I hate transplanting plants so I sat the current pot in another pot that was filled 30% with additional coco coir that had been prebuffered with seedlings strength nutrients to avoid shock. I am confident the roots will continue their journey through the first pot and into the additional space below. Now to observe for a few days, aiming to switch to flowering next week. I have removed at least 30 leaves throughout the last week and she is still looking so bushy and healthy... Thanks Recharge. another uneventful week. the girl is still creating nodes like crazy ... she is growing sideways rather than rushing for the lights. i raised the lights higher to about 12" from the top of the leaves. i also changed the nutrients from a seedling recipe to an early growth stage recipe that is richer in nitrogen with a higher ec 1.2. i also got to see the roots for the first time, they are looking really nice - white and fuzzy. i made the main nutrient tank more permanent and relocated the used nutrient and fresh nutrient tanks in their own chamber so, it's even easier to do manual nutrient changes (1 container in and 1 container out sort thing). later on, in the week, i noticed the main roots showing a little discoloration, not sure if i should be concerned about this, but she looks healthy.. it was fun using the doser again as i really hate mixing chem's since my days in chemistry labs. looking forward to new aggressive growth this week.

Today is week 5 now since dropped in water to be honest I think these are growing slow compared to other peoples. I changed a couple of things like upped wattage of metal halide from 250 to 400 and started giving full strength nute from half strength which I should of give 3 quarter strength instead of full because I can see a slight tip burn so will back of a little. Water every day till run off. At some point this week I will top for the first time to get the main line thing up and going. See you next week peace.

End of 6th week. Switched light set up around yet again. Think we got the golden sweet spot with this light setup finally, it's a short tent the cobs were just too intense so it's now in the big tent, using three lights we originally got for supplemental lights. Not a clean set up wires everywhere, not overly happy about that. But very cool and explosion of buds. Did LST the tall guy everything is coming in nice and even now. Gonna be a beautiful turn out. Colors Already.. Super stoked for that first smoke.
