Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. The Strain: Experts Seeds - Expert Gorilla feminized regular. Don’t let the name fool you because Expert Gorilla is suitable for growers of any skill level. However, you do need to be an experienced smoker because Expert Gorilla is one of the most potent strains on the market. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Day 29 - She's looking super healthy! Strong branches, sides are reaching up, no discolorations anywhere. The stretch has been good to her. Watering about every 3 days. ***VIDEO UPDATE*** Day 31 - Fed Tiger Bloom at 1/4 strength. Day 33 - Looks like she handled the nutes just fine, probably take it up to 1/2 strength next time. Day 34 - Watered Day 35 - Looking good, some very light discoloration on some of the lowest leaves. I will up the nutes next feeding.

Primera experiencia de scrog y no estoy muy satisfecho. Las plantas han tenido un estres y han madurado más rápido de lo normal. El resultado son cogollos pequeños. La calidad parece igual. Supongo que ha tocar demasiado las ramas para controlarla con la red es la origen del estres. Era un experimento de defoliación. Lo he hecho en varias plantas para comparar. Es un desastre, vale mejor no tocar las hojas salvo en ciertos casos.

Good day everyone! The most beautiful sunset in the world is the Blue Sherbert Sunset !!))) she's just huge! I did not expect such a size .. and I think I was a little late with switching to flowering .. it could have been earlier .. if I only knew that it grows so fast)) but it’s a sin to complain when your plants are so healthy and big)) I can’t wait for the flowering to start) she’ll just blow up her brain with flowers and beauty!)) I can’t wait! I no longer correct the branches .. now they are on their own, and only grow to the top .. I think to do defoliation after the beginning of flowering .. let's see ..

Final de la sexta semana, corto la primera con 40 días. El resto están sacando los pelillos marrones, unas mas unas menos. Parece que falta poco, olor fuerte.

It's below zero outside and my heater can't keep up. Also the humidifier for this tent broke and I can't afford to replace it right now. It's starting to smell like fruit roll ups, so that's nice. Hopefully reaching the end of stretch.

Beginn Woche 9 Blüte Denke für die rechte wird es die letzte Woche sein, die andren 2 Brauchen wohl noch bißchen länger. Blütetag 60 Die 3 Damen machen sich ganz gut🥀 Vor allem die ganz links wird fast schon dunkelblau/lila😍😍 Trichome sind bei der rechten und mittleren langsam alle trüb, Ember ist noch nix zu sehen.. Mal schaun wie lange sie noch brauchen, aber schätze mal noch max. 2 Wochen.

The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. Despite no A/C in the spot temporarily, things are going perfectly fine, no complaints! Thank goodness I’m just vegging. Temps have been around 87 ish, but the plants seem to love it.

*Week 5 Flower 09/24* Thus far both both plants are flowering and budding nicely, Trichomes are setting in accordingly, Increase in Phosphate and Potassium nute feeds. Both plants have appeared to stop growing in height settling in at 48Inches. Top COLAS are pretty dense and the aroma coming off both of them is bright and vibrant White Hairs are starting to turn bright orange. *Week 5 Flower Mid week update - 09/28* Both plants have reached max height (48 Inches) Bud sites are filling up and have become more dense with trichomes cover through the flowered bud. 60% orange hair coverage - Nearing harvest *Week 5 Flower End week recap 09/30* Both Apple Fritter and Critical+2.0 nearing harvest Cutting back on nute feeds starting tomorrow and will increase clean water feeds Flushing will begin in a week - both will be harvested in 2 weeks.

So far so good.

Nothing much going on here. No LST. Didn’t really takeoff many new leaves. I didn’t check up on the plants for a whole 24 hours. I didn’t notice when I last watered that I had missed a plant as you see in the first video. It went back up in about 6 hours like nothing ever happened to her. When growing many plants it’s very easy to forget to water one or two. That’s why it’s important to water all single file from row to row , starting from the top plant to the bottom plant, all the way though the last sections. Learned the hard way lol

Glue 31 keeper is earning its tenth space

La planta sigue siendo pequeña, pero cada vez queda más claro dónde está concentrando toda su energía: una única flor que continúa cerrándose y acumulando resina. El desarrollo sigue siendo estable y mantengo una nutrición moderada, dejando que la planta avance sin forzarla en esta fase. La estructura del cogollo empieza a verse cada vez más compacta y madura. ⚡ EC: 0.9 💧 pH: 6.2 🌡️ Agua: 21°C 🌫️ Humedad: 45–55% 💡 Intensidad: Luz directa del sol 🔥 Nota de cultivo: Poco tamaño, pero mucha concentración. El cogollo principal sigue ganando volumen, densidad y resina semana tras semana, y empieza a tener una presencia que no parece corresponderse con el tamaño de la planta. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Very sticky snd dense nuggets,tons of resin in this autoflowering strains, they are high quality, as you guys can see both wedding cakes auto by original sensible seeds have the exact same resin production, very frosty both, very sticky and big fat main colas with all the buds from the lower plant are also fat, dense and sticky, just a dream come true 💎 very good automatic strain, doesn't even looks like an auto, super sticky and a very pure and strong aroma, she's been fed with only organic dry amendments by guanokalong complete organics and seaweed powder and florganics that's how I prepared her soil. Hi guys. The girls have settled into producing bigger buds this week and have no signs of issues. I think two of them may have at least 2 or 3 weeks left and the big plant may have 2. This is the time I struggle with the most using autos. The breeder states a harvest time but this is under ideal environmental conditions and I am not clear if I have provided the perfect environment. I am going to let them go until hairs turn 80-90% orange. Overall they are looking frosty and feel very dense. This is the part were being patient is very important and imo the most difficult part of any grow. I just want to cut one bud off and smoke it 🤪 but I won’t. I have uploaded a picture of the new seeds for my next grow. Moving to photoperiods next grow woohoo. If anyone had any suggestions please comment and let me know 🧐 Cheers guys Microgrowery
