💜 Purple Haze by Zamnesia – Pheno A Week 6 | The Legend Begins to Reveal Herself Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! Every week these diaries become a little more exciting. The differences between each phenotype become clearer. Personalities emerge. Growth patterns separate. And some plants begin demanding your attention the moment you unzip the tent. Purple Haze Pheno A has officially become one of those plants. She isn't trying to be the loudest. She simply stands there... Elegant. Confident. Growing exactly the way a classic Haze should. This week she reminded me why some genetics earn legendary status. 🌱 One Experiment... Countless Stories If you're joining this diary for the first time, welcome! This entire project is built around one simple idea: What happens when every plant receives exactly the same opportunity? Every seed in this room has been grown under the 12/12 From Seed technique. No long vegetative period. No separate flowering room. No individual treatment. Every phenotype receives: • The same light schedule • The same nutrients • The same environment • The same temperatures • The same humidity • The same care The only variable... ...is genetics. And Purple Haze continues proving just how powerful genetics truly are. 🌿 Grace in Every Direction At approximately 88 cm tall, she has become one of the tallest ladies in the entire room. Yet height alone doesn't tell her story. What impresses me most is how balanced her structure has become. The internodes have spaced beautifully. Every branch has found its place. The canopy remains open. The airflow is excellent. Light reaches deep into the plant without needing aggressive defoliation. She almost seems to be building herself. Every day she becomes a little more elegant. A little more refined. Classic Haze architecture is beginning to reveal itself, and it's beautiful to witness. 🌸 Flowers Everywhere You Look This week marks the moment where there's no longer any doubt. Purple Haze has fully entered flowering. Every branch is producing flowers. Every node carries fresh white pistils. The tops continue stacking while secondary branches quickly catch up, creating dozens of future colas across the plant. The stretch hasn't completely finished, but now another transformation begins. The energy that once built stems is gradually shifting toward flower production. Week by week the framework is disappearing beneath an ever-growing collection of buds. And she's only getting started. 🍃 Healthy Leaves Tell an Important Story One of my favourite things about this phenotype isn't actually the flowers. It's the foliage. The leaves are exactly what every grower hopes to see. Large. Rich green. Flat. Healthy. Every fan leaf acts like a perfectly functioning solar panel, collecting energy that will eventually be transformed into dense, resin-covered flowers. Rather than removing healthy foliage unnecessarily, I've continued relying mostly on leaf tucking to expose developing bud sites while allowing the plant to keep producing as much energy as possible. Sometimes patience produces a better canopy than scissors ever could. 💧 Feeding the Next Chapter As flowering progresses, the feeding program continues evolving alongside the plant. This week's nutrient program includes: • Terra Bloom • Power Buds • Green Sensation • Sugar Royal • Pure Zym • Careful pH adjustment for maximum nutrient availability Every adjustment is made gradually. The objective isn't simply feeding bigger flowers. It's supporting the plant while allowing her genetics to express their full potential without unnecessary stress. So far... She's responding beautifully. 🌡️ Stability Creates Great Plants One lesson this project keeps reinforcing is just how important consistency can be. Current environmental conditions remain stable: • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • Solution temperature: 22°C • Root zone temperature: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 639 ppm When the environment remains consistent, plants can dedicate their energy to growing instead of constantly adapting. That consistency allows every phenotype to show what it's truly capable of. 📷 This Week's Gallery This week's photographs capture a plant beginning to reveal her future. Close-ups highlight fresh clusters of bright white pistils emerging from every flowering site. The wider shots showcase her beautiful Haze structure, with long, elegant branches carrying evenly spaced bud sites from top to bottom. Several photographs focus on the healthy foliage surrounding the flowers, while others document the impressive overall symmetry that continues developing across the canopy. Looking back at previous weeks, it's incredible to see how quickly she's transformed. And somehow... It still feels like she's only just getting warmed up. 🔮 Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks I expect one of the most exciting stages of her journey to begin. The stretch should gradually slow. The flowers will begin swelling. Bud sites that currently look delicate will merge together, forming the long, spear-shaped colas so many growers associate with classic Haze genetics. If she continues following the path she's on today... She has every opportunity to become one of the standout phenotypes of this entire 8×8 Adventure. Not because she's the tallest. Not because she's growing the fastest. But because she's doing everything with remarkable balance. Sometimes that's what truly exceptional genetics look like. 💚 Thank You Thank you so much for following another chapter of this 8×8 Adventure. Every week reminds me why documenting every individual phenotype has been one of the most rewarding projects I've ever undertaken. Each diary tells a different story. Each plant teaches a different lesson. And Purple Haze Pheno A is reminding us that true elegance isn't measured by speed—it's measured by consistency. A huge thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries for providing a platform where growers from around the world can learn, share experiences, and inspire one another. 🌱 Zamnesia for providing the outstanding genetics behind this incredible phenotype hunt. 💜 Plagron for supplying the nutrition supporting every stage of this journey. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering the light that powers this entire project. 🌿 TrolMaster for helping maintain the stable environment that allows every phenotype to express its full potential. And finally... Thank you to everyone following these diaries, leaving comments, asking questions, and growing alongside me. Every week this remarkable lady writes another chapter of her story. And if this week is any indication... I have a feeling we're watching something truly special unfold. Growers Love... and Purple Haze Pheno A is only beginning to show us why legends are remembered. 💜🌿

