Strawberry Gorilla Automatic - FastBuds Day 71 - watered with 1L of RO tap water with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. This will be the last feeding with full nutrients as I now start to prepare her for harvest! Her next feed will include half of the defined nutrient units and then she will have her first flush! 👍🏻 She has taken on a beautiful purple hue on her flower now along with the deep purple on her leaves, this combined with the white and amber of the pistils, and the lime green on the bud sites, really makes her pop and shimmer, shes very beautiful!😍 Her armoa is really starting to come out now too, she smells just like strawberries and candy! Her trichomes are mostly milky with some starting to turn amber, so I'd say another few days and she'll be ready for harvest! I know she wont have a huge yield, but the point of this micro grow, was to find out more about the strain and how what a micro grow could achieve, so no matter the yield, I am super happy with the results so far - to the point where I am planning to have two micro grows in my next grow (TB SkillteZ by Bulldog Seeds & Pineapple Express F1 by Zamnesia)🙌

June 21st I got my first deficiency and I leaned how to correct it and get the plants back to life again, I figured it was my calcium levels dipping so I added some gypsum and they were fine

I seperated them now. The bigger one stays in the 90ltr Pot. The other got in a 13ltr pot. Later in 20ltr. Topping the small on in 1 or 2 weeks. Than LST and 12/12. Its a bit hot the next weeks. Have to look more after the plants.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... 18. November Die sechste Woche ist angebrochen. Heute keine Einsicht unternommen. 19. November Die Begleiter kommt so langsam aus der Erde. Sind noch wenige. Spätestens in einer Woche neu nachlegen, falls nicht ausreichend wachsen. Die drei Damen entwickeln sich prächtig. Stresssymptome durch das schneiden sind kaum noch bemerkbar. Cookies gelato kommt mit den neuen Hauptrieben sehr gut zurecht. Wachstumstempo hat deutlich zugenommen. Tropimango sieht deutlich gesünder aus. Auch bei ihr ist endlich mal etwas Tempo im Wachstum spürbar. Die Runtz fühlt sich aktuell so an als würde sie den Rahmen des Zeltes sprengen wollen, sobald es in den blütestretch geht. Die Triebe haben sehr dicke Stämme, die Blätter sind verhältnismäßig zu den anderen Pflanzen sehr groß. Selbst neu entwickelte Triebe und Blätter starten deutlich größer als ich es bisher gewohnt bin. Aber schaun wa mal was wird… was wird. Der Fimmingschnitt hat mir einen schrägen Trieb hervorgebracht. Ka was ich damit machen soll. Nächstes Mal halt gerade schneiden 🤝 20. November Runtz hat ein unglaubliches Wachstumsbedürfnis. Ihre Blätter sind riesig und tiefgrün. Sie verdeckt innerhalb von Stunden erneut ihre anderen Triebe Sie trinkt auch deutlich mehr als die Cookie & Tropi. Hab ihr heute nochmal 3l Wasser mit dem vollem Düngerprogramm zugemutet. Die anderen beiden kommen gut voran, haben allerdings noch kein Wasser bekommen. Die Töpfe sind noch zu schwer. Tropimango wuchert in alle Richtungen Cookies Gelato darf weiterhin an Höhe gewinnen. Ich spiele mit dem Gedanken sie kurz vor dem Wechsel in die Blüte erneut zu toppen. 😅 21. November Die Cookies gelato wurde mit 3l Wasser versorgt. Zusätzlich gabs noch 1ml power buds von plagron. Kleine Vorbereitung auf die Blüte. Tropimango hat 2l Wasser mit den normalen düngeschema erhalten. Runtz wurde gestern mit 3l versorgt, ebenfalls normale düngeschema. Zusätzlich hab ich ihr die großen Blätter genommen, sowie die seitentriebe neu ausgerichtet 22. November Habe bei der Runtz den schiefen Trieb abgeschnitten. Er ist leider viel zu verstümmelt. Die Idee war dass dieser Trieb dementsprechend der Pflanze Zuviel Energie zieht, die sie an einer anderen Stelle besser investieren könnte. Daher im heute der Schnitt Cookies Gelato gewinnt an Höhe. Im Verhältnis zur Runtz ist sie unglaublich gut ausgeprägt, ist allerdings auch 14 Tage älter. Die Tropimango sieht weiterhin merkwürdig aus. Ich kann leider nicht sagen ob ich beim Erde mischen irgendwas falsch gemacht habe. Weiß auch nicht wie ich drauf Einfluss nehmen könnte. Aber sie wächst. Von daher geht’s einfach weiter. 23. November Die Woche neigt sich so langsam dem Ende zu. Nach ewigem umentwcheiden kam ich jetzt dennoch zu dem Entschluss, die Pflanzen zu Beginn der neuen Woche in die Blüte zu schicken. Die Cookies gelato hat daher noch ihr letztes topping bekommen. Nachdem sie einen ordentlichen Wachstumsschub bekommen hat, gehe ich von aus dass sie es gut wegsteckt. Die tropimango gefällt mir immer besser :) Ich hoffe sie geht in der Blüte nicht unter, da sie eine babygenetik ist. Runtz (irgendwie hört sich der Name eklig an. Muss da an einen alten Mann denken, der seine Nase hochzieht und dann auf den Boden spuckt) wird so wie sie wird. Der Stamm ist super stabil aber sie ist verhältnismäßig klein für ihr Alter. Dafür produziert sie immer noch riesige Blätter. Cookies gelato ist nun 39 Tage alt. Tropimango ist nun 36 Tage alt. Runtz ist nun 25 Tage alt.

