I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

Ten days sence last post, more defoliation has been done. The stretch has stoped and frost on leafs is coming strong. 50 more days of buds getting bigger ... lets go.

Las Ak parece que tienen un problema creo que tiene que ver con CalMag pero no estoy seguro, la otra no está afectada. Bajé la EC pero no se si tengo alguna carencia exceso u otra cosa. El dia 21 subo altura de luces al máximo el día 22 bajo la potencia de los quantum boards de 440w a 350w

Totaly forgot to take some pics from the dutch passion strains this week... all I got is a group photo and short video! Could have been a bit more hands on with the training but seems a like a nice and even canopy it´s emerging 😍 Defoliated a bit and trimmed the lower branches.

She is growing healthy and strong.....

3/28/23 Keep finding pm in different places and having to spray it down. Added a few more fans just in case and it’s just everywhere. I think I’ll need to do a full tent clean before the next run to get everything clean. I trellised the ackbar twins. They’re huge and putting out so much bud. Took awhile to get it all right and ended up bending a few branches but I have a feeling it’s gonna be great when it’s finally done. Blueberry got topped and is starting to grow exponentially. Hoping it will have some stretch to it when it gets its chance to be the canopy but I don’t think it’s gonna be the plant that ackbar is because it hasn’t gotten proper light. White widow is flowering as well but it’s so minimal because the plant is also getting no light. Going to let it run its course but it’s just not getting what it needs at the bottom of the canopy. I should’ve known better but putting too many plants in one box but I didn’t know they would get this big.

Day 23: grow is coming along nicely! Tucking the larger leaves behind the smaller ones to allow more light. The older BD is coming on nicely, I think she is going to stretch soon. I'm still going a little heavy on the N. I can see the tips clawing down slightly. Minor discoloration on the tips but hardly even noticeable. Day 24: the oldest BD is showing signs of a cal mag deficiency. I have been giving cal mag xtra at 0.5ml/L Due to the amount of N. Next feed I will up to 1.25ml/L and cut the grow A out. Worried about the amount of N shes going to be getting, cal mag as it is 4-0-0 and the grow A is 3-0-0. Watered the younger blue dream. Exactly the same as I have been previously. Day 25: New gear day 😁! Its been a busy day in the garden! Second p1000 added to tent. Also added in 2x CO2 gas bags. CO2 bags are placed next to the air intake to keep the CO2 in the tent for as long as possible. The lights are now set at 50% and about 23 inches above the girls. Giving them the same intensity, but with more coverage. I've also been monitoring VPD. I'm keeping my tent at a 50% humidity, using a humidifier outside the tent. With my temps being between 24-26°C I believe this is the optimal range. Finally, I have watered the jack herer. I gave her 3L of water this time. I waited a little longer to water than I have previously, so the pot took more to get the 20% runoff. I will be waiting until the other girls feel like this. I've been a little nervous about under watering. The 3L feed was the same as the previous one. Day 26: big shock today... my timer for lights hasn't gone off since I installed the second light 🤦‍♂️ multi plug stops mechanical timer from spinning 🤬.. all sorted now, they will turn off tonight! Only caught due to the new camera! On to that, I got a cheap camera from amazon to view remotely.. made sure temp/RH can be seen also. Works great. It is 1080p but I haven't figured out how to get the timelapse download quality in 1080p. I will look into that. Anyway I got a timelapse of the blue dream after watering 😝. Watered her the usual. If interested just scroll up it's been the same for a while 🙂. Day 28: smaller blue dream watered the usual. I really do need to cut the N down. They are on the edge of toxic levels. Girls are looking a little sleepy tonight, this morning I upped the power on the lights to 65% they took it really really well. It came to tea time and they were taking it really well still so I upped it to 75%. A few hours at 75% and they told me that was to much by dropping the leaves. Its lights out soon so no big deal! I know where my lights should be set for optimal growth tomorrow. Its amazing how much they can tell you. So I'll be leaving them on 65% at 18" for a little while. I'm trying to prevent too much stretch. Day 29: watered the jack today, shes looking the furthest into flower! I cut the sensi grow A out fully today as she has N in her cal mag and B52. Kept all the other levels the same for now. Next feed I will be introducing her to the bloom nutes. Oldest BD will be due a feed tomorrow and she will be having the same. They are continuing to grow nicely, I'm pretty shocked with how big they are if I'm honest! Cheers for stopping by 👍👊

The preflower stretch has been incomparable to any Soil grow I've seen! These sativas already caught up and don't show any signs of slowing down.

Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7). Mother plants are definitely ready for a pruning/cloning!

I fixed the extraction fan, the roots are growing really fast, let's hope for excellent results 🤞🏼🤩

Bei meinem ersten Grow mit den ROOTIES kam nur die 9 Liter Version zum Einsatz, da haben die sich gut bewährt. Auch die Smart Start Plugs von Zamnesia wurden wieder verwendet, dieses Mal ohne den Samen vorher einzuweichen. Und die Erde und der Dünger von BioBizz fanden wieder Verwendung. Ehi ragazzi come va? Spero tutto bene come a me! Le temperature elevate delle ultime settimane, sono state molto stressanti per le ragazze ma nonostante questo la genetica Barney'S farm si è fatta predominante ed insieme alla sorella Fastbuds Apricot auto hanno praticamente fagocitato l intero spazio della grow box, destinato come progetto iniziale di 4 piante, purtroppo sappiamo bene come sono andate le altre due ragazze, ma diciamocelo, di sicuro non staremo a piangerci addosso perché questa cookie KUSH auto mi sta veramente sorprendedno, altezza di 98cm e un sacco di sviluppo delle cime laterali che sono stra colme di gemme a forma di biscotto che si stanno sviluppando in modo davvero grandioso sia in numero di fiori che di nuovi fiori, che di compattezza delle cime, nonostante il caldo abbia portato a formare delle cime un po foxtail, ma spero che questo problema rientri nelle ultime due settimane che mancano alla raccolta, la temperatura sarà dai 26 ma x 30 gradi, quindi clima controllato ideale per questa ragazza che sprizza di resina da ogni nuovo fiore! Spero che la situazione continui così, anche se ho notato una carenza (spero) di calcio e magnesio che mi è capitato spesso anche in altre coltivazioni organiche, a cui avevo somministrato c02, si vede che aumentando il metabolismo andavano in carenza di cal/mag... ma purtroppo io non sono ancora così esperto da capirlo da me stesso ed essere pienamente sicuro della soluzione migliore da adottare.. Si iniziano a sentire odori speziati di legno stile KUSH!! Day 8 11/01/2021- Welcome to another week of veg. Today I started LST. Day 12 11/05/2021- Even though you can’t see she has already began to pre flower can see the white pistil coming out. I think I will switch my light to 12/12 on Monday to have my photo lemon start flowering as well. Day 14 11/07/2021- last day of the week and also last day of Veg.
