Week 21: August 16 2020 - August 22 2020 Great week, weather-wise except for some strong winds in the middle of the week. Some branches and leaves took some damage and went a little limp, but they all seem to have bounced back. Still more yellowing, I'm pulling dead leaves off the plants pretty much every day. I know it's natural and it has been a bit cooler at night recently, but I'm still a little bit concerned. Now we are going to week four, the plants have started to really vegetate, I have seen rapid growth in cannabis and other plants before, however, this strain is growing very large at a tremendous pace. I am having no issues so far, I am doing very light training and I started using pH down, as the plants ingest the nutrients the pH is rapidly rising. I hope to preserve perfect pH within the next week and continue on. I have been adding a gallon of water every three days to keep the reservoir at the right level. The plants are receiving a constant PPM of 400. Not only am I seeing five-finger leaves but I am also seeing seven-finger leaves. The plants are looking very healthy and there are no issues at all so far. I have Started to train the plants and started mainlining, I have also slightly defoliated the plant. This Plant is overgrowing the free seed from seedsmen. ( in hindsight I have never gotten any good free seeds from seedsmen) Science: There are a few ideas in this grow journal that I am toying with. The first idea is putting low-voltage conduction through the roots of the plants, I strongly believe that stimulating the the roots with electricity will induce larger and stronger vegetation. The other idea is blasting the plants with low decibel sound waves. We will see. There is another idea I have with string LED lights. However, I'm going to keep some of my secret sauce to myself.

Mad heatwaves this week has really made these girls take off I'm still lst them along the soil floor and hidden amongst other plants. Just a little fun whatever happens with them it's not a big deal

Only running 1 Thin Mint x Cookies + Cream its front left in the tent, great internodal spacing came highly recommended. Switching to Bloom nutrients, two part Cropsalt. Irrigation frequency will be adjusted as flower development drastically increases over the next two weeks.

Lowered the lights a good 8-10inches just because i realized i could get them closer without burning! Going for around 6-7 inches above canopy getting the temp in the high 70s low 80s om top canopy. continua il training devo dire che sono un po' arrugginito (non piu bravo come una volta) cmq il tutto va al meglio la cima apicale risulta un po' piu alta del resto ma ci puo stare anche perche, come si vede, tutte le cime sono ben illuminate problemi di fertilizzazione quasi nessuno a differenza delle altre che hanno sofferto,come al solito,di carenza di calcio e magnesio il profumo si fa sentire...non vedo l'ora di vederla in fioritura piena cosa ho fatto questa settimana: fertirrigazione ogni 2 giorni perche ho aumentato le dimensioni del vaso e le radici devono ancora espandersi anche se escono gia dai fori in basso... nelle prossime settimane la fertirrigazione sara' giornaliera aggiustamenti al LST con rimozione delle foglie piu basse e qualche rametto esterno

Its day 25 since sproud and the plants are looking good so far. The jslow stress training with the clips works as expected and the branches are getting thicker and more robust. Defoliation on day 34. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

A great week. Included a diagram so you can better tell which plant is which. I will be changing that up come flower to better fit the plants so I'll label them later as well. Gonna flip to flower I believe to try and save space. Gonna be tight but wasn't planning that this time. Have to do a lot of training still. Haven't gotten to it due to being so busy with life. The end is very near another day or so thinking Saturday smell is very pungent and colours are truly showing on these ones been giving plain ph,d water for the last week and todays been 8 weeks and 3 days flower time really enjoyed doing these unknown mixes but think I'm going to do some named strains next time will update in the next coming days on chop and wet weight thankyou for viewing and happy growing

Going to update a smoke report after drying. Going to do a 3 stage sampling on the cure to find the best time. Small bowl with no cure, small bowl after 1 week cure. If needed, one more test on the 2nd week of curing. Got smaller buds on this one but that is ok. Moreso excited on profile. Going to update the yield tonight

Everything seems to be going great. The Maverick had some leaf deformations but they went away. After 4 years of growing, this Maverick seems like it beast with all that foliage underneath I've never seen anything like that. I will be topping Maverick today. The blue dream looks awesome it's a slow grower and the leaves are very thin and fragile. Other than that it looks beautiful very nice and even growth. One more thing I wanted to mention is that I have a light with options for blue spectrum, red spectrum and/or both. I see everyone online say to use both blue/red from seed to harvest. Well I'm here to tell you that the blue light for veg works great plus it saves about 25 bucks a month in electric. So if you want to save money just use the blue light for veg I doubt it will make much of a difference putting on both. Plus that's what most manufacturers recommend. Peace!!!
