Day 40 from Seed ( 3 in flower): Yet another good week for these rapidly changing ladies. I have kept them in Mega crop at 1g/L and they seem very happy at that. This Mega crop is the best nute I have used in decades of growing. so simple to use in all aspects and the results are amazing. I am also blown away by the ecothrive living soil. now it has kicked into gear it is killing the coco girls by a mile in size for every strain. I have backed off the silica and calmag now to see how they get on with just plain water and the nutes the spil makes itself on them. The coco girls are getting a .5g upping of MC next feed now they are in flowering and their stretch mode. My fears of too much N have been put to rest now and it was the light intensity causing issues across the crop and not nute strength. #1 has had to be staked down and tied back daily to keep her from taking off vertical. The 90° bend early on has not done her a bit of harm at all and even with the trunk split and spread , she is building on the support for it as she packs the size on. Her pot has a great mulch layer with some excellent greenery low down to die back and be the next layer of food below the soil. All my removed leaf and tips have been put into this layer now too so should be perfect for the "no-till" 2nd use of them ( fast buds fast flowering girls will fly in them !!) The coco girls are responding great to their training too. They have some thick stem growth so are planning some serious bud weight. I will be thinking them out a little in the next few days to get all those sites lit up for their push to buds. Brilliant strain from fast buds and cannot wait to sample their delights. Thats when the Los pots will prove even more viable . fully organic and no need to flush.. Catch you in your grows and a huge thankyou to Heather at Fast buds for being a top rep and so responsive. One of the plants doesn't look so good, looks like is related Cal/Mag deficiency but I added it after 10 days from seed so not sure if I had to add more or is something else

Medium: Yep - still gonna beat on the DWC drum. It just gets better and easier every run. Almost religiously changed out the res. every week and this was definitely overkill. Could’ve easily gotten away with every 10 days to 2 weeks. Stuck with peroxide this run again instead of going with bennies via hydroguard or hygrozyme. The results speak for themselves on a 6 week veg. That’s for sure. Still save’n them dolla bills on the nutes too. Minimal nute mixing (as well as simplistic regime) and for what we’re using in each res. - gotta be easily a 50-60% savings on nute consumption vs. more traditional methods. Honestly makes one wonder why organic soil grows are seemingly all the rage. I’ve found terp. Profiles, structure, plant health and of course yields to all be just that much better in straight water. What more can I say, we love our DWC. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️ The dueling methods were the whole point of this grow. Our best attempt to illustrate the differences between LST vs. LST/Topping ie. just how significant is the difference in terms of overall production? The truth of this test is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand, topping does have a significant effect on overall yield. This fact is regardless of whether or not from seed or clone.That said and when it comes to clones, you still have to be mindful of the drawbacks of further dividing (and thus reducing nug size for) main branches. Our topped clone #2 is a perfect example of this. While the structure demonstrates significantly more branching, the nug sizes are also significantly smaller. As you’ll see in the yield details it does somewhat make up for this through a higher overall weight but it was also a much less manageable plant than #1. Root mass on the topped plant was heavier and bulkier, drinking much more water than its counterpart. And in late flower half the plant was pretty much falling over. While some of this is attributable to the extremely hollow stems (and thus a carbon deficiency), making the most of the grow light proved difficult with the topped plant as bushy as it was. Basic summary - if ur cloning for profit or efficiency, stick with straight LST and grow a whole bunch of em. If I had to do it again I don’t think i would’ve bothered with topping - just for the sake of greater ease🤔🤔🤔. Then again, I’m greedy as fuck when it comes to my yields so I Could totally see myself trying to max everything out and go for broke🤙🤙. 3/5 volume bars for the rating - we accomplished what we were trying to. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Awwwwwe yeah - down to where it counts and these girls were champs💪. While internodal spacing was longer than necessary and overall bud size was smaller than average; these plants pushed out some solid weight👍😎👍. Ran er through a 7 day dry and all jarred up on a slow cure. Final numbers: Total yield - clone #1: 5.14oz = 143.92g Total yield - clone #2: 6.01oz = 168.28g Approx. est. yield: 600g/m2 divides by 4.8, multiplied by 2 (approx. for 2/3 the cabinets sq/ft) = 250g per 0.41m2 Actual yield: 11.15oz. per 0.41m2 = 312.2g per 0.41m2. That is some seriously good production right there😎👍😎. The high end avg. for this strain is 650g/m2. When you crush that out to my space and the numbers above, it works to about 270g per 0.41m2. Our actual yield still destroys the high end avg. by almost a zip and a half👍👍👍. The cree cob does it again. Fuck’n jazz hands y’all🙌! With results like these you could really give the whole grow a 9/10. It’s only an 8 in my book because it’s not my preferred high. Otherwise, any time you’re north of 5+ oz. per plant, it’s a good day at the office👍👍. Props👊👊👊 No choice but to shoutout Humboldt genetics. These beans have treated me so well and I can’t say enough Good things about the strains this organization puts out👌👍👌. Other than that, thanks to everyone who dropped by for a look and a comment. By the third week of flower we are getting excited because we see the buds really bulk up. It is early on and we are seeing these top nodes take shape into colas. Here is the work put in this week: -Prepare each plant with 1 gallon of lukewarm water with 3 tsp Big Bloom, 2 tsp of Grow Big and 2 tsp of Tiger bloom. Oh and 5 mLs of Cal Mg. -pH the water to 6.5 and pour. -Shop Vac runoff. -Before tent lights turn on at 7AM, spray all 3 plants from top to underneath to the bottom to top of soil with GrowSafe. If you don't know what it is, look it up. Here is the solution concentration: 3.75 mL GrowSafe in 1 cup of H20. This is a preventative measure ;-) Then after that it is cleaning up the lower growth on the stems. Some people call it Lollipoping. I'm leaving virtually all fan leaves above 1/3-1/2 of the way up the plant. I tightened up the plant arrangement as well by placing them in a triangle shape. I believe this will help the two plants that were living at either end of the lights (where the light might not have been ideal) closer to the center. Now each plant has an even amount of light exposer. I also adjusted some branches with foam garden wire in such a way that evens out the height and width of canopy. The sour diesel buds grew the quickest at first. The do si dos buds are stacked under a lot of leaf growth. And the gelato buds, which started out as the smallest and slowest growing, sped up by the end of the week, almost catching up to the size of do si dos's buds. Thanks for reading my post :-) -

This Green Crack was my 3rd round of started seeds in my perpetual garden of auto's. I decided to get a little experimental and try topping and bending this girl at the beginning of the flowering stretch (about a week ago). So far she has not missed a beat, she just keeps stretching and growing. Starting to see the bud sites develop. One branch did take a little damage from the bending, but I put some blue painters tape on it and expect a full recovery. Growing in organic composted 'super soil'. Have not added any additional nutrients yet. Looks great to me so far. 7/5/25 plant is stretching. Not sure if its preflowering or just being outside in a bigger pot. Im just going to let her grow naturally and see how it turns out. I may end up with just one diary of each strain at the moment. But im also not sure whether im going to be doing indoor or outdoor based on personal circumstances.

Rains came. Plants protected as flowering was about to start. Mesh to prevent moths from laying eggs. They are a big problem were I live and I amb not a big fan of foliar spray during flowering as we live in a very humid area. Some defoliation was done.
