Feb 14 Sherbet has just about outgrown it's pot, time to transplant into the 3 gallon bucket: it's final home. The process could have gone easier, as it took a bit to get it out of the planter and the soil wound up filling in a bit of the hole so it's planted a little higher than I wanted. I've turned the light up to 75% to get the plant used to it. Feb 17 Having another light on the other plant in the tent bumped up the temps to low 80s.

Great grow, dealt with some pests that took a few plants from me . But overall my best grow quality so far and I’m very happy with the grow!

Left it over the weekend with no water and it looks like we got some great growth. The fungus mosquitos came back unfortunately, gonna need to figure out a better solution. Next week we flower!

Day 78 - Amazing Buds! WOW! a. this plant's buds just keep maturing! Pistils are going red/orange/brown b. the trichome heads are mostly white, not seeing amber yet c. i cant believe how dense these buds are! Day 79 - she drinks! a. she is drinking 4L a day right now, slowing down a little b. pistils are about 50% colored, and the trichomes are very milky, a few clears c. she is ripening up nice in this flush, many fan leaves are being disconnected by the plant, she is near the end of her life, I am removing many fan leaves per day without force, they just fall off the bud d. the effects are really good, I dried a small bud, and the effects are nice Day 80 - ripening nicely a. the buds are all maturing, pistils turning brown b. the resin is building up on all the buds, the trichome heads are mostly milky white Day 81 - DWC change a. another change out for fresh water, the flush is making the buds so frosty and smell so good! b. drinking about 4 litres a day still, 12/12 hours light is working well Day 82 - real monster plant a. her buds are as big as my arm, and the smell is so intense! b. the fresh water flush is the way to go! Day 83 - trichomes are 90% milky a. she is ripening very nicely, has about 80% brown pistils Day 84 - iced out a. the amount of resin that is being produced is unreal! b. I dont see any amber trichomes yet, she has some time!

Nutrients up untill flowering, bad idea. Substrate is 50/50 dirt and hydro, so hard for the roots I think. Not a big harvest, but trichomes were getting brown. These last series of harvest was really small!!!

Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. She unfortunately molded a bit and my friend had to harvest her while i was on vacation. Really should add a fan to my setup....