These cali genetics are blowing my mind 🤯 super sticky, very frosty rock dence buds with extra strong smells. All 3 strains are 10 out of 10, very impressed. Done last defoliation few days ago, preparing for the harvest so it's much easier. Stalks are super fat, same as buds. Got big surprise from Atami, plant food, and many extras. Crazy. Thanks a lot guys. 💚 Start adding you Bloombastic food already. They love it. Smell is mad. I think most of plants ready in week or so.

Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

03/22 - Night/Daytime shots - Both have grown about an inch since last week and are thriving - I will be running drip lines on them probably by the end of the week for consistency with feeds. 03/23 - They got a little funky on me last week so I fed them both to run off and realized their PPMS/PH where insane!! - Flushed them out hard last night and in less then 24hrs they are already bouncing back - Will stick to just clean water feeds for now - They will begin a low-dosage nutrient feed (Micro-dosing) in about a week.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Last week I neglected the fertigation beyond the low humidity all that delayed the first topping and leaf burned the most thirsty girls, by the end of the week I had already recovered them and succed topping, they are looking very healthy.

A solid week in flower for both girls and looking good for it, plenty of bud sites on them and more happening every day. The Strawberry Banana loves a feed at about 80% strength grow and bloom at 700ml daily, looking very chunky and stocky. The Gorilla Cookies is on 500ml daily and a 20% feed once in every 3 with just the pH 6.3 water the other 2 and she works great on that. She's shown a bit of a sativa side this week and stretched out above the SB, not bad for what was the runt of the 2 and having had her main stem ripped 3/4 of the way through just above the 1st node! Bought another new fan as the last was too big. That one is circulating air now in the room which the tent lives while the new one is much better suited to face the plants and has a nice wide 110 degree oscillation and 3 speeds, so quiet as well for the power it puts out! The humidifier has been swamped out for a dehumidifier and while it's too early to say it just how good it is, it looks to be gathering a bit of moisture. The new Govee WiFi hygrometer had been a revelation in just how much things like opening the tent, lights off and feeding effect the temp and humidity so hoping I can use this to my advantage! A big defoliation for both girls on day 35 and a last adjusting of the LST to expose the many bud sites to as much light as possible. Hope it all looks good to an watchers on, any advice is always welcome!

Day 78 from seed This week was a big learning curve as may have dodged a bullet and improved yield . Finally changed res after 3-4 weeks thinking I could get through to harvest I was wrong ppm was spiking to 2200 after multiple water top ups Figured plant wasn’t up taking nutes and had some sort of lockout , ph dropping aswell 5.5 ish Res was salty all over , was way over due , note to self add nutes gradually to reach desired ppm, I gave her what little nutes I had left ( could have more ) Settled around 1000 , seemed to uptake them in two days to settle around 750 , ph at recommended 6.3 , buds changed within a day ! Had to tie her up as she was leaning badly after res change, may invest in a pump to make things easier. Look to be ripening , putting on weight ; pistils browning :)

Day 1 ....mostly LST to straighten the mains stems...I normally miss this tight window.. it reduces the risk of the stems breaking later.. Will top again this week. End up with 4 main nodes.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I hope everyone has a great weekend, Thanks for stopping by, Stay Safe and Blaze On!!! 💪 Website: https://medicgrow.com/ https://growdiaries.com/grower/medicgrowled

At the end of week 4, I've switched the lights to 12/12 and separated the plants, leaving one of them under 150w lamp. Also started to bend the main stem of Kabul Express. I'll probably make a timelapse of one/both of them, both girls grow pretty fast, and Kabul seem to be much bigger and elongate more.
