I’m happy to have had a 1st harvest on GD as when I started I got locked up (fdp) but Im happy with the honey cream and I’ve learned so much this time too so I should be able to do better next time as I noticed on my other plants the water was so dry down the bottom I pruned the roots so I’ll take time to water correctly! OG and CBD got the chop yesterday. Sorry I forgot to take pics of it. I was rushing through it as we had dinner plans and it took way longer than I expected. Was also pretty baked which didn’t help lol. They’re currently drying at buddy’s house so will take pics next week. OG was probably a bit early but I don’t mind an energetic high. She was also battling rot so I wanted to salvage as much as I could. Should get close to a pound from her and maybe a half pound from CBD. Gonna give Shark Shock one more week as she’s a bit behind the others. I’m not worried about rot as she’s been the most resilient. Temps are gonna get to the low single digits so I hope it doesn’t stress her too much. Her leaves are turning purple from the colder weather already.

Day 15 and things are rolling right along.Ive just been giving ph water until the pots are dry.Noticing a lot of growth last few days and they are looking good.Ive decided to go from the 24 hour straight to 20 hours on 4 off light schedule.I have never really noticed much of a difference with auto flower from 18/6,20/4,and 24 hours on the light schedule.I think it is best for the equipment to give them a short rest time.I do like the consistency of the environment with 24 hours during the winter time though :)

Cruising. Kept the nutrients the same as last week as the plants are going a bit slower than advertised by crop king and Sonoma seeds. Looking like flowering will take ~10 weeks when all said and done. Minor amount of defoliation done. Will be the last time to make sure I don’t stunt these autos. And ONLY defoliating. No pruning as I’m too afraid it will stunt the plants. Lots of buds forming now. Plants looking great. Noticed that the sun shines through my windows for several hours and directly onto the plants so I have started opening up the tent everyday and letting the sun shine on them. Helping to ripen the lower buds and have them be less larfy when all said and done. This does cause the plants to drink water like no other so have had to up the volume on fertigations. I’ve been using a LUX meter to check and make sure top colas aren’t getting too much light. The thing works great! Well worth the purchase. My mothers on the other side of the tent are big so need less light and as a result I have been able to move two of their lights in close to the flowering autos. The additional light is definitely helping bulk up the plant. Currently over the two plants there is (as listed) an HLG 135w Rspec, an HLG 100 V2 3000k, an HLG 65 V2 4000k and a Mars Hydro TS600. Tons of light! I’m in isolation as 2 of my housemates got COVID. As a result, I have a LOT of time to spend babying these plants and it is paying off. See you next week!

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. I have grown RQS a few times but this is my first RQS diary. The seed took 36hrs to pop and sprout in the wet paper towel. It only took another 36hrs to come fully out of the ground and loose it’s shell. I started with the lights 70cm’s from the soil which was giving a LUX💡reading of 25,000lux💡.Once the seedling 🌱 got to 5cm’s I raised the light by 5cm again to keep the distance at 70cm’s maintaining a reading of 25,000Lux💡 at the top of the seedling 🌱. On previous grows I started with the light at 80cm’s but I was getting stretching. I find if I start at 70cm’s and don’t raise the light after a day or two that the seedling 🌱 can get light burn. HUMIDITY: As you can see in photos I have milk bottle tops full of water next to the seedling. I’ve been this for a while now. I have my seedling next to a plant only a few weeks away from harvest so I need to keep the overall humidity low. I might be crazy and wasting my time but it makes sense to me. I leave these bottle tops near the seedling and over the space of a day the water evaporates off and then I refill them again with water (PH’d water). I reckon if the water is evaporating off so close to the seedling that it must be creating some extra humidity around the seedling 🌱. For the record I don’t think the earth 🌍 is flat. *I’m using RQS nutrients for this grow. I am recording the nutrients as 0.5ml as there is not a tablet option so what I mean by 0.5 is half of one tablet per 2ltrs of water. 🦍Day 3: Watered around the edges of the seedling 🌱 just to dampen the soil a bit 🦍Day 5: Dampened soil again. Looking good so far. 🦍Day 7: Gave very light watering. Happy with the height of the seedling 🌱. The light distance seems to have worked well.

The plants were doing great, i feel that this strain can go for a better grow. Overwatering was an issue for me because of this strain packs buds and leaves are very little on it. Next grow for this strain i will need to improvise the watering schedule. This strain takes up very little water.
