25/07/25: Another week in the books, and the ladies are progressing—slowly but surely. Bud development is moving along, though the cool and cloudy German "summer" isn't exactly speeding things up. Fingers crossed for a bit more sunshine in august to help ripen those buds and add some extra weight before harvest!🤞🏼☀️ Other than that, not much to report this week—no major changes or issues. Just letting nature do it's thing! 🌿

There’s microscopic bugs crawling on my buds! Going to post a grow question about them. No more nutrients, she’s definitely getting close, so let’s use plain water and hope for the best in the next week or two.

Day 15 she's strong and beautiful. Will start training soon. Probably move her to the 4x4 next weekend. Topped the fourth node on day 17. Used a few LST clips on day 19. She didn't skip a beat from being topped.

2/13/2023 - Day 42: Start to week 6. Overall the plants are doing good, except the weird tip curling and yellowing. Initially i thought it may be either under or over watering, but the soil seems good. Not too wet or too dry. Then I thought possibly nitrogen toxicity, but the leaves don't look overly green. I now think it may be heat or light related, so I lowered the power on the light and raised it up a few inches. I also lowered the temp in the tent a few degrees. It could also be the new soil is a bit too hot still, and I've been throwing the kitchen sink at them, so I plan to just water with plain water the next few times and hopefully they will grow out of this. Plan to add the trellis net this week and start spreading the tallest plants out. 2/14/2023 - Day 43: Added the trellis net and did some light defoliation on the lowest part of a few plants. Plan to do more of a major defoliation next time I water. Also, the new growth appears ro be doing better, so I think raising the light fixed the problem. 2/16/2023 - Day 45: watered about 3.5 gallons, which is about 5% of the volume of the bed. I'm pretty sure the leaf curl I was seeing was a combination of light or heat stress, and slightly too much nitrogen, which is likely from the foliar spayed I was doing. Considering this, I decided to add a few things to the water. I mixed in ThermX-70, Comfrey Extract, Yah-Whey, FishShit, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and BuildASoil Big 6. I also did some additional defoliating to allow for some additional light penetration into the middle of the plants. Just started bending the tallest branches under the scrog net as well. Let's hope the girls have a positive reaction. 2/18/2023 - Day 47: did my weekly IPM. Foliar sprayed with distilled water mixed with BuildASoil EM-5. Also, realized I made a slight mistake. When I turned the lights up the other day, I never turned the schedule back on, so the lights have been on for 3 days straight. Luckily, the plants are still in veg, and they seemed to handling it well. The Grand Prix 3 had some minor leaf curling on the edges of some leaves, bit otherwise they still look good. They are back on 18/6 now.

Day 66 : The lady seems to be stabilized with the burns , so i started some juices to her water in order to help her with fattening. Hope to wake her a bit and produce some terpenes. Edit Day 70 : I increased again juices to 3ml / L. Also added 1ml / L CalMag. She started to turn purple.

Hopefully she doesn't stretch too much more. She's getting close to the light. I really need to get in there and clean up the underbrush and everythinh

Sticky and loud is all I can say! Hopefully whatever damage and burn I have doesn’t hurt my buds too much l! But otherwise they’re stacking up well! Couple more weeks to go!

Height growth has stopped completely on plants 2, 3, and 4. Plant 1 is now at 22inches and most main tops breaching the trellis. Picked up some Full Tilt from FloraFlex to start throwing at them this week as they begin flush and start to finish out. Still running 3 grams per gallon(0.6 tsp per gallon or about 1 tbls per 5 gallons) of the B1&B2 from FloraFlex. This week I will begin cranking the tsw2000 from 75% slowly to 100% over the week and try to finish these girls out under the full 310 watts. Today I put it at 80% resulting in the highest tops on plant 4 around 500-550PPFD while the tops on 2 and 3 are receiving about 350 and plant 2 is receiving about 250. Will continue to increase the intensity and monitor their response. Hopefully in the next week or so we will start to see some color change and perhaps that runt will show us what she's been hiding. Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. I did run into a few complications that hampered the grow.The 2 P's came into play on this one. PPM and PH I also had an issue with the pump art first but that was corrected quickly. I will grow this strain again in the future😎

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Had some issues this week with humidity. We had a lot of rain for 24 hours and the humidity outside went up to 80%. With that my tent went up to 70% humidity for about 14 hours and then dropped down to 65% and stayed there for almost 2 days. Doesn't look like it caused any issues but we well see. Now its looking like it's super close to crop time. Going to give it another 24 hours and take it from there. Just need to figure out what one we'll be coming down first, this one or my 4x4.
