Beginning of week 10(veg): Wow the progress this week. Biggie smalls(Short one) really took off. I added my flowering LED light for these girls and they are loving it! I moved the girls into the flower tent for now. The ventilation inside my closet is horrible and I think I’m seeing white mildew spots on some leaves =( Now that they’ve been inside the grow tent for about 4 days I don’t see any signs of the white spots, which is a relief. I defoliated biggie smalls yesterday, which made it so I could really see the branch structure underneath there. I’m really happy with what I see, some really good looking branches. They no longer need the ties, they seem to be growing how I want them to, and when they don’t I give them a little bend to match the canopy height. I’m going on vacation in a month so I set purchased a drip system from amazon. After spending about 20 minute setting it up, and then painstakingly driving the stakes into the roots of my plants, I realized the product didn’t actually work. I’ve purchased another pump and some hosing, we’ll give this another go when it arrives. I’ll be feeding them again tomorrow. One more week of veg for Biggie Smalls and then she’s going for 2 days of darkness and flower. Really excited for that. Hopefully she continues the strong growth over the next week.

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. Letzte Woche! Einmal noch gießen aber nur wenig damit die bissl trockenstress haben und trichome nochmal anziehen. Keinen Dünger mehr und nur noch ph neutrales Wasser. Geruch ist super geil! Aussehen ist auch ne 10/10. bin sehr gespannt aufs Endprodukt!

El ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/21 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 50% de potencia. Dia 91 la 4 semana de floración , la 1051 va mucho mas avanzada que las demás, hay algun problema con la mosca blanca aunque ya hemos pedido depredadores para combatir con ella de manera biologica, la Glow Starz y la White Noise van mucho mas atrasadas aunque se ven mucho mejor

This strain was an easy girl to grow. Very vigorous and towered over her double grape sister. She didn't develop the most dense nugs but I will attribute that to my lame light setup during this grow. She grew under 2 mars 300s and 1 hlg65 4000k in between. I've rolled 1 joint that got me pretty baked. I would judge this particular pheno as sativa leaning. I also vaped a bowl through the mighty and she still has a very green taste because She hasn't been curing very long. She developed a beautiful color when she ripened at the end of flower and yielded 54.8 dry grams of beautiful buds. I had probably another 40 or 50 grams of trim from this lady also. Next time I grow this strain, I will be dropping her in a much bigger pot. Harvested when trichomes were mostly foggy with maybe 5% amber. The biggest auto I have grown yet.

Soaked seeds all in peroxide solution for effortless germination 48 hours or until root pops out 1mm, than I paper towel them for 2 days for tap roots before planting in the medium. Note: Smile now Cry Laterz and FX3 were started one week later. Not pictured in this post. The first 6 popped were lemon cherry pop, which are from S1 seeds I made from 2 females using the stress method. I just raised my flowering temps for one day at 92 degrees during week 4 flowering to make them herm as an experiment and it worked😅! This was during a hot summer and I just shut off the a/c for a day in the room which I usually keep at 77-82 degrees! So I basically tricked them!

Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. This week I noticed I overdid it a bit with the fertilizer, so I just watered it. I also noticed that this lamp in a 60x60 can't be too close as per the manual, but you have to keep them at least 60cm apart (at least in my case) to avoid damage or light stress. As for the rest, I have to say it's doing well! 😍

I am surprised this girl has little to no smell.

El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 16h de luz, el foco está al 50% de potencia. De momento van creciendo a buen ritmo y tienen un buen color, estaban muy bien enraizadas al realizarle el trasplante se notaba la abundancia radicular, aplique de manera foliar el tetra 9.
