The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. Two of the plants started blooming 2-3 days after changing the light pattern. The other two started late. So there is about 1 week-10 days between them.

I have a few week 3's in here but they were literally a couple daya from coming into week 4....and i forgot to put them into the last veg journal, soooo....to sum up week 4 in 1 word, that would be " EXPLOSIVE"!!! THE GROWTH IS UNREAL. i had to train the plant about 4 times this week alone. I am seriously regretting putting this in a 1/2 gallon pot...should of kept her in the 3 gallon. Oh well we gonna roll with the punches!

Buds poppin' off nicely. Rigged up some bamboo skewers to spread the canopy. Scent's a wild mix - citrus vibes with that diesel kick. Like fuel-soaked shop rags, no joke. Word is this strain ain't a monster yielder, but don't sleep on it. Sometimes the lowkey ones surprise you. Can't wait to see how she turns out. Gonna be fire.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Day 21 Flowering: Howdy Fellow growers. All has been good in the grow this week. The three Flowering ladies have been showing off this week with their flowering prowess. I did a little defoliation early in the week and I think the six shooter needed it more than the others. She is fairly small in comparison to the other 2 and hasn't been half as stretchy. I left her natural due to her size difference whichbi am glad I did now to keep her in the canopy with a chance. Strawberry Pie has been very stretchy and is now a great size for rhe flowering cycle. He runs are stacking up slowly which is a good sign this early that they should form long thick colas instead of spaced out clumps of buds. Mexican Airline is by far the leader for both size and bud stacking. She leads in the 6 plants germinated at rhe same time and I can already see how well she has done . She has a really open, large airy structure which will help as the hips thicken up. No smell yet from them but this is still very early days. These will be the final harvest of a perpetual Auto run that I have done to see if the same amount of time using Photoperiods will achieve the same total yield. I think these ladies will certainly set the bar high in the yield score. Feeding really well about every 3 days and no real signs of any deficiency. Happy days Growmies. be well.

So at this time i will be running 2 tents. Ohh, this week and the end of week 3 was rought... I ran into a gnats problem in week 3, read more there. The way I "solved" my problem was a huge mistake, creating bigger problems. Gravel I put on top of soil kept moisture inside the pots, so I manage to over water my plants. NEVER PUT GRAVEL ON TOP OF YOUR SOIL! 🤦‍♂️ NEVER 😂 Big shoutout to guys who answered my question in week 3! Thanks for your help and support! So I remove all gravel and let all pots to dry completly before next watering. They bounced back very fast. Also I did LST training on them and manage to break up that one girl which had biggest over watering issues. Shit happens I guess... Btw its one of Amnesia strains. Ok had to start flowering this week because of overall height now I see I should have got a taller tent but oh well. Started 12 on 10th I believe also moved some wires around and got a few more inches out of the light so I'm at 19 and 20 inches from lamp can't get no more unless I move exhaust fan light is now 75% started feeding terpinator its supposed to increase taste we will see later on also gave first dose cal mag I think I was borderline calcium deficiency plants really looked good after cal mag also feed unsulfered blackstrap molasses half dose tiger bloom and full dose open sesame cutting down on my nitrogen a little. To bad I can't smell shit right now been sick past few days probably got covid for real. The one branch on my one plant has an extra thick stem on it and at top extra leaves coming out guess its a mutant from to much nitrogen unless someone else know what it is overall it's been an ok week can't wait for the next few just hope I don't get to tall

Day 3-4 I lost a main stem on GR1 and broke another stem but it will recover.. GR2 all stems are fine Day 6 - light LST on main nodes....very long stems and internodal spacing.

Day 64. Girls are just brilliant !!! Smell, view - pure joy ! Both fades nicely and i would love to push them two more weeks, but i think i gave last watering and this Wednesday they are chopped, but maybe ... ;))) Day 66. Last light and last photoshoot, nothing to add, they are - Beauties !!! Smell is driving me nuts ;))) Even with carbon filters you can easy smell them 10-20 meters away. Had to order more powerfull and bigger ones ;))) All remaining updates will be in harvest week. 24 hours of darkness and Chop Day !!! P.S. sorry for off-focus, my cam is still faulty ...
