This week has been extremely hot! Inside the tent reaching up to 30C ! So I’m going to need to get that in check this week, she seems to be handling it like an absolute trooper though!

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Week 4 is here! putting in some over time with the leaf tucking, this girl is very short and bushy! Prepping for her stretch, opening the plant out nicely so light can hit deep down. She is stretching slowly and throwing pistils everywhere. Im holding fingers she stretches some more

Frohes neues! 🎆 Nach einer Woche Abwesenheit, kam ich heute zu diesen ganzschönen dichten Büschen und bereits etwas entwickelten Buds zurück, die Bewässerung lief top. Allerdings ist mir ein Tripsbefall direkt ins Auge gesprungen, unübersehbar... Entsprechend habe ich dannach begonnen zu defolieren, wir haben Tag 20 der Blüte. Vorallem bei der GSC extrem, da von ihr der Befall ausging. Raubmilden habe ich mir heute bestellt und ich hoffe, mit der starken Entlaubung, die drei noch gut durch die Blüte zubekommen.

Stretching real hard

It's amazing to think that this tiny sprout will one day be a beautiful, vibrant weed plant. I've nicknamed it Soap Tiny, and it's such a joy to watch it grow! Right now, it's just a few delicate leaves poking out of the soil, but I can't wait to see it reach its full potential. I have a feeling this little plant is going to bring me so much happiness.

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. So after 106 days + 11 days drying im finally done with my first grow. Got 97g dry buds + 30g shake Way more then i anticipated. Alot of the buds are pretty airy but the top ones qre pretty solid and all of them have amazing coat of trichomes. Im so greatful i had this experience. I learnt alot and have way more confidence to grow more and my plan was to have my first grow to anwser all the questions i had. Im cant believe i spent less then 300$ on this setup and harvested equals to like 1,500 - 1,700 $ of buds(prices in my country) thats definitely going to help me with the economy situation right now. And all this was stealth inside my closet, i had family members comming and didn't notice nothing i just had to turn off the blower fan since it's the only thing in my setup which isn't stealth. I know i didn't gave her the best conditions but she showed me how strong is a Cannabis plant 😍 Im just starting my 2nd grow - Auto Northen Lights. Stay tuned

Still only fed every other day, should've started feeding every day if not twice a day by now. Also regret not trimming up more this week, the lack of defoliation definitely hurt the size and yields of the buds. As a first time grower, it was confusing how the buds would form and how intense the defoliating was needed to be. Learned that doing a heavy stripping on Week 3 of flower is ideal for chunkier nugs. These emerging flowers were super refreshing to see at the time.

Day 43 Watered them with feeding but a bit less than in Chart. Ppm is still high but because I got bio-fertilizer I think it should be okay 👍🏽. I also set the light from stage 7 to stage 9 so far the plants seem to like it. Will give an update on day 45. Day 50 Trying to fix the overfeeding. looked good Day 53 Still a bit overfed. Reducing the feed. I’m trying water without minerals next and will see how it is going.

Hey growers! Another week finished today. I used cannaflush this week and will use just ph correct clean water next week before harvest. Hulkberry is a sticky beast! Tonnes of crystals on them! Amazing smell. Orange sherbert shows its indica dominance and smells like orange tic-tac 😁. Cant wait to cut them down. Lights will turn off in 6 days and plants will stay in dark last 48h before cutting them down. Cheers!

I came back from vacay. Im harvesting the amensia haze next week!! i’m really excited! i wonder if the painkiller will make it tho. spider mites and thrips somehow got to the plant even though it was inside. and all the pests collectively decided to leave the amnesia alone? Also got new seeds! only paid for 3 lol

Day 30 for this girl, shes doing pretty well. Very nice structure due to plant training early in veg, a little bit of HST to keep the height down. Shes smelling quiet a bit now but has undergone a lot of stress although she is not showing it. Growing daily and cant wait to see what this girl has to give me. Very happy with her overall growth.
