing PH to 6.5 for the last 3 weeks of flower to help with their autuming off. The WW is getting so resinous it's ridiculous. Keeping nighttime temps @ 60F and mid 70's during the day with 4 hours of enhanced UV via the HLG UV bar. Supposed to help with tricome and terpene production....we'll see!

Variété parfaite pour les débutants. Les plantes sont très résistantes aux chocs de température et d'humidité. Elles donnent des rendements satisfaisants et un goût agréable. La runtz a une odeur très sucrée, presque comme un gâteau, je n'avais jamais senti une plante avec une odeur pareille, c'est très agréable. Les plants étaient tous petit, 50 centimètres environ, et n'avaient pas beaucoup d'odeur pendant la floraison, c'est parfait si vous voulez être discret. Concernant les effets, on voit bien que c'est une souche 50% sativa 50% indica. Au début les effets sont euphorisants, elle provoque des rires, mais par la suite et donne un bon effet analgésique, parfait pour aller dormir, je n'ai pas trop de flow de pensé avec et c'est très agréable pour se détendre. J'ai obtenu 34g et 45g sachant que j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes.

This haze is super sugary, has a piney pungent smell and vapor is thick and flavorful and smooth. This plant had a smaller LED light for most of its life until week 8 when it was put under the 400watt HPS which may account for why its yielded so much less then her tent mate. Very nice uplifting and psychoactive heady effects. Lessons learned for me this grow are; use smaller pots & monitoring run-off and water enough for run off is important for soil to not get salt build up. I learned a lot in this grow and am so much more confident and ready for my next grow which should be coming pretty soon! Thanks to everyone thats been following along and checking in - it's been fun tracking my grow and recording my progress.

Did a strong build a bloom, seabird guano, and recharge tea. Brewed 48 hours. Added some rain water to make about 3 gallons and each plant got 3L in there 3 gallon pots. Smell is super fruity and sour. Almost like a lemon hard candy with a hint of piney fresh earthy tone. Starting to stack 🤙🏻 I got the light at around 20 inches level 8 setting. They getting around 1000 par all around. Really diggen the new mammoth light with the green diodes added in. Supposed to help with penetration. Probably give them their last top dress in the next week and coast to the finish. I normally use 5 gallon pots so still trying to dial in 3 gallon. If I don’t have any deficiencies I’ll probably stick with 3 gallon pots from here on out. 2 gallons to water every few days is a lot easier than 3-4 gallons. Night time temps falling to 58-60 the last few nights. Probably a tad to cold but was watching a mrgrowit video and this guy was saying he flowers in 69 degree light on and terp production and preservation is optimal so going to enjoy the winter months before I have to worry about an 80 degree tent and fighting the heat.

I don't think I'm going to grow autoflowers for a while. I think I have much more control over photos and they are much more potent.

week 6-7

This week the grow 40x40x130 and A LED quantum board 150W arrived. About the plant: The plant showed a deficiency as we can see in photo 1. With that I applied an NPK 10-10-10 watering and we can see the development in photos 2, 3 and 4.

5/25: It rained again today for most of the day, but I managed to get back out there and take some photos after it let up. I also shot a short video early in the a.m while it was sprinkling and the lights were on... I heard that this strain flowers really fast, but I really don't think she can finish before June 21 (the summer solstice). The other two seedlings (FFT#6 and FFT#7) are in the same boat. The 5 clones outdoors might be able to finish before they get the signal to reveg. I may end up bringing as many of them as I can fit into my closet to finish and starting another batch of beans to grow outdoors this summer... 5/26 - 5/31: I did some training on her early in the week between rain showers, and foliar fed with Microlife maximum bloom formula. She's more than 36" across now... She was looking a little N deficient, so I assume the dry amendments have petered out. I top-fed her with another couple tablespoons of cavern culture and on the 31st, they were dry enough to feed them. I gave them big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, silica, endoboost, signal, humic acid, liquid kelp/fish emulsion, and liquid molasses. It just feels so strange that I'll be harvesting outdoor photos in June!?! That's it for week 8-
