We finally got a break from that intense heatwave. The temperatures dropped significantly over the past week, and we even had a few rainy days. Since we are late in flower, I made sure the ladies were sheltered under a roof so they didn’t get hit by the rain directly—mold prevention is the number one priority right now! Even though the ambient humidity was quite high at times, thankfully it didn't stay that way for days on end. Through it all, this gorgeous lady is doing incredibly well. Bud & Trichome Update: The buds are packing on weight and looking more mature by the day. I took a close look at the trichomes this week, and the vast majority of them are already milky/cloudy. We are definitely getting into the harvest window, but I’m going to give her just a little bit more time to let those flowers fully swell and reach that perfect peak. Patience is key right now! It was also the last week for Bubblegum, who had some problems at the beginning and therefore took longer than the others. At the beginning of the week, she was given a thorough flush, then left to dry, and at the end of the week, she was given the usual two days of darkness. Despite the difficulties at the start, it was a very good result.

Black Opium has just begun to flower. It has grown quite a lot since last week, and we are looking good overall 👌 Here is what I did this week. 9.8.25 I top dressed this week for the first time for this plant, along with the Pablo Escobar. I planted these at the same time. Here is what I used for the top dressing. I top dressed with the following organic dry amendments; As a base for the dry amendments I used: 🧡 Worm Castings - 1 Cup 🧡 Coco - 1 Cup 🧡 Perlite - 1/2 Cup Dry Amendments: 💚 Ecothrive Life Cycle 1TBS 💚 Ecothrive Bloom 1 TBS 💚 Ecothrive Charge 1TBS 💚 Diatomaceous Earth 1TBS 9.8.25: I watered this in with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; 💜 2ml Trace PH: 6.5 PPM: 336. Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Did some defoliation just to clear the lower side and open it to some air. I was late with the watering on the 18th as you can see in the picture but nothing serious happened. Other than that nothing special this week.

July 31: Another week of warm sunny weather coupled with thunderstorms bringing a decent amount of rain. Flowers are stacking and resin coming on thick developing complex odor. Harvest coming in a couple of weeks.

Week 5 Day 30 Ladys are happy and beginning to stretch, I think trainwreck gonna be the tallest. Cinderella Jack still vegginng, but I think next week she gonna flower. Blue Dream started to flower too, but the broken mainstem stunted her bad. The mainstem are smaller than the sidebranches. Lemon Zkittlez is the strongest till now, she's growed a perfect symmetry with good sidebranches,but we will see hows they're looking in the end. Updates coming 💪🏼 Day 32 Man these girls filling out the tent and they don't even stretched. 6 are definitely to much 😅 Day 33 Did a light defolation just some Future popcorn buds. I dont want to stress them so much cause they are in stretching phase. Trainwreck is the biggest and brightess from the 4 mains. The early LST showing right now. Orange Sherbet gonna be the first one to harvest again I think. She's starting to fill up the buds now. All of the lady's showing signs of stress at the tops. I backed up the lamp and dimmed her back to 60 %. This was Lightstress I think, cause the lady's recovered at the next day. Gonna bring the lamp to 100% at week 2-3 of flower. Day 35 Man the plant growed to big. I haven't enough space for them and they don't even finish. The humidity got a bit to high that's why I defolated all lady's. I hope that don't stunt them to much, cause they were to bushy. We will see how they develop at the end. The next run I gonna go for 4 lady's again.

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

15.07.25. Day 59. Changed reservoir today. Flowers are stacking. It's a waiting game now. Can't wait. Maybe 2 to 3 more weeks.
