🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. In der finalen Blütewoche der drei Amnesia Haze von Ganja Farmer zeigt sich die unterschiedliche Phänotyp-Ausprägung so richtig deutlich, was man an den Bildern der kleinen, mittleren und großen Pflanze sehen kann. Während die mittlere und die große Lady mit ihren violetten Nuancen bereits vollständig ausgebildet waren und die Ernte nach Plan erfolgte, habe ich die kleinste Pflanze noch drei Tage länger stehen lassen. Es war faszinierend zu beobachten, dass gerade der kompakteste Phänotyp die längste Reifezeit benötigte, um das volle Terpenprofil und die gewünschte Trichomreife zu erreichen. Die Nährstoffaufnahme wurde komplett eingestellt, um die Pflanzen vor der Ernte perfekt ausreifen zu lassen, während die Vorfreude auf das finale Ergebnis der Ernte und die Qualität der getrockneten Blüten nun im Vordergrund steht.

I dry trimmed everything I harvested. What I mean is I cut all fan leaves while the plant was still in the ground. I trimmed what I could and hung the whole plant for a few days then separated branches. The ice cream cake and the large seedling are both still hanging intact. Ice cream cake was easy as it grew more like a sativa them the indicas I usually grow. Plant reached a height of 9 to 10 feet. Yield was some what diminished due to septoria. This strain seemed particularly sensitive to plant diseases.

Hello everyone. Another week has flown by, and everything is going well with our girl. She's eating well, covered in trichomes, and the buds are dense and sticky. It looks like it's going to be an atomic yield. I think another two weeks, and she'll be fully ripe. As for the website, I don't know what happened, but after the update, it's been a real challenge. I can't upload videos, and uploading photos is a bit hit-and-miss. It's a bit nerve-wracking. If you're experiencing similar issues, please share in the comments. Last week of flush now. Still feeding the active sugar boost from Natures Delight and seems to be working wonders. I've enquired about this and it's fine to feed in flush. Flush is showing signs of deficiency which is good as means those fan leaves are being sucked dry :D

Removed some buds that weren't getting any light, I ran into some issues regarding mold and that is most likely due to the fact that the RH % of my tent goes up to 70/80% at night. I've removed all mold I could see (2 branches) and I am keeping a close eye on them, I've placed a new tower fan and another small adjustable fan in the tent for more airflow, my dehumidifier is coming in 2 weeks (around the time this grow is finished..)

Plants have now been given their second dry feed. This greenhouse bio feed is very good. The plants are loving it. Now scrogged and defoliated and put onto 12 hour schedule. Fingers crossed lets wait for flowers. No issues so far!

Week 10 total life Week 5 flowering The stretching stopped and the energy is spent on bud formation. Fertilizer. Plagron Boom 5 ml, power bud 1 ml and green sensation 1 ml Stopped the vita race this week. Happy with the way it's building up it's bud density. leafs and flowers are turning purple and the resin production is great......4 weeks to go...can't wait 😶‍🌫️

2x2 homegrow 👽

So now I have finally harvested my first hydro plant!! It was a pleasure. My partner and I were busy cutting the plant all Sunday. Everything is ready and it is now hanging! To grow: I'll keep it short. At the beginning I worked according to the individual cann thinning scheme. Halfway through the grow I started working with H2o2 because I couldn't maintain the temperatures in the water to avoid illness. The plant was grown like a photoperiod plant because I also had photos in the tent. The plant also suffered a nutrient burn during the flowering phase. I think I worked with the PK 13/14 too early. I'm happy that I was able to learn so much from the grow.

As we enter week three, the stem is hardening on the fantasmo as she likes to flop over. No signs of any weird stress other than that plant flopping over, but the Mephisto's wedding is doing its own squat little thing.

Hi everyone I stop nitrogen and I give more bloom and top max Honestly guys this plant is huge for 6L pot hope no run out off space I have 2 moby is 60%80cm and already cover all space I done defoliation yesterday and don't touch it anymore Day 36 and they drank twice a day each time with 1L nuts this strain keep asking for more feeding Day 41 update If u check last video in 25 sec you see on back plant some branches died I didn't see until yesterday and I cut 3 main branches 😢and now I lose half yield so disappointed and that's my fault heather was to close to pot so hopefully no damage root system 😢
