1. März Die Bilder sind vom gießen gestern. Die AK hatte gestern nach dem gießen mal wieder Sauerstoffmangel. Habe zusätzlich noch einiges an Blättern und Trieben entfernt. Dachte zuerst ich war mal wieder zu grob mit allem und hab overcearing betrieben. Heute Morgen steht sie wie eine Eins! Keine Spuren mehr vom Sauerstoffmangel. So fit war sie noch nie seitdem da Leben drinnen steckt 😂 daher bin ich jetzt im Nachhinein sehr zufrieden mit meinen Schritten die ich unternommen habe. Die Purple Punch macht seit Tag eins sensationelle Arbeit. Sie sieht fit und vital aus, ist halt gefühlten Baby. Sie riecht jetzt schon ordentlich für das bisschen Blütenstempel. Mit ihr bin ich ebenfalls sehr zufrieden:) Nächstes Gießen habe ich vor, er wir etwas florganics oben auf die Erde zu streuen. Schauen wir mal was wird.

Welcome to my Alien Moonrocks Diary. Have to say, out of all 3 plants from original sensible seeds. They have been the biggest, easiest plants I've ever grown. They don't demand much in the way of nutrients are really great growers. The stems that come off from the nodes are huge. And have nice flower points that will no doubt make for some great harvests. (Touch bud). This lady has been ran off Terra Power and has loved the enzymes. The roots are practically coming out of all drainage holes at the end of the pot. The silca has really taken affect too make for really strong leafs and nodes that responsed really well to late LST. In her 1st week of pre flower she grew 13cm. I've been using my far red IR 730nm to increase the lighting time the plant is under and the change has been so rapid. Usually what takes the other females I grew, takes a week before I'd see pistils. Within 2 days I've seen pistils and well has came together really well. All her flower sites on top & below they are all showing signs of sex and throwing it pistils.. can't wait to see her in a few weeks to see her true pedigree. Today on day 17 from date of birth Iam preparing a worm casting tea. In a cheese cloth bag ,Made up of 2 cups of worm castings 2 tablespoons of unsulfured molasses,2 tablespoons of mineralized phosphate (bat shit) ,2 tablespoons of soluble seaweed extract . 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 2 tablespoons of all purpose 4-4-4 all Gia green products other than. I also sprinkled in some great white premium mycorrhizae inton2 gallons of water. Tea will brew for 24 hours before applying.

This was an easy grow, and had some amazing results. This is some of my best homegrown to date ❤️ the ladies were easy to manage, no PM, pests or disease. The root balls were enormous, wasn’t much soil to recover. They got heavy in the end from the weight but managed to stay upright for the most part. They were big stretchers , prepare for that, scrog was a good way to go but some of the eager beavers got away from me, which ended in some massive colas. Overall easy to grow, no surprises and you won’t regret the results! 10/10 ❤️👊🤤

Fantastic internode development. Vigorous growth of fan leaves. Was forced to defoliate again. No signs of deficiencies.

Start of week 3 of flowering for plants 2 & 3. They are showing signs of heat stress, three days last week temps in the grow room reach 35°c. Aside from some heat stress, the plants still look healthy and the bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation of each plant, removing the dying leaves and some of the ones showing signs of dying.

Smooth and relatively quick trim, and very low yield. Still, it was free so I can't complain at all - and the bud does look really nice :) Not perfect, but not bad either.

I make a lot of mistakes but she was strong and kept it up till the end I make mistakes from the beginning because was growing 2 plants in 1 pot I will know the next time I can't wait to smoke it 😎 btw it was my first time growing DWC and I love it this strain teach like no matter happens in life I need to keep growing without giving up fill me up with motivations am so hook up in growing I hope I will never stop growing I love it 😎😍😘

Hi... Everything goes very fast ... I used the pinching method to increase my yield and the quality of buds also... 🍃🍃🍃now I keep my fingers crossed for the girls ...🍃🍃🍃 I think maybe a week and I will switch to flowering... 🍃🍃🍃 Happy growing 🍃🍃🍃

I’m actually Super happy they sprouted on the 1st it just makes keeping track of what day your on so much smoother l think, but I think one was having a hard time getting the shell Off so I helped just I tiny bit!

This week we made some important steps: On day 16 we performed **topping** (cutting off the main top) to encourage side growth. On day 18 we did another training session using **LST (Low Stress Training)**, gently tying down the branches and leaves to open up the plant structure. Climate conditions have slightly changed: Temperature — Day: 24–28°C | Night: 20–23°C Humidity — Day: 65–75% | Night: around 75% Everything is going smoothly, and she is responding very well to the training. **** Tue 17 Dec **** 5 weeks from seeding My efforts to keep humidity up seem to be paying off Also bought a small humidifier - will see how well it works I've released all the LST restraints - they have a bit of room to stretch now Annoyed now as I've run out of plug sockets (1 light, 1 inline fan, 2 clip fans, 1 heating mat, 1 humidifier, 1 radiator) Better not need anything else... **** Thu 19 Dec **** Humidifier was installed on Tuesday - they love it at 40-45% - that really was the problem These plants do not like 20% humidity. Also I chucked in a 14W blurple LED which I got for free - every little helps The bigger "red" plant has a few leaves which were burned on the radiator in the small tent - think I'll nip these off The "black" plant on the right is now recovering and really going for it See video **** Sat 21 Dec **** All going remarkably well **** Sun 22 Dec **** Here we are 40 days from seeding, and there isn't much for me to do The humidifier uses about 3 liters every day, so needs refilling once or twice (it takes 2.2L) They are now easily drinking a liter of water each a day - the pots are dry and light when ready for more I'm giving them a small dose of 7-7-7 every other feed - it doesn't seem to be causing problems The fan & filter are sucking in plenty of fresh air and there's no smell at all (if I were to switch it off there would soon be a mighty stink!) So far lots of flowery pistils but no "sugariness" - I'm sure this will come when ready The "Red" plant has always been more vigorous - this one is a bit more spread out horizontally and I've trimmed away leaves that were in the way. While growing faster, a lot more lower leaves have turned yellow on this one so I've trimmed these off. The "Black" plant was always a bit behind, and it did not like low humidity at all (at one point I thought it was done for) But since I got the humidity up this plant has really got its act together - in fact now it's probably heavier than Red. This one has had virtually no LST and I've only trimmed a very few lower leaves. At this point I'm thinking the best thing to do in this box (70 x 70 cm) would be to grow 4 of the same in 11L pots Would really fill the space very quickly Anyway lets see how this first grow works out **** Tue 24 Dec **** Red on the left is starting to build a bud structure And on top of the main cola there are signs of stickiness and some tiny trichomes Must sort out a better camera as my phone is rubbish Black on the right has taken off - she's taller than Red now She may be slower but I think there'll be a bigger yield off this one If I leave the tent door open for a few minutes I can smell them from 10 feet away. Without the filter I would have a problem That's the end of week 6 Compare the start and end of this week and there's been a fair bit of growth going on

Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. May the force be with you 💪
