🌸 Week 15 from Seed / Week 4 Flower – The Art of Defoliation 🌿 Welcome back to the journey of The White OG by Seedsman Seeds. This week marks a powerful turning point — the mid-flower defoliation — a sacred act of giving space, light, and breath to a girl who’s ready to bloom big. She’s thriving beautifully under the Future of Grow Black Series 600W system, and still running strong on the Aptus Clean Program: • Regulator • System Clean • RO Water Conditioner • All-in-One Liquid The mix lands with a pH of 5.97, an EC of 1.20, and water temp at 18.2°C — right on point. 🌬️ This week’s star event? A serious defoliation. We removed large fan leaves that were shading critical bud sites, allowing light to pour in and airflow to circulate. This isn’t just pruning — it’s breathing room. It’s strategy. It’s sculpting the future. She’s expressing herself now some funky leaf formations, even buds forming in the leaf base itself, a unique phenotype with personality. This is what makes each grow magical. Why defoliation now? • Week 4 is the sweet spot: flowers are forming, stretch is slowing, and now’s the time to open up the canopy without stressing her too much. • It increases light penetration and reduces risk of mold or pests by improving airflow. • It directs energy to the buds, not the blocked, lower leaves. And now she stands proud in her scrog net, breathing deep, stretching wide. She’s no longer hiding. She’s becoming. ⸻ Huge thanks as always to the amazing GrowDiaries community, to Seedsman, to Aptus Holland, to the Future of Grow team, To TrolMaster and to all of you: the followers, supporters, growers, learners, lovers, and even the haters — we grow together 🌱 💚 Come join the journey over on Instagram and YouTube — where the Dognabis Cup is blooming into something beautiful too. See you in the next chapter, my dear friends. Let’s grow. As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and so joyful with you all in my life 🙏

08.05 Day 49 Fortnightly tent clean out, wipe and dry. Moved all the plants around again. 10.05 Sunday Day 51 Cheese cookies is showing signs of severe over feeding. Going to give her just water for a while. The other 3 look great and are coating with resin already. Going to reduce the a+b feed down to 1ml for a while. Big devil and six shooter have a citrusy smell. Sweet cheese smells like pineapple and is the strongest smell out of all. Tuesday 12.05 Day 53 Got my self a tds meter, finally. I'll now be able to make smaller, minute adjustments if necessary. So cheese cookies at the moment is only getting pk boost + head master =650ppm. The other 3 are being fed at 1100ppm, they seem to be loving it. Spread sweet cheese out a little bit more again. So many lovely bud sites on her!👍🌱 Smell is slowly starting to increase but still very mild smells of citrus, pine and tropical fruits. 15.05 Day 55 Buds on the 2 sweet seed plants are getting covered in trichs. The six shooter and cheese cookies are probably going to take alot longer.

So this experiment is going terribly! LOL This ulitmately taught me a few important things about this sytle of growing. 1.) My Frequency was way to high in the beginning. When i start over next, i will be going for 1 hr -> Spray for 1 min -> Wait 1hr (Repeat) 2.) Never reuse hydroton or CC. It ends up having left over material and nutes in it, which not matter how much you wash just make the soil a land mine of nutrients etc. 3.) Do no use rockwool cubes inside the medium, they hold onto water for too long leading to rot. 4.) Fill the buckets up right until about 2cm short of the nozzles that spay. Otherwise you lose too much water and nutrients to the misting, which spreads your nutes all over the enviroment. Ultimately, even though this is a living disaster, I have learnt valuable lessons, and who knows, some of them still might produce smokable flower!

This is the fresh frozen wash from two of the four apricot autos grown, It’s smelling and tasting beautiful, with sharp lime/lemon notes mixed with a tropical pineapple and guava mixed drink, So far test pressed 5g of the 159u-73u live heads and it’s return around 71% with a 3.56g give back, For anyone who cares about whole plant fresh frozen yields, I washed 800g and gained 12/13g of 159u-73u heads

Thiis time I wanted to make all same strain kind of grow. Put the seeds directly in the jiffy pellets in the pot to save some extra work. I always used Aptus nutrients but this time I switched to Biobizz since Aptus isn't imported anymore to my country. So we will see how Biobizz works.

I started germination of 3 Sweet Zkittlez beans on 29/12/2020 (now sweet zenzation). I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Sweet Zkittlez. I've only grown this one out once. Did her up in a 1 gallon SOG grow. It had a very impressive main cola. With quality bud structre and trichome production. The plant had a very luring sexy odor. I was very satisfied with the results. The variety got extra hungry for both p and k mid flower. A little bit needier but definitely worth the extra attention. Very excited to see the results in a full size plant. Giving thus a variety a chance to show me full swing.

