SO UPDATE! OCTOBER 3rd 2019 finally dry in thee herbs now drier and i bought a new scale cause it seemed off not even an ounce wet! TURNS OUT 57grams dry!!!! Wooo!!!!! Spoke with the owner of herbsnow did some reverse calculations and the wet number was 69.6 WET. What a disaster GREAT SMOKE GREAT HIGH

Feeling kind of anxious. I mean for starting a new grow. This ones were an ok first coco grow. I think the next one gonna be better. Tho the plants are great. Totally frosted, lots of popcorn but some good buds too. Smell is getting intense. I’ll start flushing this week and next one we chopp em.

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

2nd week of flowering and the girls are doing well.

This week's highlights: Root Breakthrough, Dimmer Battles & The EC thingy Another week down! Since my last update on September 13th, the girls have made some serious moves. Here is the day-by-day log of what’s been happening inside the tent: The Story So Far: September 14th – Minor Tweaks & One-Handed Light Gymnastics Adjusted the pH back down from 5.8 to 5.5. I also wanted to bump the PPFD up to 350 µmol/m²/s. Since the somewhat finicky built-in dimmer on the Lumatek ATS 300W Pro only allows adjustments in 25% steps—and I’m far too stingy to buy additional control gear so I had to lower the light physically. Doing that with only one hand was… an experience, to say the least! The bright side? As the plants grow upwards, the PPFD will naturally increase on its own. I just need to keep an eye on the canopy distance. Once the roots hit the main reservoir, I’m expecting an explosive growth surge anyway. September 15th – Steady Cruising Noticed the EC drifted up slightly to 1.3 mS/cm. Left it as is. Just brought the pH back down from 5.7 to 5.5. September 16th – Quiet Day Nothing major to report. The pH only rose to 5.6. My threshold for this phase is 5.7 so I don't bother adjusting down to 5.5 until it hits or exceeds that mark. Minimal effort, maximum chill. September 17th – We Have Touchdown! pH crept up to 5.8, so I dialed it back to 5.5. More importantly: roots from BOTH plants have officially broken through into the main reservoir! Game on. September 18th – Smooth Sailing Just letting the plants do their thing. No intervention needed. September 19th (yesterday) – Reservoir Change & A Quick Lesson on Canna Schedules I did a full reservoir change and prepared the mix for Vegetative Phase I strictly according to the Canna Aqua calculator for 30 liters. I input my custom base EC of 0.28 mS/cm and dosed everything down to the exact milliliter using syringes (66 ml Vega A+B, 60 ml Rhizotonic, 75 ml Cannazym). After letting the solution sit for 2.5 hours to settle, I took a reading expecting the target EC of 1.4. Instead, the meter hit a whopping 1.78 mS/cm! The takeaway here: official feeding charts are guidelines, not absolute truth. Especially when working with remineralized RO water, which reacts quite differently than standard tap water. To bring it back down to a safe 1.4 EC, I had to scoop out 6.5 liters of the hot solution and dilute it back up with fresh, remineralized RO water (EC 0.28). Always double-check your readings before feeding your roots! September 20th (today) - pH correction from 6.1 back to 5.5 and video editing for this week's report. Now that the roots are drinking directly from the reservoir and the fresh nutes are locked in at 1.4 EC, let's see how fast they explode next week! A Note on VPD & Climate Controls: You might notice I’m not running a high-end, dynamic VPD-controlled tent with automated humidifiers or smart exhaust triggers to chase the absolute textbook 1.0 kPa around the clock. Why? Because this is a Lazy Grow (maybe not for so long, still thinking about mainlining), not a NASA cleanroom operation. Looking at my environment logs, temperatures stay nicely between 22°C and 26°C with RH hovering in the 50–65% range. This puts the VPD naturally right in the sweet spot for veg (~0.9 to 1.1 kPa) without me having to micro-manage humidifiers or drain my wallet on automated climate gear. Sure, dialing in VPD to the exact decimal point might squeeze out an extra 5% of dry weight in the end, but ambient room conditions are doing 95% of the heavy lifting just fine. Good enough for me!

Well, they haven't died, lol. J/k. These ladies are 15 days old today and are looking quite content 😁 Still have some adjustments to make but very close to being dialed in. Again this will be a relatively short run, going to veg for 3 more weeks, maybe 4 and then flip the lights. Also only going to do defoliation with these. Another one down, now the tent can flourish. Already going into third week on the next flower cycle. Going to try a dry trim on this one. So far I've been doing wet trims, but I have more space this dry cycle. I've had chocolope a few times before, a few different phenotype expressions from the original seeds. I'll be curious to see if this is just like those previous chocs or if I will be able to pick out notes of whatever it crossed with. It definitely grew like chocolope I've grown in the past, very stretchy, long stretch time, genetically foxtailly. 8/12 getting ready to do a little test press on some larfy nugs that should be a bit dryer than the big nugs. In the bag, it smells just like Nam wah, but the plant 100% had the chocolope structure, except the buds were smaller than a choc for sure. I kind of attributed that to having an ec issue early flower, but maybe it was the Nam wah influence. Pretty crazy how the genes crossed like that. Wow. It got pretty warm here and we're letting the house breathe, so the tent is actually warmer during lights out daytime, than it is during lights out night. I like it, seems to make them grow faster and could potentially shorten flower time.

