This week has been excellent for my Black Cherry! Five days ago, it received its first pruning. It was defoliated a bit and the top was pinched. I want to see how the genetics react to stress and how it copes with it. The side shoots have been tied back as best I could. A beautiful bushy growth is slowly forming!

Nächste Woche, vermute ich werden die beiden Pflanzen in ihrn neuen Topf umziehen und dort sieht Mann den Vergleich dann erst richtig, da dort dann die ganze Palette der organischen Growdünger zum Einsatz kommt. Für den ultimativen Vergleich kommen bald noch zwei neue Diaries mit zwei identischen Stecklingen um genau zu beobachten wie was performed. Die Pflanzen entwickeln sich super gut und sind sehr robust. Die Seitentriebe bilden sich immer weiter aus. Die Blattform ist schön Breit und Buschig. Harvest day, you’d think I’d be excited and I was until last night. I’ve had to have my oldest Cat put down due to health reason 😿 I almost can’t be bothered to do this update, but here I am 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ it’s only one more entry. I harvested this plant at day 58 of flower, it feels like she matured and finished quite fast, always a good trait. Her buds are rock solid to the touch and almost wet with trichomes, if that makes sense?! I took some pictures just prior to harvesting her. She’s now hanging on a peg hanger in my drying tent, cut into individual branches. She took barely any time all all to trim, she’s got a high bud to leaf ratio and everything I cut off will be dried, frozen and sifted to make Rosin. No waste at all. I aim to dry between 10-14 days, I generally keep the RH around 55% and the temp fluctuates around 18*C. She’s been an easy plant to grow and I’d recommend these genetics, In House have really outdone themselves with this one! I don’t usually do this, but I’m dedicating this grow to my late Cat Poochim. (I’ve added some pictures of him) I got him when he was a little kitten and I was just a teenager, 20 years later and I’ve had to say goodbye to a very old friend 🖤

This grow was incredible—hands down the most enjoyable in years! The harvest may not be massive as I’m still fine-tuning my system, but it’s more than enough for me. The aroma is phenomenal, absolutely mouthwatering, and brought tears to my eyes while trimming. I’m thrilled to taste the final product!

October 28, 2021 Doing my weekly diary updates a couple days early this week. This weekend I'm doing some work on the basement to finally finish the last of the construction projects for the Dude Cave!!! Once finished, I have a new 2x3 tent and a Viparspectra XS2000 (240w LED) that will be set up next week. Then I'll run the 2x3 for veg/autos and the 2x4 for photos. As for the plants... The Quick Critical is cranking! That girl is on a growing spree and I have no intention of doing anything to slow her down. The Critical Sour is a week behind, but looking much better than the sister seed that never really did anything after breaking the soil. I'd like to see the Critical Sour hit a growth spurt like the Quick Critical in the upcoming week 🙏 The CBD Medi Kush finally started pushing out a node and some serrated leaves. Its really funky looking right now, almost like its revegging. It will be interesting to see if she hits a growth spurt this week too. With the Dr Bruce Banner I think the seeds are just too old, neither of two seeds popped. I did decide to try to plant one more seed, but a different 1:1 strain. I planted a CBD Lemon Aid, also from Original Sensible Seeds. Hopefully this one will pop, but these seeds are the same age as the Dr B Banner seeds and have been stored the same way (dark space, room temperature, silica humidity pack in the box). If the CBD Lemon Aid doesn't pop, I'm just going to pull out that pot and see what the other 3 do. Cya next week!

Trainwreck is now an established strain in the history of cannabis, now we can see how it turns out on the automatic one from Zamnesia. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find worked with the Main Lining. Topping at the second internode to create the MainFold, growing shoots worked parallel to the ground for another three internodes and then topped again. We have removed the branches of 1 internode on each side and topped the remaining two branches on each side. Slow down the use of nitrogen during this technique, you may not need everything recommended by the manufacturers. So, if the leaves become too dark or, worse, the tips of the leaves arch downwards and the leaf becomes "crunchy", it is time to lighten or stop the basic fertilizer. She is a bit dark and I slowed down by giving only additives. Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go see it to compare. We started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot).
