Pruning, defoliation and only water for the taste

This is my biggest and healthiest plant I've ever had! I'm so incredibly amazed by Deepwater Culture that I'm thinking about not growing in the ground anymore and instead setting up 6 DWC systems in the tent. Tody i defoliate the plant :)

SO I HAVE THIS MARS HYDRO TSW 2000 24 INCHES FROM FABRIC POTS WITH OCEAN FOREST AND TAP ROOT PLANTED DOWN WITH LIGHT COVER IN A SMALL PILE OF ROOTING SOIL IN EACH POT. HOME ALOT SO WILL KEEP AREA WHERE SEED IS DAMP, WILL CHECK A COUPLE TIMES A DAY AND WATER GENTLY WITH SPRAY BOTTLE. I HAVE THE LIGHT AT 40% SO WONDERING IF ITS A GOOD SET UP OR NOT.

Start of week 5 8/20/25 Flushed with sledge hammer : 8/21/25

So close. I'd say another week maybe 2 and then we harvest. Im going to start checking trichomes tonight. They smell absolutely lovely. My entire house smells if I open that tent for a second. They each have their own distinct aroma and the resin is definitely there. I started feeding unsulphered blackstrap molasses with every watering. Just 1 tablespoon per gallon. New experiment. If anyone has any experience with molasses feel free to drop a comment and we can chat about it. Im interested in trying new things to make the final product better. It's always a learning process in everything we do. Thats the fun of it at least for me anyway. Thanks for checking in!

Day 63 Flower Well we’re coming to the end of the grow cycle. These plants are looking great. They’re starting to get a bit of purpling on the leaves and trichomes are clouding up. I flushed with 7 gallons of plain water with typhoon cleanse. It’s stripped about 300 ppm per gallon, got my runoff down to 110, and probably do an RO flush if I need to push it longer. I am very happy with the stank, quality, density and trichome coverage on these buds. The smell is a ripe sweet lemon with and earthy hazy musk. Could use more lemon but I’m not going to complain. My house is rank and can be smelled outside even with the carbon filter going 24/7. I’m super excited to see how the effect is on this strain. It’s one of my all time favorites and I’m pumped that it has turned out to be quality!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Week 2 of flower for these girls. I decided to use a lesser dose of nutes because I noticed after a few days after my feed last week that there may have been some leaf burn. -I changed up the nutrients a little and also finished putting up my inline fan - pulling fresh air from outside in for CO2. I simply used ducts for it. Now that cooler air is coming in from outside I can slowly turn up my lights to 900 watts, I’ll see how they do in about a day or 2 more and then the lights will switch to 1000watts. -Did some more defoliation. The leaves grow so fast!! Took 2 days to do all my plants lol I’m trying to do it every week or other week -The plants are drinking a lot more than they used to, I’m now feeding water every second day and nutes every second day! They’re growing so fast before my eyes It’s such a cool feeling seeing all my hard work coming along, with the first buds popping up and looking like real weed now. Feeling motivated! 😇

01/04/2023 - 56 days since my baby girl sprouted from a seed The fourth week of flowering of my Mimosa Cake Auto 🎂🍰🥞 Nutrients: Jungle IndoBox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - Carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Bud Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle indaBox Environ x Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud remains unchanged I don't do Bud Ignitor anymore ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and ATAMI is an excellent brand Plants tolerate nutrients well, sometimes a small spot appears on the leaves, but this is not a nutrient burn Training: Trick - only a mild training, I tied a few twigs to the edge of the flower pot with a string so that they don't shade each other 🌞🌞 🌞🌞 Defoliation: I mainly remove the large leaves so they don't damage the flowers and I also cut off the lower leaves. The plant will thus have more power to put energy into the buds 🍃🌸🌸 General: The plant has grown tall, the plant branches are growing symmetrically, they have many flowers, the stems are strong and healthy, the leaves correspond to the age and stage of the plant, only the tips of the leaves are brown. I am wondering what nutrient could be causing this. Hey Growmies, she has bounced back phenomenally, so much that she has gotten extremely hungry. The feed shown here is the already the strong feeding suggestion, but I first saw a few leaves with a nitrogen deficiency, when I decided to up the veg nutes to pre flower levels, I now started to see signs of magnesium deficiency. I decided to add 10 ml more if calmag to the mix and will see if that’ll fix the issue. Other than that, she has started to develop a massive rootball and almost stretched by 12 cm. Will probably veg her for another 2 weeks by the looks of it and then flip her once she has filled the scrog. She is already starting to smell quite strong for her not even being in pre flower. I also want to point people in the direction of the photone app, a very helpful little helper that’ll help you getting a good guess of the ppms at your canopy.
