The plant is growing really well and the new tops are coming through strong. I hope to start training with clips this week and will move it up to a 5 gallon pot in the next week or two

Week 3 of flower for Kalini Asia Shes looking much better compared to last week. Shes already got purple cues coming in her bud sights, cant wait to see how purple she really is! Bottom feeding around 500ml of water a day on her drip tray.

End of week 2 looking a lovely colour and growing at a steady pace.

D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! Here I was transplanting from solo cups to one gallon fabric pots they took very well to it. Didn't see no transplant stress.

Morning 3/24/23 - Watered with Build A Soil Bloom schedule, added 2oz Liquid Pumpkin Extract. I believe the Mimosa is bouncing back a bit. I've noticed new pistils shooting out and a slightly darker hint of green to the leaves. I purchased a 5 Gallon jug of filtered drinking water from Lowe's. I think my tap water, even air bubbled, is no bueno. Morning 3/25/23 - Watered the CherryLand a bit with pure air bubbled water. Took Photos. Morning 3/27/23 - Watered with pure air bubbled water and added 1/2 tsp Recharge. Morning 3/28/23 - Day 32 of Flower, Top Dressed with Build-A-Flower Top Dress Kit. Watered with pure air bubbled water. Used 1/3 gallon per plant. Took Photos. Morning 3/29/2023 - Watered only the Mimosa x Orange Punch with pure air bubbled water ~1/3 gallon. She felt the lightest. Morning 3/30/23 - Watered only the CherryLand and Larry's Lemon OG with pure air bubbled ~ 1/3 gallon each. They felt the lightest. I want to keep the soil from drying out and try to keep it living but also try to not over water it. I ordered an AutoPot XL 2 pot system for my next grow. I am sick of watering. I went with the 6.6 gallon plastic pots with the airbase and airdome kit. I will be growing 1 x Green House Seed Co. Cheese and 1 x Brothers Grimm Seed Co. Grimm Mints. Morning 3/29/23 - Watered only the Mimosa. She felt noticeably lighter than the other two. The Larry's Lemon OG is looking close to done. It has fattened up nicely and most of the pistils are brown. Will look at trichomes under magnification when I get a few moments to spare.

Week 14 - August 13 Back from holidays. One week without carrying plants. All is Ok ✅ the Blumat irrigation system worked perfectly, Aphids are totally eradicated: the Garlic mixture is a miracle. 🐛I found 5 caterpillars on 2 plants: it makes lot of damage on a Bubble Gum I didn’t mention in the diary, but the other are safely. caterpillars are the Enemy N°1 at this point: must check everyday. Presence of leafminer flies but nothing important. -Royal Moby, seriously injured by sunburn and aphids aggression: recovering good, amazing stretch (sativa dominant) 140cm high , new branches are healthy. Flowering stage not engaged. -GMOxZombie Kush, was pretty shocked by aphids and sunburn too but problems are resolved: the plant is not too bad, starting a pre flowering period. 115cm -Flash Back #2 start flowering. Perfectly healthy, no pests, diseases or deficiency. Gook stretch last weeks, lot of ramifications and booming sites.130cm -Brake Pad Breath is the most advanced with a flowering stage engaged since 2 weeks. Today the Blue Cheese Pheno 1 became the first time rinsed, and now only gets 0.4 Ec water for the next 10 days ca :-). Everyone else needs a while. otherwise there is not much to report this week. Day 44: Starting to see some preflower signs and man guys this girl is stunning.. Everything is growing perfect 👌 😌. Leaves and color are beautiful and she takes feedings like a beast. I'm really impressed so far 👏. It is almost 19 inches tall now and I'm thinking shes got another foot to go lol. Will keep everyone posted and thanks to everyone that checks out and likes my grows please comment with your input as I always like constructive criticism.

Welcome to my FastBuds GSC grow-off diary! I plan on growing 2 seeds from the same package - one using a 950ml Gatorade bottle dwc system, and the other sharing a 64L reservior DWC. I'll grow them both while trying to be as simiar in techique as i can, but i'm more interested in how the 950ml does, so might not be super picky about doing things exactly the same, heh. I'm making this all up as I go! Enjoy the ride! Week 0 ====== Day 0.1 - 2 seeds in water for 24hrs Day 0.2- 2 Seeds in wet paper towel, in a plastic bag for 24-48hrs until taproot is out Day 0.3 - 24hrs later - one seed has sprouted a tail Day 0.4 - 2nd seed sprouted tail; put both seeds into rockwool Day 0.5 - 1st seed sprouted from rockwool Day 0.6 - 1st seed doing well, 2nd seed no change Day 0.7 - Checked 2nd seed and hasn't budged, so it's a dud. Started a new seed (had 3 GSC, so all good!) Day 0.8 - 1st seed into the 1L DWC bottle! Day 0.10 - 3rd seed germinated - into rockwool to sprout. DWC Prototype ----------------- - 950ml Gatorade Bottle - 2x small air stones - 1/2" overflow tube where i want the water level to be - Nutrient top-feed line The reservoir below is 19L (~15L of solution) with a small 80gph water pump on lowest setting, which will be on a timer for 15 mins every 3 hours (at first - we'll see how that goes). The water pumps nutrient solution up to the Gatorade bottle and the overflow goes back down into the reservoir.
