Let’s touch on the two potential strategies for next steps: 1. Flipping to 12/12 for a Short Period: This would allow me to determine sex quickly, but it can stress the plants slightly. 2. Cloning: Creating clones and flipping them instead is a great way to preserve the integrity of the main plants while identifying males and females without disrupting their growth cycle. Hello. This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. These girls sure stretched this week. Wow. I see 1 top about 10 inches from the top of the tent. That one branch might get super cropped if it keeps going up. Near the end of this week I want to get in here and do a final trim/prune. Paying attention to fan leaves that don't get enough light on the bottom and fan leaves that block light on the top. If you have a big plant try to leave 4 to 8 fanleaves at the end of each branch, with 8 on the lower branches and 4 on the smaller upper branches. I will also have a good look at the small branches to see if they are sucker branches or if they will put out a small bud. I know that I will put the plant into shock for a few days with the trim/pruning, but when the plant heals and starts to grow again it will go right into resin production, full speed. I will, generally not touch the plants till the end after that. I might take a few fanleaves off that block the light and I'll take off any yellow or dyeing leaves from the bottom too. Came into the tent a couple of days ago to water the plants and saw that the fan blade had disintegrated in it's cage, but it spewed out small bits of plastic all over the plants closest to them. About 5 weeks ago my other fan stopped working in the same place. Not enough lube I'm guessing. so I went and got that blade and it fit. So I didn't have to buy a new fan. 😃 I've got to get in here and vacuum that up before the resin starts flowing. Don't need small bits of plastic in my resin. 😝 See which fan blow up in the video. Oh yes, I also had to replace a automatic opening roof vent this week. It hardly opened a inch on a hot day. I bought one off Amazon, it was here in 3 days, and it works great. Ok. See ya next week. Welcome everyone Here is the diaries of a friend, this is his first culture. He chose for this session five Hulkberry from Royal Queen Seeds, a BubbleGum offered by Zamnesia, as well as a Big Bang Auto from GreenHouseSeeds. All these ladies are under HPS 600W, 150cm square area. Here we go!

Entering week 2 of flower! She did A LOT of growing and changing in the first week and I was able to get her canopy laid out nicely in the 4X4! This week is a continuation of that. Slowing tying down branches as not to stress her out. She came down with some broad mites last week ( I can only assume despite all precautions, I brought them home from work, as we had a problem with them in our veg room a couple weeks back) Steady, heavy Nuke Em applications is showing improvement! 3/28 Update: We seem to have won against the bugs! I will continue preventative sprays for a week or so just to be sure they are gone, but I think we are in the clear. I believe I have successfully managed her canopy as well. We are two weeks into the stretch and she has plenty of room to go up now (which was my main concern with her)! I actually brought her down from 43in in the last week of veg to 40 inches this morning through dropping a net and slowly tying and spreading branches! 😁

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. Pulled a few fan leaves, had a house inspection so I had to move them all outside , they went from 26°c to -2°C for ten hours they also had their dark cycle interrupted during the course of moving them. The smell is very strong now from all 6 pheno

Day 64 ( 31 of 12/12 ) So a good week in the grow room , Been sorting out some life issues so havnt been online as much as i wanted, The girls are looking fantastic , Mills c4 has been upped to 1ml and as there all nice and green. i didn't up mills A+B like there chart suggests as if anything there a little too green , Ph at every feed has been 5.7 & end run off is 6.1 . As we are into the full swing of flower i can see we have x3 different pheno types im sure , Plant number 5 is VERY strong incida in shape and appearance And looks like it will finish way ahead of the rest so far , it already had VERY tight internodes and is shaping up to had HUGE buds . Plants 3 - 6 & 4 are looking the most sativa and there buds look furthest from finish , (EC : 1.6) 1 & 2 look epic and lots like the lots like the images on the dinafem site so far , and are growing fat

Day 56 of flower and the finish line is in sight! Pineapple Express looks to have its fade well under way with the majority of leaves turned completely black and now showing signs of nutrient deficiency as i stop feeding nutrients. i’m going to let what’s left in the soil carry it to the finish line. the ghost train hazes look like they will take a bit longer but are maybe 2 weeks out.

I just cant get over how well things are going!!!! I've come so far in only 3 generations of plants! Today I did my FIRST DEFOLIATION EVER!!!!! It went so well!!! Shout out to Bill Ward for having some good views to brush up on! My first grow I didnt have enough leaves to defol and last grow I was to scared to lol. This time I made them my bitch!!!! It was EASY! NEVER BE AFRAID OF YOUR PLANTS!!!! I'm tinkering with the light so they aren't super happy atm. I turned on the exhaust and the Vaporizer. I also raised the light to 2ft and will try to consistently keep the light at that distance. I bumped up the nuets to 2ml. I'm a little lower than my schedule called for but i might bump it this week. Gonna watch the ladies! I tested the runoff and its 6.1, perfect. Starting to see how the plant is gonna look. __________________________________________________________________________________________ The plants came down with some spots. i did some reading and i came to the conclusion that they needed a bit more cal-mag. I also had noticed some of the newer growth had reddish stems too. I checked my discords and that's what they thought too!!! I was going to bump it anyway bc I've seen alot of diaries on here with ALOT more Cal-mag than me. Otherwise they look great! I got them out tonight for a light watering and noticed they had grown like 4or5 inches! Go Baby Go! __________________________________________________________________________________________ I fed them this evening and gave them a small haircut for some light penetration. I put a few spacers in that I printed and they seemed to help salvage my LST. I think the stakes dont hold up to the plant. Next Grow I will use wire. Still monitoring the leaves and while its slowly spreading I don't think I will see the effects of the extra calmag for a while. I have double downed on my videos, working on editing and hope to really develop my dairies! __________________________________________________________________ Things are going great as we wrap up the week. The plants are almost fighting for space in the tent, and i'm dialing in how much water the pots hold, I think this is the sweet spot size. Defoliated about 20 leaves, just a trim and tuck. I didn't do well at LST at all this round, i noticed all the main stems are ramrod straight, but using the spacers seems to be making the plants into pretty nice lil trees. I think the best part is right around the corner!!! Its about to get very pretty up in there!
