Predators Unleashed & First Frost ❄️🕷️ This week brought a few challenges—but also some exciting signs of progress! First off: spider mites tried to crash the party, but I wasn’t having it. 😤 I’ve been manually removing them every day, and today—finally—no new sightings. On top of that, I released a fresh squad of predatory mites, who are now keeping things in balance. Nature's tiny enforcers are on the case. 🕵️‍♂️🔬 I noticed some slightly yellowing lower leaves, so I trimmed them off. It could be a touch of nitrogen deficiency, so I slightly increased the BioBizz Grow dose during this week’s feeding. I’ll keep a close eye on it over the coming days. 🌿 Otherwise, she’s looking strong, vibrant, and full of life. Beautiful structure, steady growth, and she’s just starting to shift into bloom mode. day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder. No touching pink paradise!! day 46 can chop anytime just waiting on pink paradise seeds to finish, bridal party leaning more day 47 bridal leaning hard from weight. day 48 stacking, day 48 video

Dec. 11 - Week 10 begins with a fresh sachet of Cucumeris and lots of plain water. Dec. 15 - I have removed the majority of the crispy leaves. Watering is a slow process now, 5ml takes almost 5 minutes to absorb into the soil, and about 25ml before there is any runoff if the soil was allowed to dry at all, like when I sleep. During my waking hours I just give it 4-5ml here and there as I go about my day. There are a few trichomes showing up so she's still progressing, still growing. This is such a hearty cultivar, it's a shame Humboldt Seeds may be retiring it, but excited for what the'll introduce next. Dec. 17 - While applying the first bit of water today I noticed something moving on the can, often it's a droplet from spilling, but this was different so I looked closer. It was what I assume to be a fairly young thrip (3-5 days) being harassed by a couple cucumeris, something I presumed was happening, but never actually thought I'd witness. Unfortunately for the cucumeries I squished the bugs they were after.

It's been fun to grow NY Diesel Auto from Seedsman. I will definitely grow it again, and I have all my notes right here on Growdiaries so I can do better. Can't wait to dry, cure, and smoke it!!!! Dry weight is 40g

My first attempt at a scrog and only started it at day 7 of flower so a real rush job. Very happy with the outcome, bud quality is very high as is flavour and all from a 20L pot.

One of the two plants is getting ahead, so I will focus on that one (the other one seems a week or so behind). I got a thermometer/hydrometer, humidity is around 35%, while temperature ranges from 14-25 throughout the week.

Not an overly impressive strain and I would say she was not that hard to grow. If I even grew this one again I would let it go naturally with some LST. Wanted more grape flavours but they don't really come through in the smoke. There's a bit of a sharp fruity smell that's sort of piney with a hint of fuel at the end. The smoke is not too flavourful in my opinion but that just means I didn't grow it well. Super tight nugs so be careful with humidity as stated above. Also she's a bit of a light feeder so be careful with your nutes. As you can see I burnt her tips and over fed her a lot. Not a bad yield though! I've only really smoked the lowers on this one so far so that gave me a bit of a racey high, just slightly racey. I would accredit that to the lowers not being mature enough at chop. The plant is super dense and since I mainlined it the lowers didn't receive enough light. I tried to let the lowers mature more but the plant stopped maturing when I chopped the tops, this caused stress and the plant just shut down basically. Not sure if I would grow Blimburn's GDP again until I grow the real GDP.