Topped them end of last week, still not given them feed as the farmyard manure they were planted straight into seems to be giving them what they need so far, I've given them rain water when they needed it. Hopefully the sun will return this coming week 🌞

The smells on these autos is just insane! Great terps, decent yield for an auto and should have been better but I screwed up the DWC in the transition weeks/- hard with multiple autos in one dwc bucket

Just got back from a 10-day vacation and the Gorilla Melon has completely lost its mind! The AutoPot system worked flawlessly—the reservoir ran bone dry literally right as I walked through the door, so talk about perfect timing. The girl absolutely exploded during the summer heatwave and turned into a massive jungle monster, to the point where she’s literally knocking on the ceiling fan. The thrips are still a problem, though. The green lacewing larvae did not win the war while I was away. I will need to cut some leaves that don't look good and do a major cleanup. In just a few minutes, I’m taking the trimmers out to hack about 50 cm off the top to control her height and completely strip the bottom third for some fresh airflow. But overall, we are still in a good mood. Time to shape her up!

the last week before harvest was a bit exciting again. powdery mildew developed on one of the other plants in the outdoor area. luckily it didn't spread. it didn't get any fertiliser in the last week and was only watered sporadically. at the beginning of the week it was given an ice bath treatment. it has developed beautiful buds and smells fantastic.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

For this grow I've used, For the growth 1 sf1000 2 fan 15w 1 extractor 150mm 350m3/h 1 carbon filter 150mm 1 Hydro Shoot 60x60x140 1 timer 1 thermostat Heating system for the winter month 11l RQS Fabric Pot and 11l plastic pot. 20 Hours On, 4 hours off light For the soil I've used plagron light mix ont the top + batmix in down pot + rqs pellets. For the blooming 1 Mars Hydro TS1000 (150W) 2 fan 15w Extractor + Filter 150mm 1 HS60 box 1 timer Same pots 20/04 Plagron lightmix + batmix + RQS Pellet After harvest, I've put the stuff in a room with 2 fan 15w, weather are really hot and dry, condition are not well, around 25/32*C and 40%HR, hope will be not dry too fastest. So heres my germination method. Soak/shake seeds in 3% h202 solution for a few minutes and let sit until tiny bubbles form on seed coat. Rinsed in clean rain water. Then placed in HPO's GREEN-SUPREME used as seed soak solution. With a small amount of ANTI-MATTER for enzymes. Soaked 12hrs (mostly I just soak a few hrs) Straight into Gro-Dirt Super Starter soil. Watered seeds in gently with diluted DARK-MATTER solution to get the mycorrhizal species attached as soon as possible. Once they came up, 18-24hrs later, sprayed gently with a mix of GREEN-SUPREME & RHIZO-MOJO Just a small pinch of both in a 1ltr spray bottle. All this was done in a dark warm place on a heat mat.
