13/06/25 - Gorilla cookies all sprouted. Little did I know the headache I would have from now on stunting plants and going down the rabbithole of trying to fix everything at the same time instead of taking a step back checking my carbon filter wasnt blocked until 07/08/25 😭

Flower Week Four! Buds are developing nicely. Both girls have sets of 9 on leaves towards the top!

7/1: This plant has been extremely fun to watch do its thing over the last few weeks. Those little mistakes I made or neglected in my first grow have significantly helped me get off on the right foot this time around. Not to mention, I feel that the plant/genetics is fairly low maintenance. As I mentioned at the end of last week's entry, I started a little LST on the lower most node. Today, I have added landscaping staples to the second lowest node to allow it to stretch out and get more light from under the quickly growing top canopy. In addition to starting LST on the second lowest node, I did bring the light down to 16 inches above canopy at 60% power. This gives me a PPFD reading of roughly 750, which could be inaccurate due to using the phone app, but it still gives me a good idea of how much I should bump light power up each time. 7/3: Today was a big day for the Mrs. Gorilla Cookie. I decided it was time to add in a bit more soil as well as some amendments. I added 3tbsp of Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 and 1tbsp Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4. I then reapplied the landscaping staples to continue LST. The plants seem to be responding well to the light increase that I applied on 7/1. At the time, I was worried it would be too much, but the plant is really soaking it up and praying toward the light. I may increase the light a bit more at the end of the week. In addition, I plan to try out a self watering base toward the end of the week. I will going out of town soon for the remainder of July and need to test the base before I leave. I do have buddies that will help, but I would like things to be as easy as possible for them. I also hear great things on these self watering bases and if it works out will, I will definitely incorporate them into future grows. 7/6: The end of week 4 has come and this plant is really starting to kick into high gear. I do think adding in the bloom amendments really helped. Great, speedy growth, and looking green and healthy. Pistils have started to form and she's definitely starting to get a little stank. The lights are still at 60% but due to the constant growth the canopy raised causing the light to be 12 inches close and PPFD up to 950. I did notice a tiny bit of tacoing so I lifted the light a couple inches. I am now trying to keep them at a constant 14 inches above the canopy with a PPFD of around 850. I will likely hold off on adjusting the brightness for another few days, as I am liking the results I'm seeing. I started the plant on her self-watering base yesterday when I would have usually given it a feeding. Its only been a day, so its too soon to tell just how well its working, but the soil seems to be at a perfect moisture at all times. I did feed a little from the top today to help some of the nutrients that may still be at the top work its way into the pot. Overall, solid week. This grow is already shaping up to exceed my expectations and I feel pretty good about making it through the Veg stage in one piece. On to the flowering stage! GG day 46 y 47 and LH day 38 23/4/2020 : Lemon haze y la GG con LST estan muy resinosas, la que tiene corte apical no tanto, se nota el estrés y un poco el exceso de nutrientes porque come menos que su hermana. Solo he regado con agua de lluvia y PH regulado a 6. Ultima semana iluminacion muy inestable (unos dias 10 horas otros 12h otros 20h.... Creo que podre mantenerlo estable en 20 horas hasta el fin, pero controlar la temperatura debajo del HPS las horas que no hay sol se me ha hecho muy complicado... Sigue atento y recuerda que tengo una duda sobre la nutrición de mis niñas en mi pagina !

I think I won't add anymore nutrients to the water, instead I'll just let the plant fade naturally. It should only have another week or two of flower.

Not much has changed on the weather front this week. The nights have remained very cold, and daytime temperatures are maxing out at around 21-22°C. Because of the chill, some of the leaves are starting to show some purple hues. Overall, the plant is doing quite well and isn't showing any signs of nutrient deficiencies, even though she didn't turn out particularly massive and doesn't have gigantic buds. Taking a close look at the trichomes, they are definitely not ready for harvest just yet. Now it's just a waiting game to see how much longer she needs to reach peak ripeness and whether Mother Nature will grant her enough time outdoors before the season finally turns.

Loving the buds on two of the strains I’ve only had black buds one time before, and it was some of the best, but I’ve ever had super excited for this grow🔥💯

2nd day of the week, accidentally brake of the Speedy Chile during LTS. I was relatively lucky that is happen just on top of the 3th node. I decide to keep it and see what I get.

Growing very well, nice colas cover in white, almost finishing 2 week with beastie blumz, starting to create huge looking nugs, really excited about the finish result.

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. I now think the west coast o.g is the nicest looking one in the grow. De nuevo, actualizamos la séptima semana de floración y es que estas skunk están preciosas, es una Indica muy conocida y típica entre nosotros los cultivadores, muy sencilla de cultivar. El ph, la humedad y la temperatura son correctos, zambezaseeds está haciendo muy buen trabajo con sus variedades gente, os lo aseguro que ya son varios los cultivos con ellos. Hasta la semana que viene.

Lots of defoliation this week as mildew continues to spread. I have now found the right balance of H2O2 and water foliar spray. I have also added an additional fan and new fresh air hose.
