Week 8 is officially here, and it has been an absolute furnace out there! Temperatures soared between 35–38°C this week, pushing the plants through some serious outdoor heat stress. Hydration was the main mission—she’s been chugging an impressive 3 to 4 liters of water a day! She did sacrifice 2 or 3 of her older bottom leaves to cope with the extreme temperatures, but that's completely expected when it gets this hot. I’m crossing my fingers that she continues to push through the summer heat with this much resilience. Honestly, she’s handling it like a total trooper. She’s currently sitting at 53cm and looking fantastic. The buds are shaping up beautifully, and I am absolutely obsessed with the look of those violet flower stems underneath the bright white pistils. My first seed didn't make it due to technical difficulties, so I popped another to try to maximize the output from the mini machine. She is growing well at day 7. Seeing some leaf curling from her adjusting to the environment, but she is still showing steady growth. She is a week behind the 2 plants that were originally germinated. She will be topped around day 10 or 12 as soon as the third node comes up enough to pinch off. I started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irrigated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Hi guys So.its day 21 end of week 3 I have done a major defoliation and the 2 x strawberry chemdawg og from super sativa seed club are showing sex and both females 👌 the blackberry moonrock from taste buds are longing it out it wants to show but still hasn't yet. But all 3 have stretched nice and lots of bud sites.

An in to soil she and her sister testers go, i know that for know everything looks the same , apart from the photos, but this will start changing with them growing. For now all of them are growing pretty much the same and now that they move in to soil and start feedings they will start showing the phenotype and genetic differences, but for now all looking great , healthy and strong af!!! So , if you look back to her beginning, she started off really good in terms of growth 👍 but she had horrific internode branching😡 , even going into week 6 she wouldn't even show her sex even when put on a 12 / 12 , so just to on the safe side I had know choice but to chop her 💀 Sad ...... very sad 😭 👉Oh well growmies , fortunately I have other diaries and plants on the go👈 Until next time .........

This first week in flower was a bit more exciting than previous weeks. I decided to put in a scrog net to help spread and even out the canopy. So naturally, I 3D-printed one. (Yes, I can be that nerdy.) Besides, it was the quickest and easiest solution as I don't like the stretchy-net kind so need a frame. Much easier to download a file and press print :D Installing it was a breeze and I also cleared away most branches and leaves below the screen. The stuff that won't make it above the screen and will just result in a bunch of larf. I'm still seeing chlorosis (which I suspect has to do with her transitioning into flower and stretching), so I gave her a bit of Orgatrex and Bactrex. This week was just as usual as any other... The planta feel nice, ther wad no issue with them so far. I gave veg nutrtients for the last time. Next week I will start to give them flowering nutrients.

There is not much to tell this week :) A few came to the flowering tent, 2 are still in the vegi phase for 2 days and then come last to the flowering tent :-) The Blue Cheese and the Kosher Tangie Kush smell very good and how they should 😍👍 It will be difficult to choose 2 mums :-). A lot of spreading this week. They basically doubled in size if not more and are now starting to grow up. Due to this incredible growth I've cut some leaves of the bottom; they've just gotten over grown by other leaves and the top to let more light in.

Day 24 - started LST on 1 Orange Sherbet & 1 White Widow to compare the differences at harvest! Day 25 - they are looking great! Can’t wait to see how the buds look😍✌️🏼 Day 26 - stretching out a lot! Tento týden jsem provedl pořádnou defoliaci a odstranění nízkých větví, které se nedostanou na světlo. Zakoupení odvlhčovače nepomohlo snížit vlhkost.. budu muset pravděpodobně v budoucnosti zalévat menším množství vody. D82/19 Čtvrtek Každá z holek dostala 1,5l vody bez živin. Poté jsem rozpustil 2x RQS bloom booster tablets ve 13 litrech vody do které jsem přidal i ostatní živiny vypsané výše. Tento roztok jsem rozdělil mezi mé dívky. Každá tím pádem dostala 3 litry vody a částečně jsem tím propláchl substrát jako prevenci usazování solí.

Ci siamo! Siamo arrivati quasi al traguardo...questi giorni le ragazze sono al loro massimo splendore e l'odore nella stanza e fortissimo! Anche questo aggiornamento è stato fatto grazie all'aiuto di mia madre che gentilmente mi ha tenuto e curato le bambine, sono contento perché sembra che è riuscita a seguire tutte le mie istruzioni e questa volta non ci sono stati problemi...è la prima volta che mi capita di competere in un contest e farmi mandare foto per mail..chiedo scusa se la messa a fuoco non è sempre delle migliori e personalmente non posso chiedere di meglio, è un lavoro che mi serviva e sono dovuto partire lasciando tutto indietro...tornando ai nostri fiori, il green sensation di Plagron devo dire che ha fatto la differenza, contando che il cibo questa volta è stato preparato interamente da me, ha fatto un ottimo lavoro e i fiori sembrano dirlo forte! Cercherò di aggiornare l'ultimo step prima della fine...tra due giorni farò tagliare le ragazze! A presto!!!
