@MephistoGenetics, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 10 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Glad to see them start filling out. I started giving compost tea and molasses in between feeding and watering once a week. At this point I'm trying to slowly raise ppm without getting nute burn. They are barely putting put smell. I'm guessing the buds will be significantly bigger next weeks update.

Into week 7 and all is good. All are in flower and swelling out very nicely. Ethos OG Kush is frosty and smells like a citrus grove. Barney's Purple is an absolute beast. Her stretch was impressive for an autoflower and she is almost 48in high. Her flowers are swelling nice and she has become much more fragrant in the last week. Fastbuds Zkittlez is frosty and swelling nice. She is also very fragrant, smelling like sweet candy. Seedsman Pink Kush CBD is doing well, beautiful dark purple flowers and leaves. Lights are still 18/6. No nutes. Monitoring trichomes daily looking for changes in color and clarity in preparation for harvest.

June 8: really cold here the last few days. Likely due to the heat dome now in SW states and Mexico. Overnight low of only 1 C tonight so the plants are indoors until conditions improve which should be soon. June 9: it wasn’t as cold as forecast last night and stayed above 5 C with lowest being two nights ago at 3.3 C. Watered with 26 C water this evening to keep it warm a bit longer but overnight temps should be fine again now and she’s outdoors full time now. June 10: watered this morning with first compost tea. Pic is from the evening and she’s looking really good. A few days ago I forgot to lower the pH of the city tap water and the biggest fan leaves show some of that pH swing damage. Oops. Looks good now though after the lazy compost tea. Lazy compost tea is compost, molasses, some coco coir and some Monster Maxx. Let sit overnight but not so long that it goes anaerobic. It should smell fresh not sulphurous. June 11: looks good after the compost tea. June 13: to get the stems growing apart in preparation for another round of topping, I supercropped both stems, taped with floral tape, and then tied down using pipe cleaners and paper clips on the edge of the grow bag. And honestly, after everything: * from seed, * to flower, * to harvest, * to drying, * to trimming, * to washing, * to temple balls, * to curing, * to finally sitting down peacefully and actually enjoying the medicine… …I can honestly say this run became something much bigger than just “growing weed.” This became a full experience. A full learning process. A full journey. And before diving into the smoke review itself, let’s do one final recap for everyone arriving here for the first time. These girls were grown under 12/12 from seed from the very beginning. No long vegetative stage. Very little training. Almost no aggressive manipulation. Mostly allowing the genetics to express themselves naturally while we simply guided the environment around them. And throughout the entire run, these plants surprised us constantly. Huge central flower development. Massive stacking. Incredible resin production. Beautiful terpene expression. And honestly… some very unexpected structure for indica-leaning genetics. This harvest was divided across several reports because there was simply too much happening to compress everything into one single update. We wanted to properly document: * harvest, * drying, * trimming, * curing, * fresh frozen preparation, * washing, * temple ball production, * extraction evolution, * and finally the smoke review itself. GrowDiaries limits the amount of files we can upload per update, so instead of rushing through everything quickly, we decided to slow down and explain the process properly week by week. And honestly? I’m very happy we did. Because now we can finally close this chapter understanding not only how these girls grew… …but how they evolved. And evolution is honestly the perfect word here. The flowers themselves cured for well over a month, some even approaching two months now. And during that time, the transformation became beautiful. The aroma deepened. The sharp greener notes disappeared. The smoke softened dramatically. And the terpene profile became something honestly very difficult to describe perfectly with words. To me personally? This smells like: * earthy sourness, * soft skunk, * herbal spice, * and a gentle diesel layer hiding underneath everything. Not aggressive diesel. Not overpowering fuel. More like an old-school soft diesel wrapped inside earthy sweetness and skunky herbal notes. And somehow… despite not being truly sweet… it still feels sweet. One of those terpene profiles that almost tricks your brain. The smoke itself became incredibly smooth. Very soft inhale. Very soft exhale. Dense smoke without becoming harsh. No unpleasant race. Just calm, warm, euphoric relaxation. A really beautiful balance. Now let’s talk about the extraction side of this run… Because these girls absolutely shined there too. And honestly? They washed beautifully. The fresh frozen material produced incredible resin quality and gave us one of the most satisfying parts of this entire journey. Everything regarding: * freezing, * washing, * ice water extraction, * collection, * freeze drying, * pressing, * temple ball formation, * and curing… was explained in detail in previous reports for anyone curious about the full process. But now that some curing time has passed… something magical started happening. The temple balls evolved. And this is where hash becomes truly fascinating. The hash you are seeing now looks completely different from the fresh temple balls shown previously because the compounds inside are evolving over time. And that evolution is natural. At first, freshly pressed hash is often: * smoother, * more uniform, * more elastic, * sometimes shinier. But during curing: * oils begin migrating, * terpene fractions