Acapulco Gold has grown out of control, the lights can't go up any further, and the plant is burning on the LED's. This really is a massive plant. Let's hope the smoke is good, as it looks like there will be a substantial amount here by the end! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ I have been turning the plant around to try and minimize the damage from the heat and light. Other than that, the plant is looking really good, this is going to be a long one for sure! I can't wait to see how the colas form. 6.8.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; ๐Ÿ’œ 1ml Trace ๐Ÿ’œ 1 TSP Biosys PH: 6.1 PPM: 425 12.8.25: I watered with 3.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; ๐Ÿ’œ 1ml Trace PH: 6.2 PPM: 349 13.8.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; ๐Ÿ’œ 1ml Trace ๐Ÿ’œ 1 TSP Biosys PH: 6.6 PPM: 351 17.8.25: I watered with 3L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; ๐Ÿ’œ 2ml Trace PH: 6.0 PPM: 391 The plant has been drinking very heavily, and it was time for a top dress. is what I used. 9.8.25: I top dressed with the following organic dry amendments; As a base for the dry amendments I used: ๐Ÿงก Worm Castings - 1L ๐Ÿงก Coco - 1L ๐Ÿงก Perlite - 1L Dry Amendments: ๐Ÿ’š Ecothrive Life Cycle 2 TBS ๐Ÿ’š Ecothrive Bloom 2 TBS ๐Ÿ’š Ecothrive Charge 2 TBS ๐Ÿ’š Diatomaceous Earth 2TBS ๐Ÿ’š 2 TBS Cinnamon I watered this in with 9.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; ๐Ÿ’œ 1ml Ecothrive Trace. ๐ŸŒธ Week 5 โ€“ Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is done and the differences between the phenos are becoming more obvious with every update ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ”ฅ Now that flowering is progressing, each phenotype is starting to show its own character much more clearly. Even though all plants are running under the same conditions, their reactions are very different. ๐Ÿ“ˆ Current observations: Some phenos are handling irrigation and feeding extremely well and continue pushing strong growth Others are showing a bit more sensitivity and reacting differently to the same watering routine Leaf size differences are becoming huge now โ€” some phenos are producing massive fan leaves while others stay much more compact Plant structure and overall vigor continue to separate more week by week At this point, 4 out of the 6 phenos are currently looking like strong candidates and fall into what Iโ€™d personally consider the โ€œgoodโ€ category so far ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿƒ Maintenance & feeding: Iโ€™m still managing the canopy and keeping an eye on how each plant develops through early flower. Small adjustments and observation are becoming more important now as every pheno responds differently. ๐Ÿ“Š Current environment: Temperature stable around 26ยฐC Relative humidity staying between 63โ€“65% VPD maintained around 1.3 kPa Light intensity unchanged from previous adjustments Now Iโ€™m especially excited to see how the buds start forming over the next weeks, because that will probably decide which phenos really stand out in the end ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒธ The structure is there โ€” now letโ€™s see who delivers when it matters. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Which pheno do you think will end up producing the best flowers?

D71 - SEP 22: Looking and smelling great. Havenยดt seen much growth since the last 5 days or so, but it fattend up really well and itยดs really dense, insanely dense. Thricomes developing, soon to be harvested :) D72: Now itยดs time to mature, I donยดt see any significant growth, only thricomes developing. No watering, it still has a lot. Humidity is really high these last 2 days, being around 50 - 70% rH. D73: No watering yet. No signs of any more thrips, thankfully. Seems to have fattened a little. D74: Maturing well, thricomes getting mostly cloudy and amber. No watering, tomorrow probably. D75-D77: Been a little off of GD for these past days. The tent is looking good in general, no thrips anymore, temps and rH are good. Watered with nutrients on day 76. Thricomes are really close to harvest and Iยดm really impacient but Iยดm trying to wait for it to get more amber ๐Ÿ˜„

Saludos!

It's been an exciting journey training my plants, and I'm happy with the progress they've made. I've been implementing various training techniques to encourage healthy growth and maximize yields. The plants have responded positively to the training, and I'm hopeful that they will continue to thrive and develop as planned. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome!

i normally dont do this of changing to 11/13 and in the same week full and hard defoliation like i did, but i was seeing my space getting short so , it is what it is and lets have faith that they will still feet in there lol i mean i still have a bit of space to bring up the LEDs but is just not that much so i better safe than sorry , i prefer to stress the โ€œstretchโ€ by defoliating and with this i hope for a smaller one , lets see. I mean they are completely recovered to a point i am thinking in changing the diary name and all since its not an SOS thing at all any more lol Started my fruit stimulator and my P supplement to help them realize is time for changing and off they are to what i believe will be a interesting Grow journey. For now that is all i am doing and i believe is more than enough love for the first week flowering lol As always thank you guys for your love , your time, your support and it all, i fell blessed and i am truly thankful <3 <3 <3 โ€จโ€จAll i grow is medicine for myself, for me and for my best friend with is me nothing to sell, so donโ€™t even ask <3 <3 <3 โ€จโ€จ All info and full product details can be find in can find @โ€จโ€จ https://www.zamnesia.comโ€จ https://aptus-holland.com โ€จโ€จ#aptus #aptusplanttech #aptusgang #aptusfamily #aptustrueplantscience #inbalancewithnature #trueplantscience #zamnesiaseeds #growersloveโ€จโ€จWith true love comes happiness <3 <3 Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so <3 <3 <3 โ€จโ€จ More info and updates @ โ€จhttps://growdiaries.com/grower/dogdoctorโ€จโ€จ https://instagram.com/dogdoctorofficialโ€จโ€จ https://youtube.com/channel/UCR7ta4DKLFMg2xxTMr2cpIgโ€จโ€จ Growers love to you all

In the end it was a pretty good run, i have to say though that, probably due to some early veg stress, one of the plants probably suffered from hermaphroditism and impollinated the others, 5hus resulting in a few seeds here and there. Fortunately nothing major. Thnx everybody for the support and following my first diary, stay tuned cause I'm starting two new more grows, bigger and better. Keep the peace ๐Ÿ˜‰โœŒ๏ธ

Thank you. Growing cannabis is an art that seems to evolve as you learn it. While it may only take a little knowledge to get started, It seems that this may take a life-time to perfect (doubt I'll ever make that category, but I will certainly try). So thank-you to the community that Shares, Comments, Follows, and Likes. Your efforts in any of these actions make these journals a worth-while and perfect way for us all to learn and track our efforts. I personally appreciate it. Also a huge Thanks has to go out to Grow Diaries for making this community even possible. Your efforts to supply the data storage alone is more than enough, but you the fact that you dont stop there and constantly try to improve the experience even more makes this my favorite community to to share on. And then lastly, but certainly not least, a heartfelt Thank-you to Royal Queen Seeds for your branding/research while making these seeds available to people like me. It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

the plants grow and flower peacefully, the only thing that is leaving me a little strange is that the flowers do not turn purple unlike the others that have the same cutting reversed as the father but the two of them are s1 therefore self-hypolinating but the purple gene seems to have been passed down only to the mixed progeny and not to her
