GHSC enhancer was added during a pouring (1 g per l) The tent was cleaned every day this week and the plants were checked for health. The humidifier is filled once a day. Next week I will decide how I will continue the training because I have space again in the flower tent 😀. This week I'll decide whether it goes straight into the flower tent or is pruned again. 🌿 Woche 12 – Mentha de Croco 🇩🇪 Beide Mentha de Croco haben in der vergangenen Woche einen beeindruckenden Wachstumsschub hingelegt und sind von 112 cm auf stolze 131 cm angewachsen 🚀. Die heißen Sommertemperaturen von deutlich über 30 °C ☀️🌡️ sorgen aktuell für einen hohen Wasserbedarf, sodass jede Pflanze momentan etwa 4,5 Liter täglich trinkt 💧. Interessanterweise zeigen beide Pflanzen einen völlig unterschiedlichen Wuchs. Eine entwickelt sich sehr säulenförmig, während die andere eher an einen klassischen Tannenbaum erinnert 🌲. Trotz der unterschiedlichen Struktur sehen beide Pflanzen hervorragend aus und zeigen sich in bester Gesundheit 💚✨. Zur Unterstützung des Bodenlebens und der allgemeinen Vitalität gibt es einmal pro Woche im Wechsel entweder einen Komposttee ?🍵 oder ein Brennnessel-Ackerschachtelhalm-Ferment 🌿. Mit den aktuellen Bedingungen dürfen die nächsten Wochen sehr spannend werden! ☀️🌱 🌿 Week 12 – Mentha de Croco 🇬🇧 Both Mentha de Croco plants experienced an impressive growth spurt over the past week, stretching from 112 cm to a remarkable 131 cm 🚀. With summer temperatures well above 30°C ☀️🌡️, their water demand has increased significantly, and each plant is currently drinking around 4.5 liters per day 💧. Interestingly, both plants display completely different growth patterns. One is developing into a tall, column-like structure , while the other resembles a classic Christmas tree shape 🌲. Despite their different architectures, both plants look exceptionally healthy and vigorous 💚✨. To support soil life and overall plant health, they receive either a compost tea ?🍵 or a nettle and horsetail ferment 🌿 once a week, alternating between the two. With the current conditions, the coming weeks should be very exciting! ☀️🌱

The summer was super wet and humid so she lost 2 of the big buds to mold. Other than that she did great! really big, vigorous and heavy, dense buds. All arround winner. Really looking forward to the seeds. These plants are not mine. I am just documenting them. In the seventh week, I am preparing a detailed essay to explain my training method. I plan to increase the nutrient solution dosage to 35ml, including Warmcasts, seaweed, and a flower mix I concocted. Additionally, I will introduce 100% Gaba powder at half a teaspoon, mixed with water, to be administered at nighttime for the next two weeks. This natural chemical compound can help the plant relax and alleviate stress as it transitions into the pre-flowering stage and starts producing flowers. On the 11th of January, I completed the last defoliation procedure before the plant enters the pre-flowering stage in three days. I observed that the DLI (Daily Light Integral) reading is a bit high, and the light is positioned at the top. Therefore, I aim to adjust the light to achieve an ideal DLI range between 20-30. There is currently no CO2 supplementation in place. On the 12th of January, I eagerly await the pre-flowering stage and anticipate its onset in a few more days. It's time to initiate a 3-day mid-drying period. A notable event on the 12th of January was the arrival and easy installation of the Spectrum King Sk600. The brightness of this new light is noticeably superior compared to the Budmasters. On the 13th of January, the plants experienced the first half-day under the SK600, and everything appears to be in good condition. Furthermore, I decided to move one of the vegetative plants, "Mango Skunk," into the flower tent on the same day. Additionally, there was a rearrangement of the lights in the flower tent, with the Spectrum King SK600 and Cropmaster Pro 1000 DIY being utilized. The readings for both lights were documented as follows: DLI - 197 u/mols, PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) - 3000 and up at 23 inches from the canopy, PPFD 2942 at 24 inches from the canopy. I also applied blood fish and bone on topsoil and worked it in, using 2 cups of the mixture on the 14th of January. It was a relatively quiet day, and to lighten the growing mood, I took a quick video and uploaded some pictures of my dog Martina, showcasing her journey from a puppy. The bottom node leaves are significantly large, leading me to anticipate massive buds in the future. Late-night observations revealed that Pablo, a plant in the tent, may not have fully stretched to fill the available space, suggesting that it could be male. On the other hand, the forgotten haze cakes strain occupies a substantial portion of the tent, showcasing positive training outcomes. On January 15, 2024, I removed the twist ties from the cola stalks to allow for better airflow and to support the unrestricted growth of the plants. The following day, I took some photos to document the progress of the plants. It's always fascinating to visually track their development over time. Also on January 16, a plant named "Freaky Pablo" displayed unusual characteristics, signaling that it might be a male plant. To prevent any potential pollination issues, I decided to remove "Freaky Pablo" from the grow space. On the same day, I observed the presence of pre-flowers, indicating the beginning of the flowering stage. This marks an exciting phase in the growing process as the plants transition to a crucial stage of their life cycle. During this time, I made some adjustments to the positioning of the "Mango Skunk" plant, initially moving it up to the top bed and then deciding to move it back to the bottom. On January 18, I noted that the lights were turned on, marking the start of the flowering phase. This is a significant milestone in the plant's development as it shifts its focus from vegetative growth to flower production. Additionally, I relocated a plant named "Spicy Temp" to the flower tent. This move ensures that all plants in the flowering stage are in the optimal environment for the next phase of their growth. Overall, it appears that the grow operation is progressing well, and I am looking forward to witnessing how the plants continue to develop. And finally, here's a joke for you: What did one plant say to the other? "Hey bud, how's it growing?" I am not, because i am dead!

