4/20: I have 3 good clones of the shortie growing, and another FFT6 seedling. 5/1: The seedling is now in a 5 gallon pot outdoors, and 2 of the clones are in my closet getting ready to be transplanted into 5 gallon pots and moved outdoors. One of the FFT6 clones will be grown in my tiny tent. 5/6: I took the last two clones outdoors and fed them really well. I also did some training on the seedling and the clone in my tiny tent. 5/7: I did a foliar application of Axiom Harpin proteins today. 5/9-5/11: Did foliar feeding and lots of training every day. 5/12 - 5/17: Fed the outdoor girls on the 13th, then we had lots of rain all week. The seedling is a beast. Installed a new 200w 3000k waterproof LED over the outdoor plants. The indoor clone looks great. I gave her some water on the 16th. 5/18 - 5/19: The seedling and two clones outdoors are all flowering?!?! I suppose it's because I germ'd and vegged them for a month under 24/0 before taking them outdoors under 14/10 of daylight... I'm really hoping she sees the days getting longer and goes back to vegging. I need time to bush her up really well! I ordered another 200w 3000k waterproof LED to replace the two cool white 60w LED's, so that will be 550w total watts of lighting outdoors in addition to the 5'ish hours of direct sunlight they get at mid-day, and the tree-diffused sunlight they get for the rest of the day. Thinking about trying a product called Bud Bomb...has lots of hormones, cytokinins, and auxins that when applied at the beginning of flowering supposedly causes more lateral branching and less vertical stretch. As it is, I'm spending too much time training her and the other outdoor plants to stay below the eyeline of nosy neighbors, so I'm really considering giving it a shot... 5/20: I went for it and sprayed them with Bud Bomb this morning...hope it works like they claim.. 5/21 - 7/4: The clone i grew in the tiny tent got to move in under the quantum boards for her last 2 weeks and fattened up nicely. I harvested her on 6/28 and washed her buds, then jarred and weighed her on 7/3. She produced 110g of cola and 51g of lower bud...very little of it was larfy.👍 After a few great weeks flowering outdoors, i was invaded by spider mites and grasshoppers. The #6 seed-grown plant didn't make it, but i brought the #6 clone indoors and treated her for spider mites a few times, along with the 2 x #1 clones and the #7 plant. That outdoor clone now in my closet is still flowering as of 7/4, but had her last dose of nutes on 7/3. Flushing in a few days.

Compost tea turned out well and if your curious about the microscopy, check the comments on my GMP grow. No signs of senescence yet so no feed needed, they are in a second run of the same soil so there should be plenty in there from before. Not very resinous or smelly, with weird wide stumpy buds. Definitely my least fav pheno of any plant I've grown so far, but it's the end product we're after so she may yet surprise.

The weather was way better this week then last week. Days are getting shorter and i'll noticed she's getting ready to bloom because she's streching a lot! i'll guess she will show the first blooming signs at the end of this week.

10/8 - Gave Willow her last feeding. Flushing from here on out. 10/9 - began flushing Buffy. It is looking like Willow will go for at least a week longer than Buffy. I am scrambling to figure out an alternative drying space/option. 10/11 - began flushing Willow 10/13 - I am guessing Buffy will be harvested in the next couple days. Willow looks to need another 7-10 days.

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * The ones remaining are MC2 MC3 and MC4, MC6 got tossed but I have a cut to run back. MC2 I have grown many of times and reversed for pollen, MC3 and 4 are new. 3 is almost done I should be chopping that one this week at some point and might be more impressive than 2 it has some serious nugs on it. 4 is also solid but taking a little longer than I would like it might be a 75-80 day finish. Next update I will have some good pics of at least 2 and 3, I am going to wait until I am ready to harvest before I bring 4 into the studio. This week I harvested these two Quebec Black Bud, it was really a great experience. Its unique appearance and these colors charm us from start to finish. Calm in vegetation but surprises us in flowering. I can't wait to see the final product 😇 Harvest : Pheno #1 day 56 flowering 119 total Pheno #2 day 60 flowering 123 total Training : They have received my hand manipulation since day 8 and this every day to force them to grow bigger and stronger until the addition of the scrog. I started my base again on a manifold. For now I'm having fun like that, let's see later 😁 I'll leave you with these beautiful photos and come back to you later. After drying and curing I realize how the color is an intense purple almost black, The genetics are not called Quebec black bud for nothing. the buds are really compact, I know that with the auto pot system I give myself a chance that they will be denser but I believe that hard training leaves its mark.

Tuesday Last week was a topping week and this week is a transition week as the 2 Grapefruit has been moved to the «flowering » tent which is equipped with the MarsHydro TSL 2000 that is pushing 300w of great 👍 light spectrum with a perfect mix between the différents colors in the spectrum. Just 2 days in the tent and they are already stretching so I feel like this time I’m about to defoliate some of the upper fan leaves 🍁 which is not my cup of tea so let’s see how I’m doing it. Will use the removed leaves to make a leaves tea , which is basically bunch oft leaves that I am leaving in the water for a week in a covered bucket , it’s a great foliar spray when it’s done & I will show you the final Ec after 7 days anse you may be surprised 😲 . Thursday The pictures are from Wednesday and the soil of the girl were fairly dry , the lower leaves started to fade-away. The feeding is still the same around 1.7ec and 5.8ph and around 3/4 times a week , I have some grow mates on GD who are keeping the coco constantly moist but I have some difficulty to do it so I’m using the old school wet/dry cycle of the medium. Btw I’ve changed my feeding for the GHE maxibloom because the PK ratio is higher so good for the flowering stage and still one part nuts + cal/mag Sunday I have found a nutrient tips , I can’t confirm that it’s a good one but it offer me an opportunity to be more lazy 😍 ... don’t worry be happy be lazy . So I discovered that when mixing 10g of Greenhouse Hybrids powder with 20ml of GHE cal/mag in 20L of tap water 💦 then adding some GHE Maxibloom until the Ec get to 1,7/2,8 was almost a Ph perfect formula as my mix ph is 5.9 😊 close from the 5.8 sweet spot SO now I’m gonna mix it like that all the time and check only the runoff PH . We are in the end of pre flowering and the girl will start the full flowering process soon enough but they will keep on stretching because of the MarsHydro Spectrum 😁 Thanks for following 😍

Still a lot of pistols shooting and the temps will stay constant to let this girl put up some weight. La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.