separate and recombine, * cannabinoids continue evolving, * moisture stabilizes, * oxidation slowly changes color and texture, * crystalline structures begin appearing, * and the entire resin starts transforming internally. That sandy crystalline texture appearing inside the cured hash? That is part of the evolution process. And honestly… it is beautiful to observe. The hash almost begins looking alive. Changing week after week. Softening internally while crystallizing externally in some areas. Developing complexity. Developing depth. Developing personality. This is why traditional hash makers allow temple balls to age for months or even years. Good hash is not rushed. And the smoke? Absolutely beautiful. The small sample we opened after roughly 15–20 days of curing already showed: * full melt behavior, * deep flavor, * rich oily smoke, * long-lasting taste, * and incredibly smooth combustion. The rest now remains vacuum sealed for long-term aging. And honestly? I cannot wait to revisit it months from now. 🍬 Candy Rain Auto by Zamnesia | Week 5 (Late Vegetative Growth / Pre-Flower) 🍬 The Solo Survivor – Small Setback, Big Future Every grow has a story, and not every story begins perfectly. Candy Rain is the only survivor from this folder. Losing her sister early in the project was entirely on me, and that’s simply part of growing. Every mistake becomes another lesson, and rather than focusing on what was lost, this diary celebrates the plant that kept pushing forward. Despite her delayed start, she’s proving that healthy genetics and a stable environment can overcome a rough beginning remarkably quickly. She’s only a few days behind the rest of the room, yet every day she seems determined to close that gap. This project continues documenting how autoflowers perform under a true 12/12 From Seed schedule from germination, challenging the common belief that this lighting regime prevents vigorous development. Supported by the complete Plagron feeding program, grown under the Future of Grow Black Series LED, and thriving inside the Zamnesia-sponsored 8×8 Adventure, Candy Rain is becoming another reminder that every plant deserves its own opportunity to shine. And this week… She absolutely deserves her spotlight. ⸻ 🌱 Week 5 – Catching Up Fast Although I’m still considering this her final week of vegetative growth for reporting purposes, the plant clearly finished the week entering pre-flower. Fresh pistils are now appearing at the top growth, and the transition toward bloom is well underway. Rather than exploding into stretch overnight, Candy Rain is making the change gradually while continuing to build a sturdy framework for flowering. At around 60 cm tall, she isn’t the largest plant in the room, but she’s beautifully proportioned. The internodal spacing is excellent, the main stem continues thickening nicely, and every branch is positioning itself to receive strong light as flowering progresses. Sometimes the smaller plants end up becoming the easiest ones to manage, and she’s developing exactly that kind of balanced architecture. ⸻ 🌿 Training & Plant Development Training has remained simple and gentle throughout the grow. Low Stress Training has helped open the canopy while preserving the plant’s natural structure. Combined with regular leaf repositioning, this has allowed light to reach developing side branches without introducing unnecessary stress. One thing visible this week is some damage on a few older leaves. This isn’t something I’m concerned about. Between the early setbacks, a little environmental stress from airflow, and perhaps my own learning moments while dialing everything in, a handful of leaves have certainly seen better days. The important part is what the plant is telling me now. The newest growth is emerging vibrant, healthy, and beautifully green, showing that the current conditions are exactly where they need to be. Rather than chasing cosmetic perfection on older leaves, I’m paying attention to the fresh growth—and that’s looking fantastic. Healthy new growth always tells the real story. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition & Irrigation Although this report still closes the vegetative chapter, the plant has already begun receiving the same flowering transition feed as the rest of the room. Current feeding: • Terra Grow — 1.9 ml/L • Terra Bloom — 1.9 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Power Buds — 1 ml/L The transition has been smooth, with an EC around 1.83, pH maintained at 6.05. No signs of nutrient deficiencies are developing in the new growth, giving me confidence that the plant has recovered completely from her slower beginning. She’s now receiving exactly what the rest of the room is receiving—and she’s responding beautifully. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Environmental conditions continue providing a stable ecosystem for every plant inside the tent. * Day temperature: 31.1°C * Night temperature: 25°C * Relative humidity: 72% * Solution temperature: 21.6°C * Root zone temperature: 21°C * CO₂: approximately 639 ppm Even with the warm summer temperatures, the healthy root environment, excellent airflow, and consistent irrigation continue allowing the plants to grow vigorously while transitioning naturally into bloom. The room continues doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. ⸻ 👀 Looking Ahead Next week marks the beginning of a completely new chapter. The stretch should become much more noticeable as Candy Rain fully commits to flowering, and I’m excited to see how her elegant structure begins filling with bud sites over the coming weeks. Being only slightly behind the rest of the room really isn’t a concern anymore. In fact, she seems determined to catch up one day at a time, and with every new set of leaves she’s reminding me that healthy plants don’t dwell on the past—they simply keep growing. Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.