Week 6 Flower Report: Maturation in Full Swing! 🌟 Welcome to the week where the magic of maturation takes center stage! 🌟 The garden has reached a pivotal moment as the trichomes are bursting with potential. Each one a glittering universe, they are the undeniable stars of this show, taking over every surface with their frosty brilliance. ✨ Watching them evolve is like witnessing art being created in real time – it’s a reminder of the beauty and patience this craft demands. Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. The roots had begun to demand more. No longer content within their smaller vessels, the chosen plants of Eldritch Gardens were transferred into greater chambers, black containers vast enough to house the expanding hunger beneath the soil. Plant #1 — The Fat One — emerged as the largest presence within the garden. Broad, vigorous, and deeply rooted in its new domain, it stood like some ancient green monolith beneath the false sun. Plant #2 — The Battered One — continued its unnatural ascent through the ranks of growth. Node after node unfolded with terrifying efficiency, each new layer arriving before the others. The crimson coloration remained. The pale markings upon certain leaves lingered like cryptic symbols written in chlorophyll and flesh. Perhaps the LEDs demanded a price. Plant #5 — The Red One — Though still alive and developing, Yellow hues now crept softly through parts of the foliage, subtle as old parchment aging beneath candlelight. The red stems deepened further, veins illuminated beneath the cold LED glow like blood beneath translucent skin.

Still moving in the right direction but I appear about to be taught a hard earned lesson to have my soil tested more often if I’m gonna keep growing with the same soil for each grow. It looks like I may have possibly a cal/mag deficiency? I use RO/DI water in my reservoir as unfiltered the water out of my tap is around 9.6 ph. I know people say living soil doesn’t need ph’d water but I feel like a ph of almost 10 is probably pushing it lol. So I filter itbut because of that it has no calcium or magnesium. I bet I didn’t supplement the soil thoroughly/balanced enough and it was on the low end and now has used it up. I bought some buildaveg from buildasoil and will apply it via foliage spray and see how the new growth looks. I haven’t had any calmag issues in the past few grows with this soil so it’s quite possible I just didn’t amend the soil balanced enough before I started this grow. The buildasoil cover crop is wild! It’s really putting out some unexpected but very welcome colors! The red is beautiful. I should bring out my macro lens and real camera and get a shot or two while the colors are peak red. The cover crop grows fast! If I don’t trim it every two days I fear it may take over the world it is growing so fast. Worms in the soil are active as heck at night. Very healthy population of red wigglers. I shot a 6 night timelapse video and at night the ir camera shows how active they really are. Super wild to watch the rarely seen world of worms doing their thing. Hoping my attempt to fix whatever deficiency I have is a solution and then I’ll scrog her and then send her to flower. We shall see!

Week 7 of flower in the books and the Kush is in the home stretch. Pistils are all turning orange and buds are getting thick and resinous. She's got a nice citrusy smell and the colas are all swaying in the breeze. Shout out to Seedsman for these stable genetics. No deficiencies or issues that I had to fix along the way. Really happy I still have a couple more seeds left over.

OK guys I've shut them down to 4hrs light a day for 2 days now. They have really filled out those buds and are looking extra sugary. I have been watering with 140ppm water at 6.2-7 pH with flawless finish for 6 days now. I have just given them probably the last watering will leave them for another 3-5 days on 4hr schedule before turning lights off for 2 days and then harvesting. Next diary will be the harvest!! I hope nothing goes tits up from here😂
