As growers we all know that this is the most terrifying part of it 😳 😬.. You can literally lose or even ruin your entire harvest during this period.. Room temperature and humidity is the key 🔑.. No sunlight on buds and so forth.. I dialed my temperature to an even 22 degrees with 70% humidity..

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Trimmed alot of dead leaves of today . Going to run 2 more days then light out. Stacked on a lot of weight this week. Looking forward to finally being able to smoke only a couple of weeks away

They are all showing preflower and chugging along nicely.

Still feeding plagrons green sensation, sugar royal and power buds at half strength. The fan leaves have filled in lots over the last 7 days. Around day 21 I will defoliate all purple stem fan leaves.

More or less a standard week of stretching and feeding. She has really pushed through with the stretch. Fertigation was smooth with a 1.6 EC. Did a bit of selective defoliation of those huge fan leaves at the bottom? Used some stakes to open her out a bit. Still trying to get environment dialed in

With this thick headbud, there is a risk of getting wet and bad weather and we dont want any budrod so we cut the headbud after 66 days from seed to harvest we took away some fan leafs and hung it up to dry. the lower buds may need a few more days. Its really unbelieveble how much resin she produces. smoking report is following

Sorry for the delay guys been a shit week for the most part. I took these pics before I left on Friday and a quick video. I planned to come back on sunday get some good pics and harvest but broke my clavicle saturday in 2 places and now I'm gunna be scramblin the next 6 to 8 weeks n be extremely limited. I'll do my best but it's my right side and I'm a firm righty, lefty is like speaking Japanese for me. Threw in a pic so you guys know I'm not a faker like my uncle raymus. Anyways I wont speak of it again after this weeks updates.. I like this one. It completely blacked out even with higher temps than I typically have. The pistils just accentuate the buds if that's even a word their so bright vibrant orange on top of these black and purple nugs irs pretty cool lookin. It has a sharp chemical smell to it it's difficult to describe. I'm pretty confident a bigger pot would have resulted in more roots and bigger fruits so even though the buds arent tiny they could have definitely packed it on a little more but well chalk it up to grower error. If I grew it again I would either flip it earlier or throw it in a 5 gal. I hope to chop it tonight if I dont have to get surgery today and will update the harvest as soon as possible. 7 week is behind us. On day 45 i setting up net for holding buds and a bit more fullit up tent. There is past 2 days since she started flower. In this update i can not move out of grow room and some picture is not so perfect Peace and love ✌️😁💜💚

I did a lot of defoliation work this week. Plants look very naked now. 😻 But more light for the buds 😛 = Less leaves = less water (-25%) The plants don't make many few new flowers anymore. Half of the plants have nice fat buds, swelling and getting hard. 💪 Pistils turn brown. The other half is much slower ripening. Some have foxtail buds and will need more time to ripen. 👻 Some plants are very small and will have low yield. 😏 One plant (#15) is extremely fat 😝

I'll be updating the comment with the daily log shortly, but figured I'd get the photos and weekly overview up. I started off this week with a topping at about the 4th node, leaving the larger fan leaves on for now. I then left then alone for a bit while I waited for the new branches at the nodes to grow out, rotating as needed. By the end of the week, they had all bushed back up with new foliage and growth. I also included photos pf the flowering mother plant to keep up with that sneak peak. She still wasn't showing signs of flowering, so I gave her an extra 24 hours of darkness to hopefully kick start the process. As I went to go shut unplug the light source, I noticed that there was a smaller light leak from one of the vent ports, so I also made sure to close that up. At the end of the week when she started to show signs of flowering, I defoliated her to help with light penetration, as she's got massive fan leaves. You'll see in the photos that I took that opportunity to decarb the trim as well. I'm sure there's little to no THC-A, but whatever other compounds are present should make for a nice addition to some butter later on down the road. I just won't factor it in when approximating the potency of the final product.

It seems like she needed to be closer to the light so I moved her a closer. She is growing very tall and fast. I water her once every two days or when I see the soil is dry. :)

Not much to report this week so far. Slightly defoliated above the Scrog to allow more light penetration for the lower branches. Plants starting to stretch abit now but nothing to bad.

It's been a big week for these girls and I have a LOT of photos as well as a video. It's a lot to rearrange because I should have uploaded them in better order. Maybe I'll fix it later, but for now most of the content from 8/5 is before 8/1 On 8/1 I purchased some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a local mushroom farmer down the road. I crumbled them around the base of each plant. My main reasoning was because of the Night Nurse that's been having some problems, but in the end I think all the plants will benefit from the added mycelium, especially during this flowering phase. The mycelium will spread through the root network allowing a greater uptake of nutrients in trade for sugars, which I'm supplementing in the form of molasses. I also defoliated the fan leaves on 8/5 since we're only a couple weeks from harvest. I think it was a good sign that those leaves were strong and weren't easy to come off. We got a lot of rain that day!
