Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Welcome Back!💚 Die fünfte Blütewoche ist nun vorbei und es bilden sich Dichte und kompakte Blüten aus. Diese Woche war es an der Zeit der Pflanze einen PK Komposttee zu verabreichen. Es entwickelt sich ein süßes fruchtiges Aroma, welches sich aber noch nicht auf den beschriebenen Geschmack zuschreiben lässt. Aktuell lässt sich beobachten, dass die Pflanze sich um die Blütenausbildung kümmert. Die Werte im Zelt sind durch den Kälteeinbruch nochmal etwas anders. Week 4 for these girls. They've doubled in some since last week. I took a couple of the bigger fan leafs off this week, also raised my lights up allowing some stretch. Starting to see some preflowers and pistols. So next week will be off to the flower stage. Happy Growing.

Dienstag war auch für diese Pflanze ein wichtiger Meilenstein – sie ist jetzt ebenfalls im Blüte-Modus und genießt den 12 Stunden Licht- und 12 Stunden Dunkelheit-Rhythmus. Kurz davor habe ich auch hier die Entlaubung vorgenommen, um sie optimal auf diese neue Phase vorzubereiten. Die Wasserzufuhr wurde wie bei der anderen Pflanze angepasst und entspricht nun den Empfehlungen für die zweite Blütewoche. Ich bin wirklich erleichtert, dass das Problem mit dem pH-Wert endlich der Vergangenheit angehört und das System stabil läuft. Diese Pflanze hatte es am Anfang wirklich schwer. Ich hatte sie leider überdüngt, was dazu führte, dass die Blattspitzen verbrannt waren und sie generell recht klein geblieben ist. Aber sie hat sich erstaunlich gut erholt und zeigt jetzt ihre ersten Blütenansätze, was mich sehr freut! Das aktuelle Sorgenkind ist allerdings die Luftfeuchtigkeit. Sie ist momentan leider viel zu hoch, und ich muss mir überlegen, wie ich das am besten in den Griff bekomme. Das ist jetzt meine nächste große Herausforderung.

Week 10 /2nd week flower ladies are fluffing up.

El crecimiento ya esta cogiendo ritmo. Desde que cambie la tierra por una mezcla de turba-60% y perlita-40%, no solo ha mejorado la retención de agua sino que ahora se evapora mucho menos, cosa que se agradece en un cultivo exterior donde la incidencia de la luz solar directa es tan fuerte junto a una temperatura tan alta en el ambiente. [1.472 EC] previous irrigation: D:55 ——————————————————————————— This past week I had to change the light cycle making the grow run at night instead of daytime since it’s summer and heat is an issue : temps stay around 28-29c consistently with rh levels ranging between 55-62% ; I hope some terps will stay in tact ? Lights are set to run at 60% 270 watts (780 PAR at the top) instead of the usual 337.5w. The branches have also started sagging so to remedy that I’ve tied them upwards this way the buds also get extra PAR which should help increase gains further 📈 The past 2 fertigations I’ve also included a tsp of organic molasses for the microbial life; since I’m running a hybrid approach “synganic” 👍 Also once again my pH meter broke which leaves me with pH test strips ; they’re usually good enough to get by ✌️

Checked the trichomes and still are looking clear. Thinking the latest ill harvest is August 30 but it could be sooner, just need to see how it goes. Had a hot week of weather in 80s-90s gonna be in the 70-80 range the next 10 days or so.

Woche 9 Das Training wurde gut überstanden, sie wächst gesund und kräftig. So langsam muss aber mal wieder Luft durchs Blattwerk pusten, daher wird diese Woche Schrittweise das unterste Drittel entlaubt, sowie Blüten und Triebe entfernt.

It became clear to me when I opened the tent two days ago. There they were, sticking out one of the main cola’s, it was almost impossible to miss them: 2 bright lime green banana’s. It was like the little dicks were smiling to me. I immediately removed them and search all the plants thoroughly multiple times for more, but didn’t found one. So, I guess I’m now a member of the ‘hermies club’. As for the cause: I suspect light stress. The light was close on the canopy, a little closer than (for example) dr. Cocoforcannabis recommends for this light. I found the two banana’s on Jannine and the bud that had them, is the one that’s almost in the middle of the tent, where the light is the brightest. The plant on the left, Kim, was also showing some foxtailing on her highest buds. Hence, I raised the lights 6-7 centimeters. Hopefully, I took away the cause of the hermies; off course, I’m keeping a sharp eye on the buds, but I haven’t found any more than those two. Also, EC of the drain tends to go up, hence every few days, I now just give them plain pH’ed water, to prevent high EC spikes. The trichomes are developing nicely. I bought a jeweler's loupe to study them, because with my USB microscope it’s almost impossible to get a clear picture (I don’t have a steady hand). The girls are 7 weeks into flower: there are no amber trichomes, but most trichomes are partly cloudy (30~50%) and a minority is still fully clear. I guess two more weeks before harvest, maybe 1,5 week. I switch to GHE Ripen later this week. I didn’t use such a product during my first grow, so I’m curious to see if it does something good. Besides the two (hopefully sterile) banana’s, the plants look and smell great. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe & keep growing!