This diary documents LSD genetics grown under a shared environment, with different early-life strategies (short veg vs 12/12 from seed), allowing us to observe how structure, vigor, and timing express themselves under identical conditions. ⸻ 🌱 Overall Status — Week 5 All LSDs are doing beautifully — not as a figure of speech, but in structure, color, and behavior. • Strong vertical growth • Active lateral branching • Clear phenotypic differences depending on early light exposure • Early signs of pre-flower expression, which is fully expected at this stage There is no panic, no rush — just plants doing plant things. ⸻ Plant-by-Plant Observations 🌿 LSD #1 — Former Autopot Plant (Short Veg) • Initially placed in autopots • Showed early nutrient demand stress (“hangry” expression) • Removed from autopots and transitioned to regular feeding • Recovery is excellent: • Purple stems fading • Leaf color returning to healthy green • Strong upward momentum Structure & Behavior • 9–11 visible branches • Lower branches aggressively reaching upward • Clear sativa-leaning dominance in structure • Responds quickly to nutritional correction → a demanding but expressive genotype This plant tells us clearly: “Feed me, and I will perform.” ⸻ 🌿 LSD #2 — 12/12 From Seed • No autopot exposure • No nutrient issues observed • Grew entirely under 12/12 from seed Structure • 7–8 nodes • More compact internodal spacing • Heavy lateral branching • Balanced, controlled architecture Roots clearly prioritized first, followed by steady vertical growth — classic 12/12-from-seed behavior. ⸻ 🌿 LSD #3 — 12/12 From Seed (More Compact Expression) • Also 12/12 from seed • Even tighter internodal spacing than LSD #2 • Similar node count • Excellent symmetry and branch development This one reinforces the pattern: 12/12-from-seed LSDs are stacking nodes tightly while still branching hard. ⸻ 🔍 Key Insight — 12/12 From Seed Behavior This run is revealing something important: • These LSDs are vegging, structuring, and initiating pre-flower simultaneously • Behavior closely resembles autoflowers, despite being photoperiods • The same pattern is visible in the autoflowers sharing the room This suggests: • Time efficiency without sacrificing structure • Reduced “waiting” between phases • Early architectural decisions locked in sooner This is not a flaw — it’s a different rhythm. ⸻ 🌸 Pre-Flower Signals — What to Expect ✔️ Expect • Continued vertical stretch • Ongoing lateral branch expansion • Gradual, overlapping transition into flower • Plants “deciding” their final shape soon ❌ Don’t Expect • A sharp, sudden flip • A clean separation between veg and flower • Uniform behavior across all phenotypes These plants are layering growth stages, not switching them. ⸻ 🧠 Closing Thoughts This week confirms something important: When conditions are stable, plants don’t rush — they express. 27.08. Die zwei wachsen echt kräftig. Ich habe die Orange leider etwas verletzt und mir geht der Platz am Topf aus um den Haupttrieb unten zu halten. Daher werde ich den Haupttrieb in Ruhe lassen und nur noch die Seitentriebe weiter nach außen bringen. Bei der Apfelstrudel muss ich das genau so tun. In 1-2 Tagen werden beide nochmal leicht entblättert. 28.08. Alle Seitentriebe weiter nach außen gebogen. Orangensorbet hat 12 Blätter abbekommen und Apfelstrudel 14 Blätter. Orange hat keine Nachwirkungen durch ihre Verletzung gezeigt. Am 30.08. Haben die zwei jeweils 2,5L mit insgesamt 15ml Bio Grow, 10ml Acti Vera, 10ml Bio Heaven und 6ml Calmag auf ph 6,46. Direkt nach dem Gießen beide etwas entblättert. Wie schnell die zwei an neuen Blätter zulegen ist krass. Und dann hab ich weiter versucht die Seitentriebe weiter nach außen zu bringen

Start Week 13 - Day 85 07/27: The ladies are looking good. I believe Aaliyah has a few for weeks before she’s ready. Alexis is about a week behind and Annie is about two weeks behind. I had a few problems last week that I’m hoping don’t mess everything up. Annie took a bit of wind damage. Aaliyah has a herbal/earthy smell on her and it’s increasing, but is still pretty minimal. 07/29: Did some measuring and noticed that the ladies’s main colas all measure at about a foot long. There’s going to be a good amount of bud coming out. The burns on Annie have worsened. Now I’m thinking it might be the light, but there isn’t anything I can do about it at this point. Hopefully she pushed through.

These one was a big messy jorney, everything happened from almost kinling them, to almost no space for them to grow, LED broken middle flower and still perform like the queen champion she is!!! I am felling her mature over cycles , i am thinking of her like a wine vine that gets better over time , these one in my humble opinion its a must in everyones garden <3 <3 <3 Wen harvesting these one i felt the need to break it all apart to prevent bud raw or anything we do not want on our medicine, i like to hang them all and let them dry but in these case there was no chance i was taking that big of a risk with these big fruits all over the place, what a blessed run, my rack is completely full, there was no more space , i mean no more space at all hahah amazing , thank you thank you thank you <3 <3 <3 As always thank you guys for your love , your time, your support and it all, i fell blessed and i am truly thankful <3 <3 <3 All info and full product details can be find in can find @

Well still on auto pilot for the most part. Giving her a daily feeding till run off of the nutes my other girls are using. Other than that I'm just checking on her daily. The main cola is big, fat and pretty dense. Not the hardest but everything considering I'm really happy. It's about the look anyway when it comes to cannabonsi plants. Finished the roll of butt wipe so that looks pretty cool. Hope to harvest next weekend but we will see. Thanks for following this has been a fun grow.

Did some tie down on the side branches to help with light penetration. When I touch her, she gives off a amazing lemon sweet fuel smell, very intoxicating can't wait to cure it. Hairs are starting turn. She has been loveing a 6.8- 7 ph as well. Had a healthy feed. Added norish-L (humic acid). @ 2 drop/L
