Glücklicherweise waren die letzten drei Tage (ein Abgesang auf den Sommer) sehr sonnig, warm und ausreichend windig, so dass die Shaman trocken geerntet werden konnte. Sie zeigte, wie viele Bäume auch, ein beginnendes Herbstkleid in den Farben des Indian Summers. Einige sehr geringe Schimmelstellen waren vorhanden, hervorgerufen durch mein fehlerhaftes Entblättern. Die Verluste waren jedoch sehr gering. Ich freue mich nun auf die Trocknung und das Curing. Der Rotrim und der Endtrim werden noch einige Stunden in Anspruch nehmen, das ist der Nachteil an großen Outdoor-Pflanzen.😀👌 --- The last week was very mixed. Fortunately, the last three days (a swansong to summer) were very sunny, warm and sufficiently windy so that the Shaman could be harvested dry. Like many trees, it showed the beginnings of autumn in the colours of Indian summer. There were a few very small patches of mould, caused by my incorrect defoliation. However, the losses were very small. I am now looking forward to drying and curing. The rotrim and final trim will take a few more hours, which is the downside of large outdoor plants. 😀👌

Week 6 Day 7 Flower They are all very frosty now, smell is pungent and hairs are turning brown but they still have a lot of potential for more weight yet and the trichs are still clear. I reckon I'm going to run week 7 as normal then run week 8 with shogun dragon force/sumo active and flush with water week 9 and 10. Anyone know if it's ok to run terpinator alongside dragon force and sumo active in last week before final water flush? The npk of terpinator is only 0-0-4 what's your thoughts @shogun your advice is always gold. Weird and wonderful development in the garden, if you look at the pics you will notice that one of the girls has thrown out buds in the centre of it's leaves. I've seen pictures of this before but it's a first in my garden and strange considering it's only one plant yet all are cuts from the same mother grown in the same system feeding from the same reservoir and I've grown from this mother before also but never seen this. Since joining growdiaries I’ve seen that 420 Fastbuds are one of the (if not) the most notorious genetics on here.. so I’ve got my hands on some Fastberry seeds (which with the promotion I got one free!!) I’ve been very bored with the kind of weed I have been smoking recently the taste of the buds aren’t too great so I’m very excited to give this strain a try with the promise of berry flavoured weed!!! Happy growing! Mon 8th March - after a few days of being in a damp paper towel stored in a dark warm place she’s popped a little tap root. I will leave until tomorrow then I’ll plant her directly into her final 3 gallon pot. 🍁 Tue 9th March - Placed into her final pot gave her a little water and placed dome over her until she pops.

Critical is finishing way fast.. don't know if I can keep her alive till next weekend but heck I'll try and let her die on her foot if she has to:) Been flushing all the other gals twice now. Temps are getting out of hands and I've raised the lamps to about 40-50cm height running only 50ish percent and I'm still burning them up. Been feeding them way too much since the beginning so there should be enough nutrients in the soil to finish up properly with just water. Noticed a couple of fresh nanners popping up here and there and at least one almost fully matured seed on the faster Critical, nothing too serious and no wonder since all the issues I've been running. Loads of tiny foxtailing on almost all of the plants even though I always raised the lamps a bit when i saw them forming.. definitely need a PAR meter since two 300W+ led panels are quite an overkill on a tent this size full blast. Still looks like solid harvest coming up and I hope to find a decent glass on sale to getter better quality photos on the harvest:) Keep on growing guys and enjoy the newest timelapse! Week one of flush.

Hi alle zusammen 😉 Nachdem Sweet Seeds mir 3 Sorten gesponsert hat hab ich noch eine 4 Sorte dazu gekauft weil ich 4×4 in 7 Liter machen wollte .Am Abend des 28.10.24 wurden die Samen in Easy Plug's gesteckt und mit einer leichten Nährlösung angegossen.In der Lösung befand sich Hesi Wurzel Complex & Hesi Superfit , dazu noch eine 3% Wasserstoffperoxid - Lösung damit die Babys es ein wenig leichter haben ! Nachdem alle Gekeimt sind außer eine Gorilla Girl wurden sie gleich in den Easy Block umgesetzt .Schlau wie ich war habe ich gleich am Anfang einen Ersatz Samen mit angesetzt (Sweet Seeds S.A.D Fast Version)Dieser ersetzt jetzt die fehlende Gorilla Girl.Leider hab ich vergessen mehr Leistung mit der Lampe zu geben , worauf sie ein wenig in die Höhe gewachsen sind .Aber alles noch im Rahmen. 😉 Jetzt werden sie für ein paar Tage in in meiner Anzucht-Box verbringen bevor es ins Zelt geht .

Did heavy LST on 4 of em 0 damage I bent the tallest bus by slowly massaging the trunk and te downs watering every three days up too 800 ppm of Fox Farm Cutivation Nation 4/35/26 PK Booster and 550 on small 1 gallon pots I put in worm castings pulverized egg shells 10/10/10 slow release granules and Mychorizal additives and gypsum granules mixed into the top soil I water with spray first a cup or two and do a light foliage on plants then I water appropriately 1.5 liters each third day

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our weather has moderated somewhat with daytime high temp's now in the 89-93℉ range but it still remains very dry requiring the daily watering to continue. 8/5- Today I watered the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod as usual at sunset with around 8g of well water from the garden hose. 8/7- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers from today through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! I am going to add a 7 foot support stake next to the plant to help support her if we should get any high winds. 8/9- I'm thankful for the support stake that I installed next to the plant, then tied the plant to it as we encountered pretty strong winds yesterday and I think that without the stake, the plant may have gotten knocked over! The rain is supposed to end this evening and be sunny tomorrow so I'll be outside first thing in the morning to check on the plant to see how she made out through the storms. Hopefully next week the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod by FastBuds will be shifting gears and then the fun can begin!!! Let’s Go Day 67 from seed !! So this week went real great! 2 Ogreberrys an Bruce Banner started getting flushed! The rest will follow up and start flush next week ! Today the 3 will continue getting flushed while the 3 others get there dose of nutrients, PHd at 6.5! Let’s grow lil ladies let’s grow!!! Drying back and plants have grown a ton, did some defoliation and cleared the tops. Apologies for the sound muffling in the video. Wish I had a trellis net to put up, would've done it around this week to even up the canopy during stretch.