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

5/11 - 5/17: I have her in full LST submission..sprawling nicely.👌 I watered her once really well at the start of the week with endoboost, humic acid, silica, cal-mag, molasses, and big bloom...and a little bit of grow big. I foliar fed with boom boom spray one day, and a solution of fulvic acid, cal-mag, big bloom, sweet & sticky, and silica a few days. It rained really heavy on the night of the 15th, so I won't be watering again anytime soon. All her topped shoots are growing out now. I'll have enough soil for a few plants in 3 gallon pots, and from what everybody says, I'd be very happy with some more jars of #7. I spent all 3 seeds to grow this one plant, so I'll try rooting some clones of her soon...👈 This week I received my new portable outdoor misting fan and hoses and got it set up on a timer with just airflow while the lights are on, and once the temps reach about 95f regularly, I'll have my hose timer let 10 minutes of water every 2 hours get misted across the canopy. It should lower the "real feel" by about 25-30 degrees and increase RH considerably. Also hoping that the constant airflow will make them stronger and keep insects off of them somewhat. It will also enable me to easily give them a blow dry if it rains in late flower. But wait...that's not all....it's also gonna be very much more enjoyable for me to sit in the garden and do my thang. 👍 I found a waterproof 200w 3000k light that has two panels that can be independently aimed in different directions. It covers a 3' x 4' area very well. It gets hot as hell, but..it's outdoors, so.... All total, that's 470w watts in 24 sq ft that i'm supplementing with. I've got very vigorous growth, so it seems to be doing the trick,

Week 3 Blossom Ballet: Cherry Cola's Floral Extravaganza Unleashed Greetings, fellow green enthusiasts! We've hit Week 3 in the enchanting flower journey of our beloved Cherry Cola Auto, and let me tell you, the botanical ballet within the tent is reaching an unprecedented crescendo. Our green queen is unleashing a floral extravaganza that's nothing short of spectacular. As we dive into the heart of Week 3, the tent is transformed into a vibrant canvas of blooming beauty. The once-lush bush has metamorphosed into a floral symphony, each bud site a note in a melodious composition. The topping technique deployed earlier is now revealing its full glory, with multiple colas reaching for the spotlight. The decision to release our Cherry Cola from training supports continues to pay dividends. She's embracing her freedom with a wild elegance, and the tent is now an immersive experience of green abundance. The bushy ballet is a testament to the success of our horticultural endeavors, creating a living masterpiece. The topping triumph from the previous weeks echoes in every corner of the tent. The colas have matured into regal structures, each vying for attention in this botanical drama. The decision to venture into topping during the vegetative phase has proven to be a stroke of genius, enhancing both yield potential and structural beauty. Ah, a crucial note in our nutrient symphony! I introduced Potassium (K) to our water mix, adding another layer of vitality to our Cherry Cola's performance. P-Boost's phosphorus prowess, coupled with Topbooster's organic grace, dances in harmony with the added Potassium, contributing to the formation of hefty buds and enhancing the overall flowering response. Visual euphoria reigns supreme as our Cherry Cola daily unfurls new growth, showcasing the sheer energy and vitality she possesses. It's not just a plant; it's a living canvas of horticultural artistry that leaves me in perpetual awe. As we wrap up Week 3, Cherry Cola Auto stands as a living testament to the joy and wonder of cultivation. The floral odyssey is far from over, and the tent is a stage for a botanical performance that promises to linger in our memories. Stay tuned, fellow enthusiasts, as the Cherry Cola Chronicles continue to unfold! Genetics Cherry Cola Auto @Fast_Buds @fastbuds_genetics_official @fastbuds_official @fastbuds_espana Nutrition: @aptusholland @aptus_world @aptus_ Love, Care, and Attention: @dogdoctorofficial As always, thank you all for joining me on this journey, for your love, and for it all. Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I'm a bit bummed about this grow. I've read that you just need to force a plant to flower, that's 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark for the first 3 weeks (I had a tent inside the greenhouse) and then put it outside and it will continue to flower. I thought that was amazing, so I wanted to give it a try. Well, here we are at the end of the 7th week and it looks like the plants are going back into veg. Last year I didn't do up the tent for the last 2 weeks and everything was fine so I thought I would give this keeping it open after the 3rd week a try. Now I know. I can always turn it into hash, maybe dry ice hash. Here's another reason I'm bummed about this grow. I've got spider mites. I'm doing my best to knock them down with my hypochlorous acid. I'm spraying twice a week, but had some yellowish looking leaves, I reread the article (I put up a pic of it a few of weeks ago) and found I had to rinse the indoor plants. So after I sprayed the 1/2 strength acid I waited 10 minutes and rinsed with water. Today I can see more mites than when I sprayed before. So next time I'll wait till the 1/2 acid mix is dry before I rinse the leaves and see if that knocks them down more. If you don't try new things you don't learn. That's what this grow is about, to see if the plants can still keep flowering at my latitude and now that I have mites, to see if the hypochlorous acid will work without killing the plants. Yes, I'm 60 something and still learning. 😃 Be Great. Chuck.

Week 8 Update – Height Issues and Frosty Buds 🌿❄️ No major complaints this week—everything is under control, except for the height of AN#3… but Supercropping to the rescue! 😅 BioBizz#1 – BT30 She’s now using less water, managing 3L every 3 days. Bud development is steady, but compared to AN#4, she’s noticeably less frosty. AN#4 – BT30 This is officially my best and strongest plant so far—super frosty, even on the large fan leaves! 😍 She’s also down to 3.5L every 3 days and thriving. AN#3 – BT26 Not performing as well as the others, mainly due to the light distance. At times, there’s only 4cm clearance from the lamp! She’s definitely not loving it, but I’ve managed to keep things under control with Supercropping. I have to admit, the stretch on this strain caught me off guard, and I’m not entirely happy about it. 😅
