Light intensity was increased to around 1000 PPFD under stable conditions.☀️ Temperature stayed at ~25°C with ~50% RH. Both plants remained in their 20L final pots. Watering was done every 2–3 days, based on pot weight, using RO water + CalMag.💧 Additionally, the plants received 1x BioTabs Bio PK during this week. By the end of Week 6, the stretch was basically finished.🌿 Apricot #2 remained the tallest plant in the tent. Apricot #1 stayed more compact but looked overall better structured and more balanced. Bud sites were clearly forming, though still relatively small at this stage. A large number of pistils were visible, showing that the plants had fully transitioned into flower. 🌸 The first trichomes were already noticeable, but aroma was still subtle. Leaf color remained a healthy green, and overall plant health looked stable and strong.

Well into flowering now. She is definitely a more indica phenotype 😭 I must have lucked out first time round with such a Sativa phenotype 😍 I'd love to know more on this side. The likely phenotypes, and how and why they come about. Also what is the likelyhood/prevalence of each of the phenotypes....... So many questions 😂 But anyway, she's looking absolutely fab. Flowers developing well so on she goes a few more weeks! 👌

Her buds have fattened up very nice!!! Almost all her pistols have changed colors and curled in. I hope im not to late, but this week will be her last feeding then good ol plain ph'd water until she is ready to chop. She smells so strong of cookies and cream and gas⛽ she is going to be a decent yielder but an even better smoke!!! Super easy plant to grow. Super stoked with 420 fast buds!!

!! A genetic mutation appears! flower tip look odd and the stem is flat but no weird sprout on it. Only one stem is affected. Some other LST done. CO2 decreased to 1000 for saving some co2. I don't think I have enough power to use all of that CO2. Plant is growing really well. There's only a small concern about some worms at the bottom of the pot. I need to check it further. To be sure anyway I have planned an irrigation with neem Oil just for precaution.

Week 2 (Jan 11 - Jan 17) Giving 2 more seeds a try. This time using the new water-only organic soil found at the hydroponics place where we got the advice to go organic and helped pick out the right materials that didn't break the bank. Fingers crossed, but feeling hopeful.

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. V8, supuestamente hoy haría transplante a los maceteros definitivos, pero, hace 3 días que las plantas están presentando hojas débiles y dobladas hacia abajo, en un principio pensé en que podría ser exceso de agua, pero creo que es exceso de nutrientes, básicamente exceso de nitrógeno, ya que las hojas están con un verde muy oscuro y algunas están presentando manchas color café. Así que hoy les hice lavado de raíz, con agua EC 0, hasta que el drenaje fue de cercano a 4 EC. Esperaré unos días a ver si se recuperan, si no, simplemente las eliminaré y empezaré de nuevo, ojalá se recuperen. V9, al final si era exceso de nutrientes/nitrógeno, menos mal que se recuperaron con el lavado de raíces, pensé que morirían, ahora veré como siguen para decidir si hago transplante hoy mismo. V10, se realizó trasplante a macetas definitivas y un riego suave. Las plantas están todavía en recuperación, esperaré unos días más para empezar el LST. V12, riego. V13, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y LST.

Almost Week 2 is over. She‘s perform very well my dear Paradise Lady 😍😛🙏🏼 First Week Veg i was nearly at 300 PPFD. Some Days later i going up to 400 and that was right Decision. Tomorrow when the Week is over, i started to give them every Hour 5 Minutes UV Light.

Start of another week of flowering being fed every two days. :) been drinking alot these last few days. Stretching fairly nicely along with plenty of bud spots appearing:) 2/23 bud sites are starting to develop now amazing growth these last few days can tell she is doubling her size. 2/28 towards the end of the week tons of buds sites have shown up. Still slowly stretching height wize. Really happy how big she has gotten in these last two weeks amazing :)

As the plants are ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The PBCRbx reflects a flowering time of 60-63 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change between week 7 and week 8 strictly followed GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. Man those ETHOS beans are the bomb. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. That said, and if I had dialed her in from the start, she would have produced even better. Gratitude and thanks to ETHOS!

Aug 1: doing great. Added another scrog net and clipped it to the lower net that is tied off with 500 g weights to gently hold things apart to let sunlight in. I guess I’m aiming for a hemispherical shape because I have two plants in the wagon. Had hail net out for an hour. Brief hard rain but no hail this time.
