🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. F0 - Been vegging these plants at work with old seeds I've had. Gonna pick the best and sell cuts out of the grow shop! F3 - Did three major changes yesterday, added a lazy susan under the bed to allow it to be spinny. Might add a motor later on for assthetics. Replaced the ol AC Infinity 240w S33 workhorse of a light with an HLG 600 Rspec that I'm borrowing. Then lastly transplanted all of the 13 plants into the bed with a tblsp of GG444 and tsp of Azos at the bottom of each hole, then top dressed with worm castings and watered in with Advanced Ancient Earth

9/20 Man I've been busy. I'm sick too. Looking back at my diaries I get sick this time of year every year it seems. Once I get the important stuff done I'll put some pictures of finished product up. Sunny today and windy as hell. All the plants left seem to be doing good and look like they'll finish. The pink kush might not finish how I WANT but it's stinky and has lots of milky trichs. I'm playing with fire with this mk ultra. It's fucking done. It could get a LITTLE more amber and maybe come together a bit more but I don't know if it's smart to risk it. Frost warning in effect tonight. I'll probably check the forecast and harvest tomorrow. We're having some good weather just cold nights. Then it turns to like a 30% chance of rain for 4 or 5 days. I'll yank it before that. This actually turned out tp be a pretty good year. Haven't tested everything (especially shit in the ground) but what I have sampled I'm incredible happy with. 9/21 IT was a balmy 36° on my way to the garden. My windshield had frost on it. Surprisingly the TIGHT nugs of the pink kush and this phenome of 10th planet didn't seem to mind it. Both strains are still increasing in size, smell and trich development. Not just changing but adding more. Trichs on trichs. Very in hospital environment. It will be interesting to see what happens with these girls. We will be getting some rain. I mean we've had SOME but I mean real rain. If thays the case I'll put these in the garage for a little bit. Honestly I thought these would be goners. I've gotta get to work trimming bucking and manicuring flower. Doing a garden like this sure is an awful lot of work. But the reward is worth every penny. WATERED EVERYTHING LEFT A HALG GALLON APIECE. PROBABLY SHOULDVE GAVE A GALLON BUT THEY WERE STILL A LITTLE HEAVY. 9/22 It rained last night and we got another frost. HAD to cut a main branch of the tenth planet as it had stem rot. Lots more cold weather coming. If I could get it done and I wasnt sick and have all this other material to process I would probably pull then. It's getting really cold. We're going to be getting rain. I'll check the weather and hopfully I can just put the movable ones in the garage. Either way things will work out. It rained today but I think the plants will be alright. I've been working non stop. I may not have the quantity I'm used too but the quality is AMAZING. I can't wait to do the smoke points and put up finished flower. The other 10th planet seems to be doing really well. I expected nothing off that. I'll keep it updated but it's hard with everything going on.

9/29/2022 - 49 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of flowering of my Orange Sherbet 🍨🍨🍨 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Bud Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle Indabox Environ X Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud remains unchanged I no longer serve Bud Ignitor ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Plants tolerate nutrients well, sometimes a small spot appears on the leaves, but this is not a nutrient burn Training: LST - Just a little training, I tied some twigs to the edge of the flower pot with string so that they don't shine on each other 🌞🌞 Defoliation: I mainly remove large leaves so they don't shade the flowers and I also cut off the lower leaves. Week 4: We are officially one month into our grow! things have been going pretty smooth so far and that’s exciting!! Yesterday we picked up our Gaia Green 4-4-4. With that and the topping done, we plan to give them the week to recover and then start LST and feeding. You’ll notice a large number of plants were moved outside… those were all auto seeds that we got for free from Seedsman and Perry’s Magic Beans (Northern Lights, Critical + 2.0, M+M, and High C) shout out to them!!
